I had a coffee and it was one of the best I ever had. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. I will be be back. But what really got to me I walk with a cane and one of the girls there saw I was having a hard time she came around the counter and took what I was carrying and helped me to my car. Today there are not many people that are kind as she was. It made me know that there is still kind people in this world. A lot of their breakfast menu allowed you to build-your-own-meal. Examples... instead of listing out 10 different omelet variations, you essentially just build your own. Same with their frittatas. You also choose your sides (homefries, fruit, toast, grits) rather than being forced to have toast and homefries with the other options being up charged. Ok, onto to my meal. I went super basic. I got 3 eggs scrambled, scrapple, fruit cup, and toast. The scrapple was thick, crispy on the outside, and had a hot soft center... prefect! The fruit cup was a fresh medley of watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew, strawberries, and pineapple. The eggs, toast, and coffee were all delicious as well. It’s a canteen style setup—you order at the counter and help yourself to condiments at the self serve station, so don’t wait for a server. “I order their flavored coffee for home. Best Hazelnut around. Unfortunately had to switch to decaf to reduce headaches, but their decaf is the best I have ever tried. No weird decaf taste. Just wish more decaf flavors were available for me to enjoy.“
