“The only reason it's not 5 is that it's not upscale and neither is the food...BUT I had the most delicious BBQ chicken salad. Very delicious chicken, small lettuce bites, good fries. Bigger than it looks and tasty to the last bite! The waitress was very friendly and was perfect.“

“Peppino's was great, the guys behind the counter were super nice to my girls and I. The pizza was awesome, I love pizza and this place did not disappoint at all. It was cooked just the way I like it too, a lil crispy and super cheesy! Thanks for the pizza, hope to be back again sometime!“

“Zuppa’s is a casual local restaurant that serves foods such as soups, salads, sandwiches, paninis, sides, and desserts. Foods can be ordered in person or online for takeout or delivery.I purchased several foods from here, and they all tasted very good. I recommend the veggie panini, mac and cheese, spoon bread, corn and shrimp chowder, and lobster bisque.“

“Amazing food! Truly delicious Italian food, and some of the best I’ve had in a long time. It’s a hidden gem that goes unnoticed way too much. A perfect place to get upscale food and classic Italian-American food. I tried the Pick a Pasta with vodka sauce and penne and a mini peanut butter chocolate bombe for dessert. Both items were stellar. The pasta was perfectly cooked, not too soggy or too Al dense. The sauce had a nice balance of sweetness and creaminess, with that tomato bringing in a touch of acidity. Great portion for the price, too. Highly recommend it.The bombe was a lovely little dessert, and the perfect size for a person (you might be able to split if you’re too stuffed). Rich peanut butter and chocolate, tasty cake. Very good for the price. And very clearly made in house. They also gave me some complimentary bread, which was absolutely delicious. A humongous piece of bread! Topped with some seeds, and it goes perfectly with the olive oil they added in as well. So delicious. All in all, this place is amazing. Delicious pasta and desserts, and what a nice surprise with the bread! I would definitely order from here again.Vegetarian options: You can make pasta dishes that are vegetarian, salads, etc“

“Favorited restaurant for their homemade ravioli, pizza, and hoagies. Food quality is good. Gets crowded fast during the dinner rush and parking becomes scarce. Pricing is average for the area. Local family owned. Has a separate bar area. Dining area is a bit on the smaller side. Had a separate area and entryway for takeout pickup.“

“I want to shout-out Pietro’s for excellent customer service. Pietro’s is our favorite pizza place around us and we normally order through Grubhub. We love their variety of pizza and the Sicilian is a family favorite. There was an unfortunate issue today which was not a fault of their own where someone had stolen our order and when the new driver went to pick it up there was no order there. Grubhub rectified the money portion and gave us a credit, but we got a personal call from the restaurant which told us exactly what had happened, and how they wanted to make sure as regulars we weren’t mad at them. Honestly it meant so much to my wife and I and we will be ordering from them very shortly because one the pizza is great but 2, the service is even better.“

“Great food and service! This is a nice little restaurant that really helps keep the North Park feel with all of the plants it has around it. Bring drinks if you want; they only have water, root beer, and tea. Cash only but they do have an ATM inside.“

“I thought it might be closed, but pulled in anyway. You order and pick up at a window so no dine-in. Service was prompt and the sandwiches were delicious. The polite young man even brought them out to the car. I would highly recommend if you are looking for to-go subs.“

“Food was delicious, portions a bit small for the price. Good wine and specialty cocktails selection. Price was a little shocking. $10.50 for a shot of plain rum and then charged 1.00 for the soda water it was mixed in then 0.75 for splash of lime juice. Little ridiculous especially since their "specialty cocktails" were $11-13. The desserts were tasty and the atmosphere and service was excellent. But I think $120 for one appetizer, one pizza (8-10 in. personal size) and 2 drinks for the 2 of us was over the top. I don't think we will be returning. Just FYI I wanted to get the fried catfish but at $37 I decided against it.Parking: Located in the center of town need to use on street parking (very limited) or one of the public parking lots also withimited options depending on the time and day of the week.“

“The visit to the North Hills Olive Garden Italian Restaurant was outstanding. Food was perfectly done, and the service provided by Megan was great!!!!! It was the perfect place to have a meal of comfort food on a raw cold rainy ? miserable late winter's Saturday night ?. The custom design your own pasta meal is a great feature of the Olive Gardens menu. The only downside item, and it's a minor one,was that there was not enough salad dressing for the salad bowl, and the salad dressing wasn't quite up to the taste standards that I have enjoyed in the past. For instance, the dressing at the Upper St. Clair location in Pittsburgh's south hills.Otherwise, it was a wonderful meal. And again, outstanding service.“

“Mama Rosa's is one of those places where you can either come with friends for a barn-burner of a night, or you can come dine on some outstanding Italian food with outstanding atmosphere! The food selection is plentiful, but not too outrageous. They have been a little short staffed lately, but the staff that is there is friendly, happy, outgoing, and prompt!A definite stop that I will go to time and again!“

“The regular plain pizza isn't bad, and I heard people really like their hoagies, but my high ratings all come from ICE CREAM AT CONE ZONE!! (Located within part of same business) they have chocolate, vanilla, and twist soft serve ice cream and they make sundaes, cones, cups, banana splits, milkshakes, a type of blizzard, and even more-- as well as toppings galore! My mom and I love coming down on her work lunch break to walk the puppy down and get a doggy sundae for her. The recently added on a seating area with picnic benches on the side of the building that does not face traffic and as of this week they now have a beautiful ice cream mural on the front of the building where you order through the window. We were so thankful whenever they decided to lengthen the hours that they were open for summer this year. There's absolutely nothing like a medium twist soft serve ice cream with rainbow sprinkles! These guys have got it down. ???Kid-friendliness: Pretty sure ice cream AKA cone zone is about as kid-friendly as it getsParking: Located in Allison Park plaza with much room for parking plus additional parking on side of building (Pasquale's/ cone zone is in a separate building from the strip but right next door)“

“Silvionis shut down so we were looking for a place that wasn’t the Olive Garden. After checking out the menu online we decided to check it out. Absolute sleeper. You could drive past this place and not even notice it. Our table had the steak hoagie, Italian sausage hoagie, fettuccine alfredo, and chicken with angel hair. The pasta is made fresh and is the read deal. Didn’t try the pizza but want to. Our group loved the food AND service, and we’ll be back!“

“We often order delivery from here and are always impressed with the quality of the food, the quantity, and the speed of delivery. Tonight it was chicken parmigiana with angel hair and a side salad with fried zucchini as an appetizer for me, while my dad did the build-your-own-pasta with gnocchi and carbanara (bacon, mushroom cream) sauce and caesar salad. They said it would be an hour and it was only 30 minutes. I don't know how the fried zucchini travels and still arrives crispy, but they do it, and it's awesome, large slices, very generous, like a whole zucchini, with crisp, though not too thick, breading. It does not include a dip, only lemon wedges, but I have ranch dressing here. The chicken parmigiana was two large breasts, breaded, moist, and smothered in sauce and cheese. The side salads are generous with a thick slice of cucumber, grape tomato, red onion, and lettuce (the caesar - not real authentic but good - with croutons, black olives, grape tomatoes, lettuce, and parm cheese). We are never disappointed and always have leftovers. The one time something was wrong with our order, they promptly came back with what was missing and gave us a credit. Try the focaccia pizzas for a week's worth of great food! Highly recommended!!!“
“It's a nice place, nice setting. Not a bad place to take a date; you can take the winery tour then have dinner. It's slightly upscale and priced accordingly but in a country way, not "fancy." I had salmon, it was nicely prepared, nothing spicy or exotic in any way, but it was fresh, moist, good serving size. It's a bit of a drive, about 40 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and a rather twisting route, I wouldn't want to try to get there at night without GPS.“

“I brought 7 grandchildren and my daughter to lunch. Our waitress ( not sure of her name) was so kind and efficient . The kids loved the bread sticks ! She kept up with their drinks, breadsticks and lunches. I had the past fagioli soup that tasted so good on a cold day. My daughter got a shrimp pasta dish. We took home chocolate lasagna! The food was delicious! Thank you for the good service!Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the breadsticks and lunch“

“We have been going to this restaurant since 2001. In 2001, they were already in business and had nailed down how to operate for 20 plus years. Food is always delicious and fresh and the atmosphere is comfortable and it’s great place to take the family.“

“My first job was in a pizza place and my pizzas were always good looking so ever since I worked there the very first thing I do is look at the pizza I ordered because for some reason when the pizza is sloppy looking I don't even wanna eat it! Lettopalenas is NEVER sloppy looking or jacked up! Their pizzas are sheer perfection! The food is very good and the workers are friendly too. The ONLY reason I didn't give a perfect rating was because the times are pretty long for both pick up and delivery-but hey, that just shows how busy they are and believe me when I say it's worth the wait!“

“Our high school class has met here a few times and really enjoyed our visit. We were allowed to bring our own dessert. There is no plate charge. It was a Christmas party and we had a private area with lots of room for our gifts and dessert. The area was private, though still a part of the eating area. When reservations were made each time, someone would get back to us in a timely manner. And once I had to change the date the manager was so nice about the change. Will probably go back again. I always leave Monte Cellas with a good feeling.Parking: No problemWheelchair accessibility: Don't need a wheelchair but the parking lot is level, no pot holes. But the entrance doors are quite heavy. Could use an automatic door opener for senior clients.“

“I arranged a funeral luncheon on behalf of a family member. With two days notice, Domenico's provided a comfortable private room & excellent food. They were very helpful with making selections and estimating the head count. On the day of the luncheon, the server & manager were attentive and accommodating. Everything (food, service, atmosphere) was above average & I deeply appreciated that.“

Great music playing!I would highly recommend this establishment!“

“Would have given 5 stars except we asked for a plastic container for our leftovers, and we were given a little paper box. we were told they were not permitted to give out the plastic boxes unless the portion size was bigger. One of our dinners would have definitely required a plastic container. It's just a cheap way to treat your customer especially one who goes there quite often.“

“First time there, was surprised how spacious it was, and was confused as to where the front door was haha went in through the bar I guess haha. Ample parking and seating. Food was AWESOME ?? the cheesy garlic bread… and the Alfredo ????? pizza was very good, but very greasy. It was a hand tossed crust, thinner and a good amount of sauce :) it was great! Probably a few pounds fatter now but I think that’s a good thing if judging by a food establishment ?Vegetarian options: Pasta and pizza and Bread and Salad hahahaParking: Big lot.Kid-friendliness: Not a playground haha but they had good food kids love! Service was pretty quick and kids never got impatient during the wait.“
