“Love this place. I've had the signature pasta dish, the wedge salad, and the steak sandwich and they've all been perfect. The creme brulee cheesecake is delicious as well. Service is always very good. I like the cucumber water, it's refreshing. They have tons of different drinks too, a huge wall of liquor. And they usually run some interesting specials.“
“Updated review since coming for dinner on a Sunday night when our other plans fell through, and neither of us wanted to cook. We had a GREAT time sitting at a high top by the bar. I enjoyed my cocktail. The kale salad was delicious and so large we got four servings out of it (one each for dinner, and again with our leftovers). Look at hubby mugging over this enormous tower of food that is the Dante's Beak "handheld" with a Nashville hot chicken thigh. (It is very hot--they're not lying.) And then there were the pumpkin gnudi: so soft, so creamy, so pillowy. Alas, they didn't travel or heat up well, but in the moment, they were heavenly. Prices were fair for service, food, drink, and ambience. Men's room is at the back, women's room is on the righthand side of the dining room. We'll definitely return when we're in Regent Square again.“
“Highly recommended!!!! The super, fresh and crispy fish and chips would be enough for 5 stars. But there was also the excellent service, the delightful and caring owner and the atmosphere in this historic restored stone house. We sat by the fireplace which was also something special.“
“Christmas at Johnny's...Very Festive and Comforting. I had the Chicken Romano...OUTSTANDING!!!! The Chicken was SO TENDER that I was Eating it with a SPOON!!! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Also had Meatballs...DELICIOUS!!! A MUST VISIT To EVERYONE Who want REAL HOMEMADE ITALIAN QUESINE!!!@“
“I love this smoothie place! The smoothies are delicious. The blends are unique and creative. One even has lavender. They have an excellent variety of juices and ingredients. Everything is organic. The energy is bright and inviting. The lady that worked there was very friendly and helpful. This is my go to smoothie place!“
“Breakfasts are great, coffee is good, service is excellent. They have a suggested price on their breakfast menu, if you can afford it, pay the price, if you can't, pay what you can afford.Great place!Parking: Limited street parking, but a free lot next to the street.Kid-friendliness: Kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in, large open floor plan.“
“Delightful veg restaurant always with at least one hearty gluten free option, stage in an an eccentrically decorated antique shop. Food was great, environment was very good roomy and interesting. Lots of big tables! Their menu changes weekly so check back often!Vegetarian options: All menu items vegetarian or veganDietary restrictions: Gluten free items clearly marked“
“Amazingly delicious no-frills neighborhood pizza joint. It is a treasure! When you factor price and taste (are there others?), Eddie's has the best pizza in Pittsburgh. Really, it's that good!!! Give it a try. I promise you'll love it.“
“So my fiance and I stumbled upon this awesome shop while walking. We were walking back home. I was going to cook dinner but we could smell the pizza outside. My mama always told me if you can smell the food out the door then it's probably good! Boy was she right! We ordered a Hawaiian Pizza and it was amazing. I told the owner that we relocated to Millvale recently and he gave us two complementary slices to try. The service was great. The restaurant was clean and cozy. This is def my new pizza spot. Sooo good“
“My brother in law turned my wife and me on to this place for lunch. Everything was made to order and very fresh and delicious. The Pho, Salad and Banh MIi sandwich were to die for (but don't). You are going to want to go back for more LOL! The staff is very nice and the service was great.“
“Fantastic for pick up and delivery. No dining room. Super friendly, fast and affordable. Generous toppings on pizza’s. Also love their hoagies.Dietary restrictions: They have good gluten-free pizza, when we are feeding a gluten-free guest“
“Not only is the food fresh and personally made by Kevin for every order, it is absolutely delicious, and very affordable to boot! Plus, Kevin is a super nice guy and it's always worth kicking back to chat while he cooks. I lived in Webster Hall 10 years ago and I have fond memories of Kevin's deli. Now, 10 years later, the food and conversation is just as good! Check this place out, you won't regret it.“
“Great little spot with friendly staff / owner and nice local hometown feel ❣️ we stopped in for dinner with a toddler and infant and got a nice quiet booth where they provided coloring materials for the toddler as well as a booster seat. The service was wonderful! They also support a new local brewery (Magnetar) and the beer was delicious!!! We will definitely be back when we want a low key family night out ?“
“A delightful breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant at the site of the old Pamela's restaurant. It retains the same basic layout, but with a new decor, and it feels much more upscale, spacious, and cleaner. The food is international in flavor, and is delicious. I needed to look up a few things on the menu, and I always enjoy finding new things, so that was great! The service is very good, too!“
“The pizza is delicious, the wings are great, never had anything that wasn't delicious, and my wife "Her Highness" LOVES the Wediges. Ok fine, she's not really a queen, she just threatens to throw me in the dungeon if I don't order from Meglio's. My only issue is I need them to add an item to their menu. There are nicotine patches to help those with a nicotine addiction. I need some Meglio's patches so I can slap one on my neck when Meglio's is closed. I'd hate to cause problems in my neighborhood, you know, local flooding due to me slobbering while craving Meglio's.“
“This cafe is very bright and welcoming with a lot of delicious brunch options. It was definitely busy but I was still able to grab a table on a Saturday afternoon and enjoy my food and drink! I really enjoyed their smoked butter latte and pumpkin toast.“
“These folks were very kind food was hot and ready they also give back FREE pizza during the holidays for families and those in need I recommend prices are very reasonable!!Parking: It’s a parking lot right out side the pizza shopKid-friendliness: My kid wasn’t a bother at all he was very comfortable staff were awesome“
“We drove 6 hours from Richmond Va to New Kingston Pa for a concert. We got there with enough time for a meal before and decided to eat here.Let me tell you amazing. All the way around. Could not have asked for a better spot to eat.But most of all this is the most amazing salad I have had in a long time.I wish the best for this place and if you’re thinking of going here. Do so! Don’t think twice.“
“This place. What a spot, in Pitts for the weekend, stumbled upon this place the first night for dinner. Was so good and our server Nick was an absolute beauty. We ended up coming back again. That’s right, twice in a weekend. Buddy Nick even helped us out with ideas where to go.This is a spot I’ll recommend anyone comes too. Headwiches, smoked wings. And Blueberry beer baby. 100% this is the spot for some good food and drinks.Let’s goo.“
“I'm never going back to Hello Bistro(right across the street) ever again. Roots Natural Kitchen is everything you want in a healthy food spot. It's healthier than the other healthy places, it's WAY tastier than the other healthy food places, and it's way fresher(also with more variety) than the other healthy food spots in the city. I guess the only thing you could say about this place *negatively* is that instead of paying $12 for most entrees, it's closer to $13-14 here.Listen to me, pay that extra dollar or two. You are going to thank yourself after that perfect, balanced meal. Thank you, Roots! You all just won yourselves a new almost daily customer. ?Staff is way better than 95% of places in the price range too. Enjoy!“
“Went there years ago when I worked in the area. I ordered a large pepperoni and wings. These wings were whole ones and tasted great. I got the light spice. They were very good and the pepperoni pizza was as good as I remember years ago. They also now accept cards they were cash only before. Can't wait for my next order.“
“Yes, I said it. Tako Torta 100% worth the money. The food is incredible at a great price. So I was pretty skeptical of the place because Tako's tacos are over $20+~ per order (but they're still really good). I tried their tortas this round and they're worth it. When I first looked at them, I thought they were small. No, it's 100% the perfect size. The tortas are heavy, so they are quite packed.I ended up trying their queso and chips, too. They may have one of the better queso and chips in the area.Churros are great too.I won't hesitate to come back. Their tacos may be expensive and amazing, but their tortas are even better and at reasonable price point.“
“Stopped in looking for a sandwich and came upon the steak and chimichurri sandwich. I was hesitant at first due to the price being $20 for a sandwich and side salad, along with the steak possibly being over cooked, but my worries were washed away after it arrived. The steak was juicy and tender and the sauce that it came with was to die for. The side salad was just ok and nothing special but the sandwich was definitely worth the price point and could definitely be split between two people or as a take home meal. The servers who brought the meal were sweet and very friendly! The bakery square City Kitchen dining area is a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family.“
“Pizza and wings were amazing... Could not believe how good they were, I ask for my wings to be cooked extra done and they where on point. Pizza crust was super good, and freshly made. Thanks to Gina and her staff... Wednesday night is $1.00 wing night?“
“I ordered via Uber Eats. I had a question about the menu so I called the restaurant but they did not answer. I was surprised when they called me back ...when does that ever happen?! My order arrived exactly as I ordered it and they didn't miss any of the sides. They have a huge selection of desserts and I got the sweet potato pie, it tastes like my 95 yr old grandma from Tennessee made it! Get the homemade healthy green tea drink, you won't be disappointed! The portions are huge... but I'm most impressed with the more flavorable twist on traditional hibachi. ❤ keep it up. I found a new spot!!“
“There is no better pizza place in Hampton/Shaler. I am originally from Philadelphia and requested a bunch of revisions on my cheesesteak to make it more legit, staff didn’t mind and in fact the cook seemed to appreciate it. Everytime I’ve requested since they happily oblige. I’ve since had one a week to curb my cheesesteak urges.“
“Food was ok, nothing special. Place wasn’t too busy on a weekday night when I went. I felt like the amount of food I got was small for what I paid.Vegetarian options: Fair amount of options available! Can always ask for food made without meat as well.“
“THIS PLACE IS THE BEST PIZZA PLACE IN PITTSBURGH AS A PITT STUDENT THIS PLACE IS THE ONLY PLACE OPEN ENOUGH FOR ME TO GET A SLICE OF PIZZA LATE AT NIGHT. EVERYONE GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE WOWED. IF YOU DONT WANT GOOD FOOD DONT COME!!! ALSO THE FRONT DESK GUY IS EASY ON THE EYES ❤️❤️❤️“
“One of my common eat out places in Pittsburgh. It’s healthy, quick, cost effective, and tasty. $13 for a bowl that easily comes out to be 2 servings. Come in and make a bowl super quick, no line. Ingredients feel fresh. I eat Roots once a month or so and really like “
“I've never wrote a Google review before, I was compelled to do so because my food was 10/10. I loved my burger, it was such a good burger. I doordashed and I got it and it was still hot, it was a heavenly burger--and I am very particular about burgers. I was so satisfied that I will be ordering again because it was just that good. Money is valuable and money spent at Tallgrass burger is money well spent.“
“Nox's on 8 is a comfortable, neighborhood sports bar. They have a fun menu with chicken wings, sandwiches, salads and appetizers. Service is friendly. They have a small party room that can be rented.Nox's is located in the former location of Casey's Family Restaurant, a long standing staple in the community. Nox's has picked up where Casey's left off, serving the community with hearty meals and a comfortable gathering place. When I visited we tried the monthly appetizer special, the hush puppies. They were tasty little dough nuggets. We also had the Friday Lenten special, fish platter. The fries and cole slaw were really good. So was the fish. It was warm, fresh and breaded with a potato bread crumb mix. I'd definitely like to visit Nox's again and try more of their extensive menu.Kid-friendliness: Family and kid friendly.“
“Dang, I'm surprised by all the bad reviews. I ordered their basic cheese pizza with 3x sauce and buffalo sauce. The pizza is delicious and a medium at $12 is a great deal. Even better, the buffalo sauce tasted homemade. I was greeted upon pickup by a foreign guy who made my pizza. Any place that makes dipping sauces from scratch deserves major props. Every other pizza place uses CRAP sauces made of soybean oil and a bunch of nasty chemicals. I'll definitely be back, excellent pizza and dipping sauce.“
“I recently held a surprise 50th birthday party in the event room at The Coxcomb and the night was perfect. I can't say enough about the entire experience from planning the party, the service, the food, the drinks, the event space, the management staff. Just everything. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and other than getting the birthday boy there for the surprise, I didn't have to worry about a thing! The Coxcomb went above and beyond to make this a party to remember and I highly recommend them for your next event.“
“The only reason I give service three stars is because the table side kiosk had issues and I could not find our waitress to bring us a checkVegetarian options: They have vegetarian soup, vegetarian pasta dishes, and of course the salad and breadsticks are vegetarian friendlyKid-friendliness: They have a kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp and if the host or hostess sees you in a wheelchair they will open the door for you. They have handicap tables as well“
“Perfect family atmosphere!Very friendly staff and when I state that Blaze has the BEST pizza,BABY, please believe me!!! If all eyes were not on me, I would have eaten about three of those yummy MF pizzas lol ,! We loved it!!!Kid-friendliness: Your kids will love to build their own pizza !!“
“Such amazing vegan food!! We stopped in for take out dinner during our Pittsburgh visit after learning they offer some of the cities best vegan food- which ended up being true!! A small “take out” only pizza joint that offers regular & vegan menu items! What we got:Vegan cheesesteak- the best vegan cheesesteak we ever had (and we’ve had a LOT) Super soft but toasted perfect bread, stuffed with cheese seitan, onions, lettuce & mayo! It had great flavor & was a massive size enough to split among the two of us to share.Vegan cheese bread- it’s basically a mini pizza crust loaded with vegan cheese & herbs! Complete with marinara to dip! So GOOD!Seitan wings- some of the best vegan wings ever had! Crispy, flavorful & spicy! The vegan ranch to dip in was great! We loved this spot! The vegan food was amazing, HUGE portions & cheap pricing for how much food you get! Only had the vegan choices but what we got was amazing! Happy to see them offering so many vegan choices!“
“We were really impressed with our lunch at SoFresh. Serving grass fed & wild caught at a fast casual restaurant is huge and it's at a great price point too. We got the asian fusion wrap w gulf shrimp, Cali bowl with grass-fed beef, and the buffalo chicken quesadilla and all were solid. Taylor got a banana-date smoothie and I got a cold pressed juice. Great location in the heart of Shadyside/Sliberty. Will definitely be back.“
“The servers here are great. Both ladies that took care of us were very friendly and made great suggestions. The food is great and they have a huge selection. Highly recommend. One thing to note is the steep stairs you have to climb to get to the main entrance. This may be difficult for a handicap person.“
“Paneras is efficient, offers pick up service. The preparation of food is very fast. The dining area is homey, comfortable and with a fireplace in cold weather. Great place to meet friends for lunch or pastry. Their croissants are flaky and light. Get there early or they will be sold.l“
