“We had a fantastic dinner at this P.F. Chang’s. I had a reservation but otherwise plenty of seating available on a Friday night. We ordered the half-order lettuce wrap appetizer, we each had the Chang’s spicy chicken entree with side of rice, then finally for dessert we ordered the butter cake. We each had 2 cocktails, the lychee and the lemon drop martini. All was delicious with nice presentation. The staff was extremely friendly. Nate “bald” was a great server and took very good care of us. The manager another “bald” lol also checked on us more than once and brought waters out to us. Definitely would go back!“

“Super affordable, old-school Chinese American cuisine. The egg foo young gravy was excellent and the egg patties were perfectly fried. I almost lived above it once, but realized they would get most of my paycheck on Sundays bc I'd want to get some takeout for my homeless friends next door! 🙂↕️ If you like the most classic Chinese food, check this place out. It even has the retro menu boards, which is always a sign it's gonna be good food.“
“We eat Chinese food pretty frequently but this is some of the best fried rice we have ever had. The staff is very kind and helpful and the atmosphere is a mix of modern and traditional decor. Combined with the great service and excellent food this is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in Pittsburgh.“

“Taipei is by far the best sushi and Chinese restaurant in the Fox Chapel area. The servers are courteous and the specialty sushi rolls are noticeabley larger and tastier than Jimmy Wan's. In my opinion, Taipei also offers a better selection than Jimmy Wan's. We also appreciate Taipei's complimentary fried wontons served before each meal and orange slices provided at the end of service. This family-friendly restaurant always make us feel at home.“

“As an avid chinese food fan whos tried all the spots in and near the mon valley, I can safely say this new spot is definitely the best! The portions are always big, the pieces of chicken are all consistently huge and and tasty, no small little shrimp sized pieces and no nasty cartilage/fat bits in the chicken, the crab rangoons are delicious and the eggrolls are great too! The staff are always super friendly and the spot feels comfy and looks very clean. Dont waste your time and money at other sub par and over priced spots and give this place a try next time youre on the area!“

“I went to a movie at Rowhouse that had catering from this restaurant, and OH MY GOD! It was so good. We just ate this for dinner on Christmas and I'm going to have it for the next three days, the portions are so big and the food is WONDERFUL. I cannot recommend the Cumin Lamb/Beef enough. So good. Thank you for making our Christmas excellent.“

“This Chinese food restaurant is primarily a take-out shop. The food is made fresh, so it is hot and tasty. The General Tso's chicken is tasty but not too hot. The portions are good, and the pricing is appropriate. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant.“

“I ordered the spicy spider maki hand roll from uber eats. I never make google reviews. I had to come on here and say how fresh and delightfully tasting it was. The fried rice and miso soup is really good. I haven’t had fried rice that tasted well in a while from Uber eats in Pittsburgh.“

“So….. I ate here only a couple of times. Today I brought my wife. My wife was blown away! This food is so good! They take care not to use a lot of sodium and the food taste really fresh and health, not overly greasy. It’s really good I’m honestly surprised. That veggie fried rice is my favorite right now. Give it a try!!!“

“Love this place. It's one of those lil hole in the wall type spots. Their lunch specials are unbeatable, under $8 for a full meal. The food is all cooked fresh and really good. The place is clean and staff are super friendly. Highly recommend!“

“I tried the buffet, and it was okay overall. The price matches the quality, everything is fairly average. They offer chicken, beef, and vegetables, and out of all the dishes, I liked the Tsao chicken the most. The soup was quite good, and the noodles were fine as well. The fried chicken was a bit dry during my visit.“

“I recently visited this Chinese café-restaurant, and I was really impressed! Their wonton soup and hot and sour soup are absolutely delicious—rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. The dish in the photo is orange chicken, which was incredibly tasty, especially with brown rice. Every bite was full of flavor, and the texture was just right.
Another great thing about this place is that they have an electric charging station, so for some people, it’s a great way to do two things at once—enjoy a delicious meal while charging their car. Overall, this place serves amazing food, and I highly recommend it.“

“A pretty typical Chinese food place. The food is good and fairly priced- you even get the egg roll with your meal. The restaurant is a little dimly lit and no one greeted me when I walked in. But, when someone was able to come she was very polite and quick to get me taken care of. We will be getting more food from here for sure.“

“The food here is consistently good and always fresh, which keeps me coming back despite a few issues. The flavors are on point and you can tell they're not cutting corners on quality. However, there are some things that hold this place back from being perfect. They struggle with special requests - even simple ones like extra sauce packets or utensils often get missed or ignored. Also, heads up that when you order egg rolls, you're only getting one (though to be fair, it's absolutely huge). I wish they made this clearer when ordering since most places give you multiple smaller ones. The pricing is on the higher side, but honestly, Chinese food has always been a bit pricier and with how expensive everything is these days, it's not unexpected. My main gripe is that everything only comes in one size - it would be nice to have options for smaller portions or larger family-style servings.Despite these issues, the quality of the food keeps me coming back. If they could just pay more attention to special requests and maybe offer size options, this would easily be a 5-star spot. Still recommend it if you're craving good, fresh Chinese food and don't mind paying a bit more for quality“

“The best General Tso's Tofu in PGH that I've found, and I'm pretty particular. I'm so sad that I no longer live super close to this place. I've never had a bad experience with their food or the people there; they've always been very kind.“
“Terrible service, terrible food. Don't eat here.
Edit: I'm editing this review to 5 stars. Originally, I reviewed this location when it was called iNoodle. Thankfully, that place has closed down. Since there's a new restaurant owner, I believe it's fair to remove my previous 1-star review.“

“I really don’t understand the negative reviews at this restaurant. My daughter and I have been ordering from here for years and we’ve also been inside the restaurant to eat many times and we’ve never had a problem. Their food is very good. It’s always hot when we get it And it tastes fresh to us. I was very happy to hear the buffet was back and it’s just as good as it always was. I wouldn’t hesitate to go eat there again. We eat there a couple of times a month.“

“Ordered their General Tso’s (white meat) and it was hands down the best General Tso’s I’ve ever had. I had their chicken and broccoli before, which was also sooo good, but this was definitely a pleasant surprise. Will definitely be ordering here more in the future!“
“This place is hilarious. From my understanding the store is closed and they self-doordash to CMU.
You order by texting them on wechat from the couple options they have and they drive down to CMU everyday and meet you on campus in tepper to hand over your food like uberats.
My meal was 12 dollars for a tea, pork ribs, bok choy, shrimp, scrambled eggs and tomatoes and rice. It was delicious and incredibly cheap proportional to volume of food
10/10 would meet in the Tepper School of business alley again“

“I can't say enough good things about this location, the food is always hot, fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming, the women taking the orders and answering the phone are always nice and courteous. I've been ordering their food for 6 years now and I have never had 1 issue. I weekly get the general sto's and never get tired of it. Prices are very reasonable to. All in all this is hands down the best chinese in the pittsburgh area.“

“I was drawn in because they were still open when other places closed for the night. My first time here. The food was great and the rice was fresh and tasty! Big props because competition often has their rice hard. I was nervous trying a new place, though I am happy I did, the food was a great flavor and a great dinner. Thank you!“

“I was just hungry and didn’t feel like having fried food again. Stopped here for some beef and broccoli. When she told me the food was only 11 dollars I was thinking I made a mistake. Either the food was gonna be really bad or not enough, leaving me still hungry. Boy was I wrong. Delicious and more than enough. Thank you I will be back here for lunch again!“

“Amazing food, generous portions, kind staff. Loved the atmosphere, lighting fixtures and art work on the wall
If you get pad Thai and you like a lot of peanuts and lime ask for extra when ordering.
Downside is it was pricier than I expected. Two teas and two noodle dishes with an app and one dessert split was almost 80 dollars. But if I have the money I would go again in the future. I guess 35ish a person isn't bad in a higher end establishment. Glad I stopped in.“

“Needed a place to eat and they were open.. both a plus, was surprised at the quantity of items. Out of the 8 things I tried, 1 was not the best… but what do you expect, bbq can’t be done by everyone.. the others were top notch. The sweet n sour is how it should be.“

“It wasn't the biggest buffet ever, but had great options. Plenty of chicken and shrimp options. Great things for the kids too. Lots of desserts from fruit and jello to pastries and ice cream cups.
Kid-friendliness: There were lots of options for kids including mac and cheese and sweet and sour chicken.
Wheelchair accessibility: It was tight in the restaurant around the seating for walkers. But definitely doable.“

“Today was very crowded, as expected, since it was Mother's Day. There was a "special" menu today for a slightly higher fee ($22), but it was to include Crab Legs that they rarely have. I go there 1-2 times/month. I was a bit skeptical about the quality and replenishment of the Crab Legs. Oh, my!!! They were fantastic and constantly replenished. This was fantastic! Thank You.. was much appreciated!“

“I was hungry after school and decided to take my boyfriend out to eat. We both loved it!! But the only knit pick was the flavor that it needed, but it was overall good, nice, and hot. We made sure to tip the owner after we left. The food was overall good, but it needed flavor.“

“I don’t understand the low rating for this restaurant. I live in the area and this is my go to for takeout Chinese food. I usually get the chicken and garlic sauce, steamed dumplings, or beef lo mein. I’ve never ordered something I didn’t like. The portions are very generous and their prices are very reasonable.“

“China Jade has great food and friendly staff! Prices are comparable to other restaurants. You cannnot dine in their building anymore, it is take out only. But they will happily allow you to have a seat inside while you wait for your order if you'd like. You won't be waiting long as they are very fast at prepping the orders. Great place. Have been going here for years and will continue!“
