“My wife and I had the Korean Chicken and Spicy Chicken, both of which were outstanding. The fries and pickled beans were also tasty. We were served quickly and the service was friendly and attentive.“

“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

“It’s dated, a bit worn, and absolutely perfect!
First time here, so I got a small Zep, a small cheesesteak, fries & a coke.

Zep sandwich - absolutely awesome!!! The cooked bologna (which refers to how it is made, as it is still a cold-cut and is not fried and served warm as I was expecting!), was a tasty variation of salami that I really enjoyed. Served on a local “Conshohocken roll” - which was puffy/doughy/yummy. Garnished with provolone, ripe tomatoes slices, generous onion slices, olive oil & spices. I then added some of the pepper relish (not spicy) that was in a jar on the table, to mix up the bites. Unique & delicious - a great sandwich!

Cheesesteak - I added grilled onions, lettuce, tomato & mayo. The meat was juicy, flavorful, of high quality, and was just the right amount. I enjoyed the softer hoagie bun (as opposed to the crusty sesame seed variety usually served in the city at the traditional places). A really good cheesesteak!

Fries - the only thing I wasn’t
“wowed” by. Totally fine, but nothing special.

Coke - came out of a fountain, and included a refill - the way it should be! Bonus - it tasted a tad syrup-heavy, which I’m not complaining about…

Overall - this place is a gem, and is worth a visit if you are in the area. The food is great, and walking into the restaurant is literally stepping back in time. Loved paying at the register on the way out, with requisite random candy for sale on the counter. Reminded me of going out to eat with my parents as a kid in the 70’s.“

“Today we had the sausage and peppers breakfast sandwich, and it was fabulous. We’ve also had Bud’s breakfast wrap, Smalls’ Italian sandwich, and one of our favorites is the Chicken Cutlet sandwich. “Was craving cheese fries and heard Poe’s has great ones. Can confirm the cheese sauce itself was very tasty. I wish the fries were crispier, they seemed like natural hand cut fries but got too soggy. Some sogginess is expected with hot gooey cheese on top, but I’ve had crispier.

“Eve’s is a true Norristown staple! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid my dad used to take me and all these years later, it’s still one of my favorite spots. They have THE BEST zeps! The rolls are amazing, the deli meats are always delicious, and that mayo just hits different. 😂 I always get extra mayo and pepper spread. The turkey zeps are delicious too! “Last night, Lindinger's catered our wedding at Free Will Brewing in Perkasie. They had someone come out to set up all of the food for us, and she did so in amazing time! She was very informative and helped us ensure all of our food stayed hot and fresh.

“Visiting Newtown PA and I was craving a REAL Italian hoagie after moving to VA years ago. Can't get a good one out by us. Ordered the Italian Supreme, a turkey, and a crab cake sub. Finally! A place that makes a meat log Italian sub the way I like. They even had the sweet peppers I like. The crab cake sub was also great with a nice meaty crabcake that had a slightly sweet flavor. I understand the Newtown location is new and getting established. They made a minor mistake with our order and made it right above and beyond. I wish these folks great success so I can come back again. Serious good fresh ingredients and they really know how to make a great hoagie! Love these guys!“

“I decided to look up somewhere to get something fast to eat near by this place popped up and had good reviews. Despite of the bad ones I decided to try it for myself I bought there cheesesteak fries and soda lunch special along with a brisket sandwich I also upgraded my fries to the Spanish fries, let me tell you something I wasn’t disappointed at all everything was great, flavorful, and hot it’s definitely a place to go to when I’m down the city! “These empanadas are amazing! I bought two each of the chicken, beef and cheesesteak and they were all great. They are a good size, the meat is juicy and the dough is perfectly fried.

“I just moved into Rittenhouse Claridge and my experience has been great so far! John in the leasing office was very helpful and answered my many questions very promptly. Anita was at the front desk during my move in and is so pleasant and helpful, she made the experience very smooth. My apartment was very clean when I moved in. Also, the location of the building is amazing! Lastly, If you need parking, there is a garage under the building operated by LAZ parking, and Bala, the garage attendant, is wonderful. So far, I would definitely recommend living at Rittenhouse Claridge!“
