“This is a nice BYOB restaurant at the upper end of restaurant and brewery row in downtown Phoenixville. The food was quite nice, but I didn't realize it was BYOB until we were seated. It is deceiving because there is an old bar right ahead of you when you come in. Nice waiter, not overly attentive when it came to refills though. Must be from Europe. Overall nice atmosphere and relatively quiet, probably due to the lack of alcohol.“

The food was good but it was the service that truly made the experience memorable. Our bartender Shannon, couldn’t have been more accommodating! She was super friendly, charismatic and her attentiveness was remarkable! From remembering what we had to drink, to bringing us refills without us having to ask, to going above and beyond to make sure our kids were happy and content. Numerous guests acknowledged how great Shannon's service was. Great venue! Great food! Outstanding service! We definitely recommend The Fox Barn, especially if you're looking for a venue or to host a party!“

“I think they are off to a good start. The menu seemed limited but I did hear they were updating this. The fried pickles were awesome and a very large portion. My son absolutely loved the chicken and biscuits and said it was the best he ever had. The wings were just average and needed more sauce but had potentialto be a 5. The service was great and everyone was friendly. Its really large inside and great for watching football, hanging out with a group of friends, or even having an event or party.“

“This was our first time at The Downtown, but it won't be our last.

The restaurant was clean and well laid out and decorated for Christmas. We were greeted immediately and seated quickly.

Our server, Bryce, was great. Attentive, friendly, and efficient.

Our drinks came quickly. My wife's cranberry margarita was especially delightful.

The food was excellent. It came timely, but not in a rush. We got the tots appetizer, which was really tasty - the beer cheese in particular. My wife got the French dip, with real roast beef, not just cold cuts. I got the Kinda Healthy salad (with a cheeseburger on top!), which was really great.

Overall this is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant. There were people at the bar watching the game and families with kids in the dining area, making for a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Great selection of fresh desserts, made both on the premises and Shady Maple in Lancaster. Salad bar had a huge fresh variety of salad toppings. Katie, our server, was a delight. After a little wait to get seated (they were packed and the wait was faster than told it would be) our server Brianna (I hope I got her name right) greeted us and got our drink order. We checked out the menu and there are lots of mentions of fresh this and fresh that...I walked in wanting a burger but took a chance on the cheese ravioli and meatballs and she ordered the grilled rueben. Food came out and it looked amazing, but I am a picky Italian and wasn't sure what the taste would be. Amazing, absolutely amazing. I left nothing on plate and she devoured her sandwich. Meanwhile, when ever we finished a drink a new one appeared like a ninja!!! The server was amazing, the food was amazing and the place itself is amazing. Fast forward to Friday (tonight) we decided to go for a mother's day treat from our son. The whole family got together (4 of us) for dinner. Everyone ordered an Italian dish. I ordered the chicken parm. This was the best chicken parm I have ever had. Better than mom, grandma and even my own. I have eaten a ton of chicken parm in my 50 years on this planet. This is best. The chicken was perfect the pasta was perfect. Nothing was left on the plate. Needless to say this is my new go to Italian spot!!! I didn't get pics of the food but the pics of the clean plate says it all. Oh, we had the same server as the first time. Again. Flawless service! We will be back again and again“

“We had a lovely time at the Duck Inn tonight! Our server, Kyleigh D, was so accommodating and didn't even blink when I needed to change an order. The staff all around was lovely, even when some miserable lady caused a scene and embarrassed herself. They handled it very professionally. My kiddo loved going down to the water to see the ducks and stand on the dock. The food was good bar fare and we were seated in a quieter area which worked out well with the kids.
