“The other reviewer is right...the beer is cold! Rarely do I ever get served a Coors Light bottle as cold as it is at the American Hotel. The bartender Kat is so easy going and down to earth and exemplifies what a bartender should be like. Great service from her, good wings (I always get the butter, garlic, parm), cheap beers, and the atmosphere is so laid back--locals just having a drink and socializing. The interior is old school which I love and the vibes are really positive. This is the only bar I frequent in town. No bars in Lehighton, Jim Thorpe, Brodheadsville compare. Cool place. Good people. Good vibes.“

“My wife Brenda and I were privileged to eat tonite at the Beltzville Bar and grill. I had egg plant Parmesan platter. It came out hot, beautifully place on a large white plate. The pasta sauce was an Italian delight. I am guessing homemade by Deana. The egg plant was fresh cut and lightly breaded. The garlic bread had a die for buttery garlic seasoning. The salad was fresh cut served in a 1/2 bell pepper. The greens were varied and of a five Star restaurant quality. The pasta was Al dente firm with a tender texture. Not soft and mushy like so many places today. I also had 2 dozen clams - cooked to perfection with browned drawn butter. My beverage was Miller Lite in a tall neck bottle served in a chilled frosted glass. Our server was outstanding and helpful during our entire meal. I am sorry I forgot the nice young ladies name.“

“Had a fantastic meal. With how crowded they were I expected a longer wait but my meal came out fast and correct. Marilyn our server was fantastic. Friendly and knowledgeable. Came back to check on how meal was going and if everything was ok or if we needed more drinks. I’d recommend reservations and ask for Marilyn’s table! Definitely will return.“

“Loved the food!!! amazing customer service. Tried the tacos and the chimichanga. The tacos were delicious and I would recommend the guacamole and the jalapeno cilantro sauce. The chimichanga is huge, full of meat and delicious! The owner gave me a chicken empanada and also would recommend it. Full of meat from corner to corner and very flavorful.The best in the area! “impromptu stop, first time there around 5:30 on a Wednesday. Food was fresh and excellent - lots of choices - appears that most foods are homemade and not frozen. Was awesome to enjoy the Chicken Melt with fresh breaded chicken. We had the Turkey Cranberry sandwich, fresh cut and crispy fries - the chicken dumpling? soup and the apple cobbler with ice cream. The server was very friendly and accomodating and all the employees greet you. Clean. We will be back.“

“We stopped in today for a late lunch as we have always driven by and always wanted to try this cute place. It wasn’t busy and we were seated right away, the staff were very welcoming. We ordered our food and the appetizer came out right away! We had the pierogies and they were so good! I had a salad that was on special, and my daughters each had the cesear salad and a burger. Everything was delicious! The service was excellent, Mackenzie was our server and she was very attentive. We will definitely be back!!“

“Prices were very reasonable for the size of the food. We definitely enjoyed our food and atmosphere. The waitress was very helpful, I will definitely be coming back out when we can again,we live almost 2 and 1/2 hours away.

We only spent $28 for full plates and the drinks were double what we'd normally get at restaurants.
