“Wick's is awesome! Their staff is always super friendly! I always bring coolers of food from Wicks with me to the Outer Banks when I vacation there for a week in a house rental. Wick's has almost every product available; from burgers, hot dogs, french fries, onion rings, chicken fingers (homemade right there on site), all things seafood, chicken patties, roast beef and gravy and mac and cheese right in the aluminum pans to cook them in, vegetables, almost everything imaginable. I highly recommend this place of business.“

“We attended a family event at the Reef. As vegans, we were concerned that our dietary needs could not be accommodated at a steak and seafood place, but we were guests at the event with no hand in choosing the venue. My husband called ahead and was told they would try to accommodate us and to let the server know. The staff was absolutely wonderful in making sure we had something to eat and even checked on us several times to make sure we were doing well. The Reef went above and beyond in customer service. I ordered the fish hoagie and could only eat half; there were at least four pieces of fish on it, plus a side of potato salad. The potato salad wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t bad either.

My husband had the fried shrimp platter with six shrimp, coleslaw, and fries. He said it was delicious and only struggled to finish because the portion was so generous. Overall, I’m honestly upset it took me so long to try this spot. I drive by it at least three times a week!
