Magic Wand Soft Pretzel Bakery Bakery •
Building 1, 955 N State St, Ephrata

“First time here. There wasn't much open outdoors, but that's expected given the time of year. Great prices on beautiful produce. Reminds me of cowtown in south jersey. I would drive here just for the delicious enormous hot soft pretzels at the indoor stand. Everything here was awfully delicious...monkey bread, giant pretzels, stuffed pretzels. Hands down the best soft pretzel I have ever eaten and I've ad lot. 5 1/2 stars for the pretzel stand.“

“Just wanted to give a shout out that all the cookies that Laura makes are amazing from the drop cookies (which if you take and melt a marshmallow like you would making a smore and sandwich in between her drop cookies it is amazing)Plus her decorated cookies puts a smile on peoples faces because they are so cute and some people have a hard time eating them because of that. LOLAlso the baby shower cookies she made for my two nieces this year were absolutely adorable and delicious. Keep the cookies coming. Thanks so much!“

“I ordered breakfast catering for work from scratch bakes. We got the breakfast sandwiches and French toast casserole. Only complaint was that they didn't offer some catering items for less than 20 people. That being said, we had A LOT of French toast casserole and were not sad about it. It was super flavorful and delicious. The sandwiches were also a perfect portion and super filling. Even though we were not "close" in distance, they still offered delivery for a fee and were very timely. I worked with Laura and she was super helpful and easy to talk to and work with for my order.“

“My experience with Lancaster Pie & Coffee began before even entering. My husband and I were reading the sign and then when we finally headed in the owner was there opening the door for us, because he saw my husband was using a cane. Once we were inside we were met with the prettiest cafe, local art to peruse, the incredible smell of pie and the warmest smile from the woman behind the bar / register. The vibes were top notch. So what about the pie? If you call yourself a pie place the pie should be, at least- good. Well, the pie is actually quite amazing. We tried the apple, blueberry and the lemon. The lemon was the showstopper, but all three were spectacular. It felt like coming home and home is perfect and has great pie. Their hot chocolate was good and included rustic homemade marshmallows. The tea selection was fantastic. One of my favorite things (and there were many from my experience), was the quiche. I've tried the quiche in just about every establishment in downtown Lancaster that offers it- none compare to the quiche here. I ordered the Swiss mushroom and it was a revelation. I feel bad for all of the other quiche makers everywhere else. So far behind..... Overall, I was immediately love stricken with the business. They deliver on every level. And the kindness and charm of the employees, owner and hostess must not be diminished. I have a handful of businesses in downtown Lancaster I order from or frequent quite a bit and the owners who are always there are rarely ever friendly or chatty, which is fine, but I wish there was more friendliness. Pie & Coffee has amazing food, fantastic pies and beverages and then the staff is so welcoming and sweet. It's all the things.“

“Fun little family friendly experience. You get to learn about the first commercial hard pretzel maker. Interesting history, fun little tour, and pretty good soft pretzels. The tour guide was great and personable, cool historical place, and the food was good but no cinnamon sugar pretzels (my favorite). Love it overall.“

“We visit on every trip to Lancaster county. Love their pies, cookies, whoopie pies and especially their dinner and hamburger rolls. They also have good ice cream and will make you a shake. During the summer there is a food truck outside baking pretzels. They're also extremely helpful if there's something special you want they will make it for you, you can either call or order it while you're there and pick up the next day. Coconut cream pie is amazing. Pumpkin pie also amazing, and pumpkin custard pie is seasonal but definitely worth trying.“

Its worth driving over from Philly to have this.It would be one of best experience your taste buds would have had.I would be surprised if anyone would mention that they have had better deserts for the same items anywhere else.I would doubt if any NYC place can be better than this. Have visited them since the last 5 years and the quality is consistent. They have crossaints and coffee, that i plan to be there for breakfast some weekend.Their bistro has great food french food, if you are a fan of real french food.“
