“I’m obsessed! Found this bakery on too good to go & took a ride over (from jersey) I came home with 4 different flavors of the banana pudding & my 16 year old and I tried each one. I can’t even pick a favorite because they are all so good. The Magic flavor name makes complete sense when you take a bite because different flavors seem to magically appear in your mouth (peanut butter being the last to hit…) hard to explain but if you taste it, it will make sense! I got 2 large puddings in my order than bought 2 different small ones in different flavors & i regret not getting the 2 extra cups in large! Driving in Philly stresses me out but I’ve never wanted to drive back over there so bad! For more pudding! I will be recommending this bake shop to everyone! The guy behind the counter was super nice & welcoming and helped me pick out some favorites. It’s a nice Friendly shop with amazing puddings & I will definitely be back!“

“Brewerytown Bakery is such a gem — a cozy little spot in Philly with two small tables, big flavors, and some of the best vegan sammies I’ve ever had 🥯✨ The Phillywide is straight-up the breakfast sandwich of my dreams: cheddar jalapeño bagel, tempeh bacon, red onion, Just Egg, beautifully spiced, and melty vegan cheese. Out. Of. This. World. I’ll be dreaming about it for a while 💭💛 My hubby went classic with an everything bagel chive cream cheese, and we took a chocolate croissant to go — flaky, rich, perfection. Everything was absolutely incredible. “I lived in Seattle for almost two decades and will admit to being a bit of a coffee shop snob. The Nook hits so many of my high points. Extremely good locally roasted coffee (in-house!). Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“

“I bought two cupcakes last night (red velvet and birthday cake), and they were so delicious . The icing wasn’t overwhelming sweet and the cupcake itself was so moist! Would definitely come back and try more sweets. Also the lady who took my order was so sweet and her customer service was awesome!“

“We were visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this gem! The food was delicious and the staff was kind, inviting and friendly! Our waitress has friends and family from our area back home so it was nice to have that connection with her! Highly recommend and we will be back for sure next time we visit the Philadelphia area!“

“I placed an order for a bowtie cake which I was hoping would not be impossible to make but Tyisha did an excellent job with the design. Not to mention the moisture and flavor of the cake and fondant was superb. I will order her cakes for any occasion. “Crust was an accidental find. I was strolling down the main street in Manayunk and the familiar vegan word caught my eye. Inside, I was surprised by the variety of baked goods, past the usual cupcakes and cookies. Multiple refrigerators house cheesecakes, cake cups, tiramisu, breakfast bakes, monkey bread, and more. We bought a seeded card (Mother's Day is around the distant corner) and a chocolate strawberry cheesecake. The strawberry cheesecake was dense and creamy with a crispy Oreo crust. I'd love to return for the pop tart. Updated from previous review on 2025-03-30“

“Overall the food is tasty. I have had their Chicken Curry, Stewed Chicken, Rice and Peas, String Beans, Mac n Cheese. Definitely more of a "hole in the wall spot." The space is dark, quiet and not particularly welcoming, but you can order food and you can tell they can cook. It is defintiely better than other spots in the city. Id recommend folks get it "To Go." They have Caribbean drinks to buy too.“

“when I went here today my ice cream was like 3/4 gummy bears and like 1/4 ice cream I don’t really care I think it’s kinda funny but I’m a little sad I wish I could’ve had more ice cream and less gummy bears the cup was basically like actually full of gummy bears and I didn’t ask for extra but otherwise it still tasted really good and the customer service is pretty good they work as quick as they can but the customers are a little odd some days also there was random peice of like peanut in my ice cream when I didn’t order peanuts I also don’t really care but I could see how that would be a problem if I had an allergy“

“Ordered a birthday cake for my mom’s 50th from Kia’s and I cannot recommend them more. I worked with Rachel, and she was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to fulfill my requests. The cake was BEAUTIFUL, and absolutely delicious. Our guests raved!! Also, I want to say that the staff at Kia’s is so friendly and nice. Such a wonderful atmosphere. Will absolutely be coming back!!“
