“Good Food, Awesome Staff, the amount of pictures of the owner was a touch I found odd, and something called "CumbBurger" had me laughing.Extra star given to offset Karen's one star because she brought in a party of 8 when they were already busy.This place is small, I would never try to bring more than 6 people at once, even then you would need 2 tables.Cumb, you seem like a fun guy, maybe even fun enough to bring in more business by just being there to talk to, but it kind of felt like a museum dedicated to your accomplishments.Keep living life to the max, I'd definitely come back.“

You've found it...at the R BAR... 5 mins. from downtown(avoid rush hour) The owner is a semi-retired musician..and his wife besides being a "Hottie" LOL..Is the salt of the earth...If you make it there on Sundays..You'll find one of the best"Bloody Mary's" around...and a 6 piece band called "The Midnight Horns" who all lead their own bands doing the week,but come together at the R BAR to roar..(Jazz,R@B,Blues)..I must also mention 2 of the best bartenders around..Toni and Billy.will treat you like family...So why not give the R BAR 5 stars? Only because of it's size,and no food..however a Pizza parlor opened next door with a wide variety of treats...good enough to feed those Boilermakers..from the R BAR...“

Coming in as a first timer there, I expected “first timer treatment” (you know how it can be when you’re not an established “regular”) but instead was greeted with enthusiasm, kindness and an eagerness to deliver fantastic service! The venue is clean and beautiful from the huge big screen TVs, to the high-tech bar with built in wireless chargers all the way to the cleanliness and overall appearance of the bathroom. Everything is clean and new, and there is a ton of space and a lot of bar seating! All of the staff members were fun, polite and extremely vigilant in providing top-notch diligent service, and all of our food was incredible too! “The soups are amazing. Tonight is one of my favorites Swedish meatball her wedding soup is amazing tortilla soup and crab bisque also. Omgoodness they are all amazing. We love Italian day. “This is by far my favorite bar in Pittsburgh. If you love an old school dive bar vibe this is your place! And if you like a new school vibe they just opened up another spot right next door that has live music and the vibes are great! “Been to Parlay more than a few times now and can’t say enough good things!
Laid back atmosphere with some booths and tables along with a bar. There’s an outdoor area with a huge fire pit that’s beautiful and warm despite the cold weather.
The food and drinks are great! I particularly like the buffalo chicken pizza. However my favorite is the sushi! It’s always fresh and a must if you stop by!
Service is always great despite being short staffed at times. I recently held an event at Parlay and was well taken care of! Planning and communication were simple and easy.
I highly recommend stopping in before heading to the casino or just for a bite to eat!

Parking: There is a lot in front of the hotel. But the hotel also has a bridge connecting to the parking garage for the casino.“

“My husband and I have been to this restaurant a couple times since they opened. They recently did a menu change and we love everything that we have tried. There is something on the menu for everyone! If you are looking for a place with good cocktails this is the perfect place! My favorite so far are the crab cakes. “This place is awesome! Everyone you walk in, you're treated like family. On karaoke night, if you're new to the bar, you're welcome with open arms and you're asked if you want to participate. The food is amazing. Homemade greatness! Drinks are very well priced. For 4 of us there for 4 hours, the bill was $51! Heck of a deal honestly. The place is truly a Cheers atmosphere.“

“Had to give The Lab five stars due to the absolutely out of this world food! My husband and I travel all over the country, mainly seeking out destination restaurants and let me tell you the food here is on par with that of the some most prestigious places across the country. My husband said he would rate the ribeye in his top five EVER! Other dishes are creative and delicious as well. Very cool atmosphere, makes you forget you are in Washington while you are dining. I will mention service could have been much more polished to match the food and ambiance. The majority of our question about the dishes where met with an “I’m not sure” from our server. Not really acceptable to not know the menu frontward and backwards when trying to deliver a fine dining experience. However the quality of the food and cocktails helped us over look the lack luster service. So ecstatic that this restaurant is in our neighborhood. Blows away ANYTHING Pittsburgh has to offer! We will return soon!“
