“I’m only rating the food because that’s all that matters if you’re eating here. You’ll quickly forget about everything if you order a sub here. The pizza is pretty good. The subs are absolutely wonderful. The bread just makes it. Then could put grass clippings in a sub role with mayonnaise and it would be better than anyone else’s subs I’ve ever had. Chicken cheesesteak sub is my go to meal. I’ve had hundreds and it will continue to be my go to meal. Keep it up, never change.“

They gave accommodated us twice for large group parties and made set up/clean up super easy. Staff is always available throughout the event to help as needed. “This was my first time at El Serrano, and from the outside, it looks intriguing. The atmosphere inside is nicely decorated even with a large faux stone statue (the kind you'd see in an Indiana Jones movie). The chairs are very heavy, almost clunky and not very comfortable. The dining space seems crowded, too. We did not have a reservation, but fortunately, we got seated right away. Our waiter was kind and attentive, not overbearing, which I appreciate. Our drinks came out shortly after ordering. My beer was tasty and reasonably priced. Also provided was a basket of tortilla chips and salsa, which was quite good.I ordered a Mexican dish with chicken beans and rice. When it arrived at the table, you could see cooled top "skin" on the beans, which means it sat for a while before I got it. The flavor was ok... nothing special. The price was excessive for the ingredients used.My wife ordered a salmon dish and was prepared properly to her liking.I would probably return, but I wish the prices were a bit more in line with the ingredients and the portion size.“

Ham boats were delicious... a simple sub sandwich (see my photo) with ham & cheese, and a few "Fixin's, slightly toasted....yum. Pizza was just OK. Crust was crispy but really lacked any distinctive flavor....sauce was same. Toppings were fair. (You can kinda "see" what I mean in my photo). Filling.
