“Had high expectations for this place but the food just wasn’t that great :/ I ate solo and even tried to fit in 3 dishes but neither of them really hit. Pierogi were nicely crisped on the outside but the romesco-like sauce on the bottom made the dish more on the acidic side, especially since there was already pickled relish on top, and I found myself wishing for more fat or sweetness. I actually used ricotta that came with bread and it tasted much better with it. Lobster roll filling was excellent but I wished they’d actually toasted the bread on the inside and not on the outside. Eating soft white bread of which there was a lot just didn’t feel great. Finally, the skate had good flavor and shishitos were a cute touch but the fish was severely undersalted (it’s a thick fillet) and the sauce on the bottom was, again, mostly acidic and didn’t help much.

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”

The food was done in minutes and when I went to check out he told me to put my money away the first one is on the house. There aren’t to many businesses like this one in this day and age. “I recommend this restaurant for any day of the week sometimes on Saturdays and Sundays. It gets a little bit busy but they take you so fast. Food is just so delicious and it’s not that they rushed the food out. The cooks are just so great that they can handle everyone coming in. I’ve had to wait maybe 10 minutes on a Sunday because of church But I highly recommend it to people are so friendly there and like I said they’re fast and delicious. Please try it you really will miss something if you don’t.”

“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. I would strongly recommend this location for really first rate Italian food and a great atmosphere”
