“I want to leave a great review for this store. Every time I visit, I notice how clean and well-maintained everything is. The customer service is excellent, and I understand that when they are very busy it can be challenging to attend to everyone right away.
I really appreciate how the team acknowledges customers, greets them, and lets them know they will be helped shortly. That shows great communication and respect for the customers. The lobby and bathrooms are always very clean, the food is fresh and hot, and they are always willing to make fresh chicken if you don’t mind waiting.
My recommendation is to call ahead if you are in a hurry and want to avoid waiting for fresh food. Overall, this location does a great job keeping a clean environment and providing good service.“

And my previous review has been changed just about full circle. I feel like I was pissed about the fries and one employee who was a tool and a couple sandwiches were wrong. But the past several times I returned -- 5 ***** The staff is very good well informed on how they would want to be treated at the good old chic fil A, or anywhere. It means a lot to the customer. We're ALL customers somewhere. We all share that piece, that understanding. It's full circle. 🐥 fries are back to being much better, and the service on point and the food still great otherwise the chicken sandwiches and sauces and condiments the whole thing. Is why they are so busy. I swallow my pride and admit my past three visits were 5*****. I have deleted my previous post as I'd like to go forward and start fresh, forgive me🙏“

“Was visiting from out of town with my family. We were very indecisive on what to order and Nicole was extremely kind and helpful when figuring out what to order. “I had to come on and talk about the young man I believe he said his name was Ben. I was in twice yesterday and during the second trip with my older son he came over to ask how everything was. My son who has anxiety and autism and usually won’t talk to me when we are out starts asking Ben his birthday. I told my son he was working and couldn’t talk. This young man had a full conversation with my son and said that was his job to make sure my son enjoyed his time there. I can not thank you enough. It may just be part of the job for you but it was a lot more then a meal for us“

So the sweet potatoes, mac n cheese, chicken wings, breakfast, drinks, this special drink the owner’s daughter makes, it was all so delicious! But what makes this place unforgettable, is the staff, it’s clearly a family run restaurant with a family that treats you like one of their own. Plus, unlike a lot of places I ate at in the Philly area, they know how to season food! Oh! I almost forgot! The grits were so good, and also the cheese fries, but the owners son made the best onion rings and sauce I’ve ever had! Seriously such a hidden gem.“

FOOD - this food was actually amazing. Way better than expected. We got the teriyaki chicken bowl. Absolutely delicious and the portion size was ridiculous. Huge bowl.

SERVICE - excellent excellent service. I told this guy I had 7 minutes before my bus came. This guy was actually running around super quick and cooked my meal in 5 MIN!!!

Atmosphere/Location - in the food court area. So plenty of seating. Also a good to go food for bus or plane. All in one bowl

He showed us our platters when they were ready, so we could indicate exactly how much of each sauce we wanted. The falafel was nice and crispy on the outside, and seasoned beautifully. The rice was also delicious, and the salad was fresh. My partner equally enjoyed his chicken and rice platter. The interior of the truck (which is what matters) appeared very clean and well kept. However this outdated place is falling apart as every visit something appears to be wrong which is odd for this area. My family are regulars at this location so of course we notice everything. Now, There are leaks everywhere. You can tell the staff is a tad embarrassed but they do constantly apologize and try their best to, well , keep us dry? unfortunately won’t be back until it is safe for us to purchase from here without getting wet or having food contaminated. We just feel bad for all those working in this conditions. Keep up the great wotk! Star rating is for the staff and food NIT for the condition of the restaurant. “I had a fantastic experience visiting the Wonder in University City. From the moment I walked in, the restaurant was spotless, welcoming, and had such a friendly atmosphere.

A special shoutout to Tom, the manager, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. His exceptional customer service and attention to detail truly stood out. To top it all off, we were surprised with a special cupcake dessert, which was such a thoughtful and sweet touch!

If you’re looking for delicious food, excellent service, and a team that genuinely cares about their guests, I highly recommend visiting Wonder in University City. I’ll definitely be back.

Im from the brookhaven-Media extension where Wendy's and BKs grow their own cows and tell customers to wait at a parking lot for 3 business years and still miss orders, and McD in Brookhaven 1000ft away from my home scammed my daughter to spend full price on Happy Meal without the meal which is a death sentence. I was passing through the 30th street station where saying there are limited food options is a vast understatement. I walked the 2 blocks (93 degrees) to Hornes and it was well worth it. The proprietor Kevin is a very nice man and now I’m feeling bad that I only tipped him $3. I’ll be back, next time with friends.“

The counter had just closed, but the manager and staff allowed us into the queue telling us that they’d get us whatever was left. We managed to get all of the meals that we wanted and were even given a few extra cookies free. Brilliant friendly team, and hopefully the manager and staff that were on duty on Thursday as we rushed from the LA flight to the Dublin flight get a bit of recognition for their lovely customer service !“
