“I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. Coming in as a first timer there, I expected “first timer treatment” (you know how it can be when you’re not an established “regular”) but instead was greeted with enthusiasm, kindness and an eagerness to deliver fantastic service! The venue is clean and beautiful from the huge big screen TVs, to the high-tech bar with built in wireless chargers all the way to the cleanliness and overall appearance of the bathroom. Everything is clean and new, and there is a ton of space and a lot of bar seating! All of the staff members were fun, polite and extremely vigilant in providing top-notch diligent service, and all of our food was incredible too! Thank you so much to Heather and Britain for a wonderful first time experience! This place is awesome!“

You've found it...at the R BAR... 5 mins. from downtown(avoid rush hour) The owner is a semi-retired musician..and his wife besides being a "Hottie" LOL..Is the salt of the earth...If you make it there on Sundays..You'll find one of the best"Bloody Mary's" around...and a 6 piece band called "The Midnight Horns" who all lead their own bands doing the week,but come together at the R BAR to roar..(Jazz,R@B,Blues)..I must also mention 2 of the best bartenders around..Toni and Billy.will treat you like family...So why not give the R BAR 5 stars? Only because of it's size,and no food..however a Pizza parlor opened next door with a wide variety of treats...good enough to feed those Boilermakers..from the R BAR...“

“Had to give The Lab five stars due to the absolutely out of this world food! My husband and I travel all over the country, mainly seeking out destination restaurants and let me tell you the food here is on par with that of the some most prestigious places across the country. My husband said he would rate the ribeye in his top five EVER! Other dishes are creative and delicious as well. Very cool atmosphere, makes you forget you are in Washington while you are dining. I will mention service could have been much more polished to match the food and ambiance. The majority of our question about the dishes where met with an “I’m not sure” from our server. Not really acceptable to not know the menu frontward and backwards when trying to deliver a fine dining experience. However the quality of the food and cocktails helped us over look the lack luster service. So ecstatic that this restaurant is in our neighborhood. Blows away ANYTHING Pittsburgh has to offer! “I got the medium rare filet and I couldn’t believe how juicy it was. Best steak in Pittsburgh hands down. The trans Siberian orchestra’s rendition of bach’s brandeburg concertos was the cherry on top of my wonderful experience. My seat was next to Kendrick Lamar and he was equally impressed with the experience. My friend Aubrey Graham complained that the crowd was too old for his taste but I disagree.“

“Albert's is one of the few places with karaoke in Dormont (first Friday night of the month). That being said, the room they do it in is small. Very packed, only one door, and it gets very loud, quick. Wish they'd have it in the larger area. Karaoke night tends to peak fast and clear out even faster, right around midnight, which is strange.
