“Used the drive thru, and had a really easy time finding vegetarian options! I got the black bean Crunchwrap supreme and the black bean burrito. When I pulled around to the window, the kid was super nice, but I could see the entire team goofing off and throwing things at each other. I will say that as I was getting my food, I asked to add on a tea, and the employee just gave it to me for free, which was so sweet. I was surprised because the food was actually pretty good! Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap, filling, and quick meal!

Vegetarian options: Only thing they don’t have in a vegetarian black bean option is the tacos it seems! Really happy to find some quick junk food that is vegetarian friendly!“

Restaurants struggle, people struggle but they're human and through everything they had amazing positive energy.

“We frequent this place often - great food, good vibes, and fast service. There is plenty of seating at the bar and the tables at both the front and back of the restaurant. Never had nopal (cactus) before? Give it a try - it’s delicious! And if you like some heat, the homemade salsa that comes with the tacos is fire - literally! Just wash it down with a margarita or mezcal cocktail. You can’t go wrong here.“

“My wife and I made a stop here while passing through Dormont, PA and it was a great little breakfast find. The place has a warm, rustic vibe, and our waitress was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Sparkie’s Omelette—which comes with kielbasa, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut—and while it may sound like an odd combo, it was on point. Paired with home fries and wheat toast, everything hit the spot. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and good service.....can’t ask for more from a diner breakfast.“

“Second time eating at this gem, bringing the family along. I had the tikka masala, and family had red curry, chicken quesadilla and Hawaiian stir fry. The flavors were SO delicious and everyone loved their meals. It's great they offer vegetarian protein choices and substitutes. Owners are super friendly. We can't wait to come back again!“

“Amazing family owned mexican joint. They are open early and never disappoint. I've eaten my way through most of the menu and have ordered things I didn't know what they were and I myself could not pronounce, each item has always been delicious and made with love. The food is always fresh and served with a smile. It's authentic and in my opinion some of the best tacos you can get in the area ( and there are a ton of taco places near by, this is by far my favorite).
Gordita and chiliquiles are also some of my favorites here. Fully stocked fridge with every flavor of jaritos, mineragua, as well as some house made drinks. They have a handful of indoor seats as well as a patio with tables and chairs for the warmer months. Always hits!!!“

“While in Pittsburgh for a conference, I came across this place with the groups of ladies I was with. The food was AMAZING!!! I have been dreaming of the roasted carrot taco ever since! My husband asked to plan a trip to Pittsburgh next year for the NFL draft- I only agreed because he promised me we could eat at this restaurant! Looking forward to that a year from now!!!“

“Esquina Cantina is inside the historic Round Corner Hotel and Bar building. My husband and I ate one meal on their outdoor patio. Our waiter made a couple of mistakes but corrected them. We really liked our guacamole, tostadas, quesadilla, beans, rice, and non-alcoholic drink. The tacos had excellent tortillas, but my husband did not like the carne-asada meat.“

“I visited this place on a therapeutic shopping outing and it was a hit. You could taste the authentic flavors, quality and preparation that was put into it. The staff and owner were so hospitable and very attentive and informative. I will definitely be back soon and even utilizing the catering options for my family events and when possible with my team. I was so mesmerized with the experience I didn’t take the best pictures.“

My only issue with it is the portion size. I’m a fairly average size girl and it fills me up, but it would be great to have leftovers! The food only fills about half of the bowl and doesn’t reflect the photos from their website.
As for the pick up it was super easy to do, just click the link and open the locker! It also was made super fast, the food was ready before I got to the pick up location and I had only left about 10 minutes earlier.
Other than the portion sizes I’m super happy about the quality of food, I’d eat here over chipotle any day of the week.“

“Wonderful Central American restaurant. We had pupusas that were super rico. Perfectly made and comparable to in other cities. Comes with great curtido (lightly pickled spicy cabbage) of course, and nice horchata. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic affordable and friendly Salvadoran place in the PGH area! Must visit and is conveniently on the red line of the T light rail so very easy to visit from downtown. “Went for brunch and had the Huevos Divorciados - probably the best brunch of my life. I could probably eat here every day - such a cute place and nice people. The churros are fantastic!“

“It can be a bit dirty some times, tables not getting cleaned fast enough, trash cans full.... BUT I would like to point out that this is at very very busy/rush times and it makes sense that the staff is busy with the flow of customers coming and going and so the tables simultaneously getting used and trash is getting full at a fast rate. I only mention this because it can be off-putting, but it is understandable and it's NOT horrible.“

“For many years I have gone to Patron’s with family and friends. But this review is specific to my latest experience with them. My husband was celebrating his 50th birthday and we decided to do catering through them. My expectations weren’t only met but exceeded substantially! Everything was delicious as usual—we ordered mixed fajitas, choripollo, rice and beans, chips and queso. I did a pickup order and everything was labeled and packaged well for quick set up. They played birthday song for someone else and notice we sang and were wishing happy birthday to someone at our table. Boom they brought the hat, a dessert and played the music again for us. “I got chilaquiles the other day, I think it’ll be better if you use the tortillas or the tortilla soup for the chilaquiles, the salsa was sweet, the beans super watery and the rice was so salty I couldn’t eat them. On the other hand I’ve had the veggie tacos and they are very good but I’ve found pieces of ground beef which was very unpleasant but I’d be willing to try them again“

“We had täkō last night in Pittsburgh for the first time and it was SO GOOD! They had their Spookeasy pop up Halloween bar and the set up was so cool, it was pretty packed with it being Halloween weekend but it was such a cool atmosphere! We ended up getting seats at the bar and the two bartenders were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with deciding what drinks we wanted to try! The tacos.....the octopus is the BEST, chorizo was second best for me. Pictures aren't the greatest, but it's the best I got. Definitely a great time if you're feeling fancy 🍶 It's not cheap, but I'd say definitely worth it for the food, drinks, staff and just the atmosphere of it all.“
