“We had these donuts for a donut tasting contest and only had the glazed and cream filled and the cream won 1st place and the glazed won 2nd up against some big named bakeries and donut shops in the area and around NE Philadelphia. We came on this day to grab some donuts before we headed to Jersey to do something else, and ended up getting some different types of donuts including Boston Cream. The donuts were so fresh and tasty. I love a Boston Cream donut and This one did not disappoint. The custard in the middle of the donut tasted so good and I was surprised as how filled it was which is always a plus. I would've rated it 5 stars but the lady working wasn't very nice and had a bad attitude. Plus they only had a few types of donuts to choose from which was strange.“

We ate at Lorretta’s on a Saturday around 10:30am and there were only a few others who dined in and others who came & went with their to go orders.We both ordered the prosciutto, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich. Lesson learned - we could have shared one because it was so large. The prosciutto was thicker but not chewy and it was delicious! The seeded roll was fresh and I could have just made a meal out of the roll itself?The service was great and I had a nice conversation with the owner’s aunt who was filling in that day.They are offering some dinner options but only a night or two during the week and they are trying new things to foster new fans.“

“A few minutes are most definitely necessary when you first arrive at Mary's Gourmet Donut Shoppe ~ the donut choices seem infinite ~ and every one of these little cakes look and taste perfectly delicious. Lemon, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Cookies & Cream, White Cream, Boston Cream (I think I saw a Fruity Pebbles donut on the last visit!)...there isn't a way to name all of the options here. The donuts are filled to the brim with goodness ~ so much so that most times it's a challenge to finish one. The lovely lady who served us was exceptionally polite and so very patient. There are always a few customers, at the very least, trying their best to make a good donut decision ~ this is no easy feat...and on a Saturday, the lines are long but move quick.“

“I moved back to PA earlier this year and this is my closest Dunkin now, and I’m so lucky that it is. All of the staff at this location are so freaking sweet and strike up conversations with me and ask how I’m doing almost every time. Sometimes they stick an extra donut or two in my bag if they’re out of what I originally wanted or sometimes, it seems like they do it just because. Some staff members even have my drink order memorized and I know it’s their job to communicate with customers but I always feel welcomed coming here. Not just that, but my drink is made exactly the right way pretty much 98% of the time, and it makes me so happy because I don’t like change, lmao. It’s probably not the healthiest thing to get an iced coffee every day but it makes me happy, and this Dunkin nails it basically every single time. I’m a little embarrassed at how often I come here, but it’s worth it because I always leave the drive through smiling or feeling a little better, because they take the time to chat with me and ask how I’m doing. Whoever does the hiring at this location knows how to pick out the best young people in the area.
