“Super good!!! I called to see if they did cash delivery because I only had cash one day but they only do DoorDash. Man definitely moneys worth! I did the DoorDash. I had shrimp fried rice with chicken wings it was HEAVEN!! however it wasn’t much shrimp. I counted 7 shrimp exactly. So the second time I ordered the chicken wings I got just the fried rice instead because I didn’t want to be disappointed with the amount of shrimp. Birh very good and fresh! The wings are 10000/10 this is now my new favorite go to Chinese spot in Pittsburgh. Chiefs kiss“

“Chinatown Inn last standing Chinese restaurant in Pittsburgh Chinatown. When you walk in it has an Asian feel I remember when I was young with the leather booths, the color red throughout the restaurant and fish tanks. Staff was very nice and outfit in old Asian attire. We first try the Chinatown Pu Pu Platter and dumpling to try out the different appetizers. Our entree were Beef with Broccoli, the Happy Gathering, the House Special Duck and the Salt and Pepper fish. The food was decent but I found it was made more for non Chinese than actual Chinese. Totally understandable since we were the only Chinese outside of the staff in the restaurant and they probably don’t get that many actual Chinese in the restaurant. But it was still a good experience.“

“Our group of 10 hungry cyclists had a great meal here. The rice noodles and shrimp with pea pods were my favorite. What a find and a nice change of pace from other available dining options on then GAP. Residents of West Newton are lucky to have this in their midst! Although it is mostly a take out restaurant, our group of 10 enjoyed eating around a long table.
Vegetarian options: Steamed mixed veggies, several tofu dishes w veggies, rice noodles with veggies etc
Kid-friendliness: Toys and play area“

“This Chinese food restaurant is primarily a take-out shop. The food is made fresh, so it is hot and tasty. The General Tso's chicken is tasty but not too hot. The portions are good, and the pricing is appropriate. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant.“

“This review is far fetched and I say this because this restaurant has been a favorite of mine for years and although I have not been here for a while I believe it when the reviews show how good they are and I just want to say that, that’s just outstanding family run business and I hope their children are helping keep their business going.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s easy to roll in and out with wheelchairs and strollers“

“Love this place. It's one of those lil hole in the wall type spots. Their lunch specials are unbeatable, under $8 for a full meal. The food is all cooked fresh and really good. The place is clean and staff are super friendly. Highly recommend!“

“I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken and Hot n Sour soup. The food was very good. The General Tso’s was actually spicy and not overly sweet and the soup was spicy and very good. They actually give you crispy noodles with the soup. I had the lunch portion and was very impressed. Another best kept secret.I highly recommend Zhen Choo.“

“Stopped here for lunch after getting blood work next door. I really enjoyed the food. The wonton soup was delicious, and there was enough general tsao chicken for me to take home. And the spring roll was nice and crispy. I should have ordered two.
My waitress wasn't exactly rude, just quiet and standoffish. I won't hold it against her because maybe it was a bad morning.
I'm just glad I got to eat some crab ragoons.“

“My husband and I took our son out for some good food and when I tell you this restaurant understood the assignment they totally get an A+! We ordered the Singapore noodle combination, egg soup, Rangoon, shrimp egg rolls, beef and broccoli with fried rice and sweet and sour chicken with steamed white rice. The shrimp egg rolls are good just don’t count the shrimp (haha) but still it was delicious! The server was on point the chef made our dinner with care the staff was just amazing we also ate inside at a clean table covered with white linen. Everything was just perfect this place is a hidden gem I’m so glad we found I literally want to eat dinner there again tonight! Family of 3 full meals with 2 adult Long Island drinks $98 well worth every dollar!“

“Taipei is by far the best sushi and Chinese restaurant in the Fox Chapel area. The servers are courteous and the specialty sushi rolls are noticeabley larger and tastier than Jimmy Wan's. In my opinion, Taipei also offers a better selection than Jimmy Wan's. We also appreciate Taipei's complimentary fried wontons served before each meal and orange slices provided at the end of service. This family-friendly restaurant always make us feel at home.“

“People come here for dumplings, but their braised pork rice is seriously underrated. Tender pork, rich sauce, and perfectly cooked rice. Also had the fried eggplant, which was crispy outside and soft inside. Definitely more to this place than just dumplings.“

“Food is so good and reasonably priced. They have a menu of adventurous Chinese food and American Chinese food so you can come for the fun but bring your aunt that only eats fried rice.“

“As someone who grew up outside of NYC, I am very particular about Chinese take out. No. 1 Chinese Kitchen in the Penn Hills neighborhood of Pittsburgh is a solid 9/10. Egg rolls were crispy and delicious. The soups are outstanding (tried egg drop & hot and sour) and the dumplings are on par with an absolutely outstanding garlic dipping sauce. Entrees are very good, but I've only tried two - egg foo young and sesame chicken. Egg foo young is on par with NYC - will definitely get again!! Sesame chicken is a touch too sweet, but I prefer more savory over sweet dishes. Will definitely get take out from them again!!“

“I never leave reviews, but I love their food here. Service is fast, food is great and reasonably priced. They always have utensils and sauce in the bag. Just had their small egg drop soup and an egg roll for lunch. The soup was excellent!! Came with the fried noodles. The vegetable egg roll was crispy and filling!!! It also had the sauce packets with it. I've been going here off and on since they opened and have never been disappointed. It's way better than fast food and it's consistently good. Actually, over the years it has gotten better!!!!!“

“Terrible service, terrible food. Don't eat here.
Edit: I'm editing this review to 5 stars. Originally, I reviewed this location when it was called iNoodle. Thankfully, that place has closed down. Since there's a new restaurant owner, I believe it's fair to remove my previous 1-star review.“

“Sushi was pretty good, best egg Rolls, and wonton soup was great. Lemon chicken had the best lemon sauce I've ever had probably though chicken was a little too thin/dry but breading was good. If the chicken was a little thicker it would have been the perfect consistency.
The general tsos chicken was very overcooked and chewy, and moo goo gai pan was somewhat bland (though the dish usually kinda is anywhere) with too much corn starch making it gloopy rather than saucy, but everything in that dish was cooked perfectly.
They have a nice big menu with decent prices except for a few of their special dishes. They are known to be gluten free friendly. Ate twice and bf had no issues.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly
Parking: Very friendly service. Atmosphere is nice and comfy and service is fast.“
“Honestly, I don't know how I ended up here but it was delish and the people were very nice. It's a small place and we made a reservation about an hour before showing up. I am a pretty routine kind of girl and I got the Kung Pao Shrimp and it was spicy! I don't believe in too spicy so I appreciated it.
Every bite was delish. The portion size was large and could probably feed another me. I have no idea what my boyfriend ordered but he ordered an entire fish and it came with a glove, Their crab rangons might be the best that I've had in the city. I can't wait
to check this place out again.“
“I eat this often while at CMU—it’s my go-to. The mouthwatering chicken is super flavorful with the perfect kick. The lunch boxes are great, with good portions and satisfying taste. Definitely one of the best Sichuan takeout spots around.“

“The most delicious combination fried rice I’ve ever had at a local Chinese takeout restaurant. Made with deliciously moist and tender beef, chicken and shrimp, shallots, onions, peas, and carrots. And it’s a hefty amount. Definitely set at a great price for the amount of food you get. Whenever I can I always order this. Must try.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to get any even though I absolutely love it, since I’m having to pay for funeral expenses. But as soon as I can afford it I will be back for more!“

“I was drawn in because they were still open when other places closed for the night. My first time here. The food was great and the rice was fresh and tasty! Big props because competition often has their rice hard. I was nervous trying a new place, though I am happy I did, the food was a great flavor and a great dinner. Thank you!“

“A pretty typical Chinese food place. The food is good and fairly priced- you even get the egg roll with your meal. The restaurant is a little dimly lit and no one greeted me when I walked in. But, when someone was able to come she was very polite and quick to get me taken care of. We will be getting more food from here for sure.“

“Amazing hot pot! This was my first time trying something like this and it was delicious. We had the tom yum and curry hotpot. It came with veggie, meat/fish sides that you cook in the broth. Kind of like an Asian fondue!
Their boba is ok, but the food is excellent and hit the spot on a cold rainy night!“

“this food used to be really good! now it is touch and go. i ordered crab ragoons again. they have been iffy. they only had cream cheese in them. no other seasoning. i called and she said she would let him know and thank you for calling. we used to order here once a week. now maybe every 3 or 4 months. very inconsistent with the quality.“

“It wasn't the biggest buffet ever, but had great options. Plenty of chicken and shrimp options. Great things for the kids too. Lots of desserts from fruit and jello to pastries and ice cream cups.
Kid-friendliness: There were lots of options for kids including mac and cheese and sweet and sour chicken.
Wheelchair accessibility: It was tight in the restaurant around the seating for walkers. But definitely doable.“

“This is the best Chinese place I have ever been to, and I'm particular about my Chinese food. Their mushu is the best I have ever tasted, and they give you the good thin rice pancakes not tortillas like some places do. They also give two free egg rolls if you order more than $15, and their egg rolls are some of the best I've ever tasted. The food is cooked fast, and the prices are reasonable.“

“Today was very crowded, as expected, since it was Mother's Day. There was a "special" menu today for a slightly higher fee ($22), but it was to include Crab Legs that they rarely have. I go there 1-2 times/month. I was a bit skeptical about the quality and replenishment of the Crab Legs. Oh, my!!! They were fantastic and constantly replenished. This was fantastic! Thank You.. was much appreciated!“

“Well was going to eat in but dining room closed due to staff shortage - well that's what sign said. Ordered to go sweet n sour chicken, extra sauce and included white rice. Didn't understand what silverware was, maybe my mistake for not saying utensils. Said 10 - 15 minutes. I think it was 5. Super hot chicken. Sauce was good. But rice tasted like it was made days ago and reheated. But it was just white rice.“

“I was hungry after school and decided to take my boyfriend out to eat. We both loved it!! But the only knit pick was the flavor that it needed, but it was overall good, nice, and hot. We made sure to tip the owner after we left. The food was overall good, but it needed flavor.“

“My fiancee got the Beef Chop Suey, Steamed Rice and a Spring Roll. He loved every bit of it. I ordered the Lunch Special of General Tso's Chicken not spicy I liked it but there could have been more Peas and Carrots in the fried Rice and I also wish it came with more General Tso's Sauce for my Rice. Otherwise we will order again. Thank you😀😀👍👍“
