“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

“Was craving cheese fries and heard Poe’s has great ones. Can confirm the cheese sauce itself was very tasty. I wish the fries were crispier, they seemed like natural hand cut fries but got too soggy. Some sogginess is expected with hot gooey cheese on top, but I’ve had crispier.

“Last night, Lindinger's catered our wedding at Free Will Brewing in Perkasie. They had someone come out to set up all of the food for us, and she did so in amazing time! She was very informative and helped us ensure all of our food stayed hot and fresh.

The food was absolutely delicious, my maid of honor stole the extra pasta and potato salads to bring home!! Extremely affordable and plenty of food for 100 guests. Thank you Lindinger's for being a part of our special night!“

“Wanted to go five stars in this one just for the nostalgia of it all. And our server was super helpful and friendly. Maybe I made the wrong choice, but my “zep”cheesesteak waa just OK. A little skimpy on the meat, I thought. Fries were also…ok.

That said, the experience was worth the visit. Booths are a little less than comfortable for sitting, but it felt like taking part in a movie set for 60 years ago.

The weight of the excess to be had here is seriously the only detracting factor in this review, a hungrier man than I would easily give this meal five stars with my blessing. The quality of the steak was top notch, I’m just hoping the second half of mine holds up as leftovers. The beef tallow fries were soft but very rich— while not entirely to my taste, the flavor was well complemented by the cooper sharp that accompanied it. Looking forward to my next visit!“

“I had a delicious cheesesteak here the other day. The meat was top quality shaved ribeye and the roll was fresh and crusty. I have a small bone to pick. This store does not have a soda fountain or even an ice maker, so if you dine in you can't enjoy an ice cold Coke (or your beverage of choice) with your steak sandwich. Most of their competitors and for some odd reason the Richboro and Newtown locations have soda fountains, but this location does not, and it's a shame.“

“I only get to order from here a few times a year unfortunately, but every time i get something from here it is great. Eggs are always cooked perfectly. They're variety is fantastic. Cupbop is always great and hardy! They are a family and very friendly people every time. This most recent experience was interesting. I placed an online order and went to pick it up and when i got there all the lights were out due to a black out. I saw someone else go inside and talked to the owners about my order, and they still made my order for me in pitch black! I have never had a restaurant do this, ever. Every time i can get down here and have time i will support them. Everyone else should as well.“

A Zep has one meat, thick cut onions, thick cut tomatoes, provolone cheese, oregano, oil, and sweet peppers optional. That's it. I gotta say this sandwich is absolutely delicious. “I just moved into Rittenhouse Claridge and my experience has been great so far! John in the leasing office was very helpful and answered my many questions very promptly. Anita was at the front desk during my move in and is so pleasant and helpful, she made the experience very smooth. My apartment was very clean when I moved in. Also, the location of the building is amazing! Lastly, If you need parking, there is a garage under the building operated by LAZ parking, and Bala, the garage attendant, is wonderful. Despite of the bad ones I decided to try it for myself I bought there cheesesteak fries and soda lunch special along with a brisket sandwich I also upgraded my fries to the Spanish fries, let me tell you something I wasn’t disappointed at all everything was great, flavorful, and hot it’s definitely a place to go to when I’m down the city! “Visiting Newtown PA and I was craving a REAL Italian hoagie after moving to VA years ago. Can't get a good one out by us. Ordered the Italian Supreme, a turkey, and a crab cake sub. Finally! A place that makes a meat log Italian sub the way I like. They even had the sweet peppers I like. The crab cake sub was also great with a nice meaty crabcake that had a slightly sweet flavor. I understand the Newtown location is new and getting established. They made a minor mistake with our order and made it right above and beyond. I wish these folks great success so I can come back again. Serious good fresh ingredients and they really know how to make a great hoagie! Love these guys!“
