The BlackWatch cafe is adorable, cozy, so unique. The selection is so innovative so it has a lot more to offer than just coffee. They definitely have a foam art and they do not disappoint here. They have smoothie that people rave about as well! But can we talk about the building itself? The roaring fireplace at the entry is perfect for a winter’s day or Autumn night! It's loaded with history and decorated with classic literary and fan pieces, interesting conversation pieces, and fun works of art. “Sometimes it's hard to find a cafe with great coffee and friendly baristas. (Often baristas have an attitude.) This place has super friendly staff and I was happy that the large coffee "for here" can be served in real mugs instead of to-go cups and that they put 4 shots of espresso in the large. It's also hard to find non dairy unsweetened milk, but they have it here. Prices are not ridiculously high like many places. Definitely recommend!“

Food quality, made fresh to assure taste and temperature is satisfactory for enjoyable breakfeast. The bagels are soft inside crunchy outside and down right flavorable. If your favorite is toasted with butter and cream cheese go for it, if you prefer more protein try this combo bacon with extra bacon sausage pattie, fried egg and cheese on toasted bagel well be prepared to have a breakfast feast right in your car or at one or tables inside a beautifully decorated dinning area. This wonderfull restaurant is operated by a smiling dedicated staff who wants your dining experience to be memorable and quiet frankly they do just that. My wife and I enjoyed both sandwiches and added their hash brown patties seasoned nicely to our taste. Hot tasty coffee varieties abound, in my case it was dcaff. Finally large orders should be phoned if your in a hurry otherwise this place is a hoppin.“

“Abdul and me had the cutest date here. We ordered our usuals and sat at the perfect table near the barista. As we waited for our drinks to be crafted with care, we chatted about the lovely array of cups and umbrella holders. Then after we decided where to sit, we both looked at our curated feeds. After we finished, we decided to walk all around the mall. First we went and got a jersey shirt at a really cool place called Sneaker King. Then, we went to Boscov’s. Next, we stopped at Auntie Anne’s for a pretzel and lemonade. After this, I showed Abdul where I got my first Pistons jersey from (now known as Crunch). Finally, we walked all the way down to a really cool man who has a store with belts, shoes, and hats. He is near Gertrud Hawk. We basically had a really exciting day! I would say this day was super cool.“

“I got the Saigon special pho with beef tendons, absolutely delicious. the spring rolls were fresh and tender, and my wife loved her shrimp rice bowl. we will be coming back, I've got my eyes on the glass noodles and maybe a sandwich.“

“I visited Duck Donuts for the first time last week. When we got there, there was a line, but it moved quickly. Staff members were extremely friendly and I saw them all working well together. Our Donuts were very warm, fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back again!“

It’s now the end of February and they still have gingerbread! The girls are extremely nice and you’re ALWAYS greeted when entering.
The store is spacey so it doesn’t feel like you’re sitting on top of one another or in someone’s personal space.
The comfy chairs they have are just that, so comfy. They have normal height tables and tables slightly up higher but not necessarily bar top tables, handicapped areas to tables as well.
Bathrooms are clean and for customer use only, a sign on the door but I’m not sure if people follow that.
The store was also fairly clean.

One thing I would hold them accountable for but won’t take off stars, is my drink had no flavor today, I went back in to have it remade and the barista acted if it was my fault. She placed the blame on everything but a genuine apology - I was extremely upset over that. I don’t need to know what works, what doesn’t, what ingredients you’re out of. Just apologize and remake - it’s not that big of a deal. Confrontation to a customer upset over a drink not being what was asked is not appropriate.“

“Is this the Starbucks in steamtown mall? Because if it is they are by far the best!!! I legit order my annoying drink every morning with extra caramel and oat milk and all this extra stuff then a special drink for my 3 years WVERY morning and they never complain they never mess anything up they are so nice and make sure everything is perfect and they are super fast service. “Starbucks (every where) have always been slow - it's just the nature of the beast. Their addition of the drive thru to many of their stores has always baffled me - there is always a line inside, so why did you think adding a drive thru wouldn't add to everyone's wait time - inside and out. That said this location was very nice. You just have to want to add 20-30 minutes to your schedule if you go.“

The second time (last week), we went inside for the iced Coffee and the girl that prepared did the same thing with less coffee and way more cream. However, Amanda who was at the front looked at it and instantly gave us a new iced coffee. She was kind and professional to us and also to her colleague. Keep up your great work, Amanda.“

“Dublin Donuts is crazy efficient. I couldn’t even tell where my drink came from—it just appeared like magic. Lightning-fast service without sacrificing quality. The staff were friendly and kept everything running smoothly.

What really stood out: the bathrooms. Super clean, modern, and I felt completely comfortable and safe using them, which you don’t always get at a coffee shop.

They also accept Apple Pay, which made checkout seamless. No fumbling for cards or cash—just tapped and done.
