“We visited Rizzle’s Roadhouse for the first time today! It is half bar and half restaurant so we expected the typical bar food. WHAT A SURPRISE! THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! There were four of us and we all agree and will go back even though we live an hour away. We had grilled chicken mahi-mahi, ribs and steak - all excellent! You won’t be disappointed!“

“What an accommodating business. We gave the wonderful people a 4 hour notice that we had a table of 12, and they made everything happen. The food was fantastic, and the wait staff did a great job. The pasta, buger, pizza, pasta, and appetizers were all very good. Jeff is a fantastic owner, and the community is lucky to have this unique establishment.“

“We ran across Vesta 88 at the Greene County Harvest Festival in Waynesburg Pa. Met Brian there and had to try the delicious smelling food. After enjoying an Italian sausage baguette at the festival, and seeing what a great guy Brian was, my wife and I had to try the restaurant. First noted, was how clean and inviting it was. The wait staff couldn’t have been nicer and more attentive. We just bought dishes off of the appetizer menu because it was early and we hadn’t brought our appetite. I had the stuffed mushrooms and poutine. Remember I said I wasn’t hungry ?. Both dishes were fresh, hot and delicious. The seafood stuffing in the mushrooms was one of the best I’d ever had. My wife had the flatbread. It was delicious. Fresh and homemade tasting. We can’t wait to go back and try the blackened ribeye or lasagna. It’s worth a trip if you’re not local. Finding great food at a reasonable cost is so challenging. We’ll definitely be back soon.“

Observed the bar/grill was empty except for the two very nice ladies on duty.Sat down at the bar.Observed the food specials we’re vegetable beef soup or three taco’s and chipsI ordered the three taco’sThe taco’s were delivered quickly covered in cheese, salsa and all those good taco seasoningsWant to give a shout out to Kim the very nice employee who served me.Her customer service is excellentBefore l left I got a copy of the menu. They have a wide selection of foods and reasonable pricesI definitely recommend a visit to Kloc’s Tavern when in the Fairchance area.“

“Red Star is a small town bar that has been around since I was a kid, the owner (Serb) is a wonderful man who contributes to the community and is Highly respected in this Area, if anyone has had any problems here then it was your own doing, they are not rude and welcome everyone who walks in the door. If you did have a problem and didn't speak to the owner about it then shame on you, he would have handled the situation. Red Star is a bar to sit down and listen to the old timers talk about the old days, have a drink and yes, smoke a cigarette. We are a small coal mining town who still love the good old fashioned ways of life.“

It is impossible to find another location in town that comes close to approaching the quality of food in the first place, but the sheer variety of food means that you will always be coming back for more.... and just when you think you know the whole menu, seasons change and they bring in even more goodies. UBC has been my first choice for a nice dinner for years now and I can't see them losing that spot anytime soon. Top marks.“

And just when your first bite of the burger has sent you to heaven you pick up a FRY and WHAM!, you are right back in heaven again! Crunchy Fries. Hot fries. Salted fries. Fries with a little brown: ITS ALL IN THERE! A great mix of all kinds. WOW, did they nail this where so many fail. We hit this place on a Thursday at 1:00 specifically looking for a burger and they KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! My Wife and I both had a burger and fries which was the thursday lunch special for $6.50!!!! I had a half and half tea and she had an incredibly refreshing fountain coke. I think with tip were were out of there for a little over $20. Finding either the perfect medium cooked burger or the perfect batch of fries is rare enough but DAMN!, when you find them together, you have hit on something. Look UNIONTOWN, forget fast food for Thursday lunch! Get your butts in here and keep this great local business going. I live 150 miles away and I will be back.
