My husband and I travel all over the country, mainly seeking out destination restaurants and let me tell you the food here is on par with that of the some most prestigious places across the country. My husband said he would rate the ribeye in his top five EVER! Other dishes are creative and delicious as well. Very cool atmosphere, makes you forget you are in Washington while you are dining. I will mention service could have been much more polished to match the food and ambiance. The majority of our question about the dishes where met with an “I’m not sure” from our server. Not really acceptable to not know the menu frontward and backwards when trying to deliver a fine dining experience. However the quality of the food and cocktails helped us over look the lack luster service. So ecstatic that this restaurant is in our neighborhood. Blows away ANYTHING Pittsburgh has to offer! We will return soon!“

“This was our first time here and the breakfast/lunch bar was open. it was phenominal. great quality of food, tons of choices in buffet style containers to keep it hot. Everything from made to order omlettes, waffles, sausage, salad, pot roast, mashed potatoes, tender breakfast potatoes. my husband said it was the best omlette he has ever had. he had the Irish Omlette. Add venison to the menu
It’s a log cabin style restaurant when you walk in
Pennsylvania has a deer problem so during hunting season add venison to the menu
The menu is off the charts there’s a lot to choose from
We have a lot of hunters in south western Pa so a game menu would be good
A rabbit rattlesnake appetizer would be great

The food came out quickly and it looked and tasted really good, I enjoyed my sandwich. But the star of my experience - dessert. The bun was warm and very fresh and the ice cream was soft. On my last visit, I was most pleased with how the staff worked with a cranky guest at the table next to me. This man complained that the food was too cold and the plate was too hot and asked for the food to be sent back, but the server put him in his place with a sassy comeback. He then stormed out of the restaurant. The server didn’t seem too upset because both this man and his companion were annoying, the latter for talking on and on about unimportant topics such as her recent travels.“

“Stopped at this Eat 'n Park the other day. Delicious soup and chili. Salad bar was clean and fully stacked. The restaurant was nice and clean. I know this can be hard during busy hours. We got the salad bar and fish sandwiches, so good! Our waitress was good and very nice.“
