“I live two hours away and refuse to get my children’s birthday cakes anywhere but The Flour Child. The cake itself is amazing, but what blows me away the most is the creativity and artistry that goes into designing each cake. I love giving Alixe and her team a vibe and letting them work their magic to see what they come up with. For my son’s 1st birthday the theme was Born to One, a Bruce Springsteen birthday bash (classic 1st bday theme, of course). Alixe and team delivered a tie dyed birthday cake, with Bruce painted on and lyrics all around the side, with a matching vinyl record smash cake. It was a hit! Most recently our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cake was the talk of the entire party. I love everything about The Flour Child. You should get a cake for every occasion here!“

“Sandwich and pretzels were fresh! Pretzels are like the ones we made growing up. Liked the cranberry twist to a choice as well. However, one regular was a bit overcooked. The gal that waited on us was very nice. Great stop! If you’ve never had homemade soft pretzels (not the game day kind) - then it’s a must stop!“

“Definitely the best sticky buns hands down! Mr. Sticky would sometimes bring a truck/trailer to my hometown roughly and hour away and my mom always got us sticky buns when I was a kid if they were in town. If you are visiting Lancaster and are in this particular area off of route 30 it's totally worth pulling over!“

“Walked over with a friend today and the staff was very friendly upon arrival, they answered all of our questions about the menu. We had their iced matcha with oat milk and a iced latte with milk. We also grabbed their biscuit with strawberry jam and butter. Everything was refreshing and had a great taste! I would definitely recommend.“
“We absolutely love everything we have ever purchased! For every birthday and special occasion, we are ordering cookies at minimum. We’ve also ordered cakes, macaroons and her drop cookies too! Jessie provides the best results to my inspiration and then some. We will always continue ordering through her. The cookies are always soft, perfectly sweet yet not too sweet, smooth and beautifully crafted.“

“We had one of the most wonderful dining experience at Vecu restaurant ( used to be known as Bistro Barbaret). Chef Kevin is a young, promising chef with a great potential!! The service was superb!! Meridith, the maître de is absolutely the best show in town!!! Very knowledgeable, experienced and personal. This place will not be the same without him!! Can’t wait to be back there for another delightful dining experience. On the way out we couldn’t avoid the little European pastry shop. We are very well traveled European couple and we must say, these are by far one of the best pastries in the US, if not the top!!! Look for delightful Jamie behind the counter:) This the closest you can get to a true French dining experience.🗼“

“Bella Manse was absolutely amazing to work with and did an incredible job with our wedding cake! Renee helped us to bring our vision for our wedding cake and floral decoration to life. She perfectly matched our wedding invitations and helped us incorporate the fun detail of our dog (figurine) eating the cake! In addition to the cake being beautiful, it was also DELICIOUS. So many guests complemented us on the cake and how yummy and beautiful it was. We couldn't recommend Bella Manse enough!“
