“We found this gem of an Italian deli in Ridley Park, less than a mile off the Delaware Expressway.

My husband ordered the “Old World”, a fresh baked roll piled high with meats, cheeses, and Italian spices. I had a sandwich with lightly breaded chicken breast, fresh Mozzarella and roasted red peppers. And yes, it really was that good.

“What a beautiful dining experience for our first time at Anthony's. We got there earlier than our reservation. They were very nice and accommodating. We were seated within minutes. Our waitress was very helpful and mannerly. She was so pleasant. We decided to try the scippelle soup. (Sorry for the misspelling) it was delicious! We also had the figs wrapped in prosciutto and gorganzola cheese topped with a balsamic glaze. Amazing and so different. For entrées my husband had a veal chop that looked like a tomahawk steak. It was topped with a brown demi glaze accompanied with mashed potatoes and a melody of vegetables. I had the halibut with shrimp and assorted veggies. It was good.

To put an ending on this fabulous meal, we both shared a piece of homemade jewish apple cake.

“Sunday, around 7:30, take out hopping, but the restaurant was quiet. Best described as a fairly typical neighborhood joint. The server was friendly and competent the food was very good, and the prices were astonishingly reasonable. BUT...One thing stood out the dinner rolls were astoundingly wonderful. A case of next time I order 9 rolls and a side of red sauce. Seriously, they take obvious pride in their craft, everything was everything, and the rolls kicked serious butt. Glad I went, and would go back anytime.“

“We visited last night. We were greeted right away. The service was so good. I had Shells Aurora. Simply amazing. Pasta and chicken was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend didn't see chicken marsala on the menu. only chicken parmesan.He asked and they made him the chicken marsala. So good too. We ordered wine. I had the Cabernet and he had the Pino Noir .Both wines were rich and savory. Very tasty. The floor manager even came up to make sure we were happy. That was very nice. we received the check and the server boxed up our food for us. The check really was not expensive. I paid and gave a 25% tip. I normally don't care either way with itailian resteraunts but this place was so nice. Rustic and warm atmosphere, pleasant staff, and amazing food. Will visit again for sure.“

But to get to the point there is basically more food spots in the mall then actual interesting stores in my opinion so I went there to eat because I hadn’t had food yet. With that being said I kept walking almost to the end of the mall by where sears was and there it was. I have to say the place is great from service to food everything was amazing! If I was more local I would definitely stop in often. Our server was super friendly and outgoing she had no issue getting us anything that was needed she even took a soup back that I didn’t like without any hesitation or attitude that most other places would not do. The food was great the place was clean bar options were great like I said I have not 1 complaint . Picture was from the complimentary bread they give , and a special of the lobster/crab and shrimp ravioli . We also got the chicken parm sandwich so cheesy and the special steak which was pretty loaded! Crinkle cut fries with cheese were also great! “Update: We have lived here nearly a year and this is still our go-to place. My oldest daughter is now vegan and they custom make her vegan breadsticks. Love these guys! We order from here usually once per week. Their plain pizza is classic. I think they put cinnamon in their crust—there is something special. It’s the only pizza that all of my kids like. Win!
