Got a dozen chocolate chip and just a variety of some of the other cookies and donuts they had available and man, I wish I would have gotten more. If you're in downtown Pittsburgh on Thursdays, they sell cookies at the Farmers Market. If you're visiting their shop at lunch, they also have a great buffalo chicken wrap. Definitely stop at Good L'Oven when you have a chance!“

“This cookie/sandwich shop has risen to the top in so many ways! We live in FL and our daughter lives in Pittsburgh and it was her birthday. I looked up cookie places and GoodL’Oven cookie shop in Bellevue popped up, I liked the name so I gave them a call😁 Next was where the experience began, I spoke to John, the baker, who listened to my story like he had all the time in the world, he navigated me thru their delicious cookie menu and which cookies are the people pleasers, then I decided to order sandwiches which he recommended the French Connection & Muffalata. But to top it off, (they are typically not a delivery place) he arranged to have my order delivered to my daughter’s place! She was so surprised and raved about the cookies and Sammie’s! In this day and age, there are not many people or places that go beyond, but John, you were OVER THE TOP! Thank you for making my day AND our daughter’s! “First time ever going into the bakery … shame on me. It was pretty busy but the woman that waited on me said I came in at a great time. She was awesome. I rattled off a list of random pastries and bread items. She got it all together RQ, boxed bagged and the transaction was seamless. I wish they had a tip jar! Staff works like a machine to get everyone waited on in a timely fashion.“

“Stopped here on a whim while visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend. We were looking to grab a coffee and pastry and found this place close to where we were headed. Let me tell you. I would come here every day!! Delicious. We had an almond croissant, hazelnut croissant and brought some bread home. Just slices the olive loaf. I cannot explain how delicious it is. Keep doing a great job. We will be back when we visit the city again!!“

“A friend asked me to pick up a turtle cheesecake. I go here and the lady says we don’t have any made but I have a carrot cheesecake. So I took that and caught “heck” from my friend because it wasn’t what she asked for. I explained that they didn’t have any so she called and was told yes we have 3 turtle cheesecakes. Last time I buy anything there.“

“We always get biscotti and pastry here. So delicious. Today we also had lunch at the Cafe. Wonderful service and food. Nothing fancy but a good spot. Mortadella Sandwich with pesto: perfect! Prosciutto e funghi pizza: wonderful!“

“We hired Noel at Mami’s Bakes to do cookies for our wedding rehearsal dinner and they were amazing! Everyone thought they were so delicious and had no idea they were vegan and gluten free. The red velvet cookie was totally amazing. We also ordered mini banana bread loaves for our wedding welcome bags and got so many compliments from guests! Noel was so nice to work with and took time for phone calls to make sure everything was perfect. We’ve also done orders just for fun or for holidays which have also all been delicious. Some of us in my family are vegan, some gluten free, and it’s so nice around the holidays to be able to pick up something delicious that everyone can eat. This year we ordered the coffee cake for Christmas morning and it was a huge hit, soo delicious! The cuban coffee cake is also insanely good!“

Don't get me started on the bakery!! Their cookies were fantastic, but haven't gotten to the cinnamon roll yet. They have an icing frosting and a cream cheese frosting for the cinnamon rolls. For cookies I had their pecan, chocolate chip, peanut butter cup, and white macadamia nut and they had so many other ones. They were all so soft and flavorful! Only regret is that I didn't get more. If you are in the area, you don't want to pass up this sandwich and bakery spot! Everyone was so friendly. Thank you!!!“

“Best biscotti I’ve ever had, so packed with flavor and reminded me of an amaretti cookie but had a delightful chewy texture. The service was also excellent, the woman at the counter was so lovely and kind, she went the extra mile and even brought us out a free coffee to have with our biscotti. “We had lunch at LeoGreta today and stopped at the bakery as we were leaving. We just tried the apple pie and it was delicious. Great crust and the filling wasn’t overly sweet, apples had a bite still and the spices were perfect! I had a good cappuccino as well! Definitely recommend and will be back!“

“I love this place, favorite South Hills bakery! Their pierogi are incredible, and my favorite of the baked goods selection is the lady lock (but it's all great). The vibe in there is super cozy, old school neighborhood bakery, affordable. I recommend them to everyone.“

The store is immaculate, and one of my favorite things is the double door system at the entrance which deters insects, varmints, and unsanitary conditions that come along with those. Oh, you can also watch the pitas being made through the glass wall as they come off the conveyor and get ready to come to your house.“

“Wow wow I loved this bakery so much. My mom and I stopped in after hearing great things and it took us awhile to decide what we wanted because everything looked so good! First off, best sticky bun I’ve ever had and the sausage and pepper jelly breakfast sandwich was so good. The staff was super friendly and helped with any suggestions and questions that we had. Also, the maple pecan latte was so good, I’d go there any day just for that. I will definitely be returning to try more things!“
