“Gotten food here multiple times, it's the best Chinese food around! The wait times are not very long, considering only 2 people working most of the time. They have a giant menu with good deals. Also, I got a pack of chopsticks with three chopsticks... I'm not opening it lol. Anyway, 5/5 Stars!!“

“We picked up dinner at China Kitchen for the first time this week to support our son's FBLA fundraiser that China Kitchen graciously supported. The food was amazing. We will definitely be back soon and recommend it to all our friends and family. We love 'finding' new spots for take out, and China Kitchen is definitely on the rotation!“

“Excellent food. The dumplings were delicious as were the hot and sour soup and egg drop soup. Don’t skip the spring rolls - they’re full of fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked and are just as big as the egg rolls! Can’t wait to order from here again. What a gem in a small town.“

“This Chinese food was bomb! The sauce on my chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce was amazing. I had the perfect amount of spice to give it the little kick without being overly spicy. The shrimp fried rice was very small, but very good. I had a decent amount of shrimp in it and had very good flavor. The rice was not greasy. I took off a star because I got the combination platter and it was supposed to come with an eggroll, but it was not in the bag. Even though the worker behind the counter told me he put duck sauce in the bag for it.
But overall, it was delicious!“

“This is a take-out Chinese restaurant, located in Coatesville, PA. It is well cared for, always clean, and service is prompt. I usually call ahead and within ten minutes or less, the order is ready. I have been using this venue for more than 20 years, under two different managers. The food size is great, and it is always fresh. I recommend this place very highly.“

“Full disclosure: I haven’t eaten here in maybe 20 years but this was my family’s go to spot growing up and no other General Tsos Chicken can ever compare to my memory of what this place serves.

My mom would always place a walk in take out order and we would wait 20 minutes in the few chairs by the register while she balanced her checkbook or some other 90s/y2k analog task.

The food was packaged in the tin bottomed to go containers and when we got home we would have to wait a few minutes for the chicken to cool down because somehow it was still burn your mouth hot after the 10 minute drive home.

By some miracle, the chicken would still be crispy under the sauce that had a perfect sweet and spicy balance that I cannot find anywhere else in my adulthood. (These days it’s all sweet no spice) I remember being afraid of the peppers in the sauce. The pieces were so big I would have to cut them in half.

I’m not sure if my memory is painted by my inexperience. Golden Wall was my first exposure to any Asian food whatsoever as a baby bumpkin in Lancaster Co. I’m not sure if food quality in general has gone down in these classic American Chinese strip mall joints. What I know is that the General Tsos bar was set for me at Golden Wall and for that I will be eternally grateful :)“
