Ok I've ordered here several times since last year and I have to write this review hoping the owner sees this. I like the ribs, fish and greens but the Mac& cheese isn't good at all. It gives processed velveeta shells and cheese not a block of real cheddar used insight. I really wish they'd get a new recipe because that's the staple side for a soulfood place and it's awful.
OMGracious... EVERYTHING was lip smackin', finger lickin' good! The prices were reasonable, so I could afford to feed the family & still pay my electric bill. And I was SO grateful & glad to see BEEF ribs!!! They fell off the bone! The family shared a bit of each of our sides, and EVERYTHING was wow! They gave hearty portions, so the platters were large enough to split over two meals. And the food was even better the next day! From the Heart is a blessing! I've recently started to eat here...I've only had the turkey wings and beef ribs...I must say the meats falls off the bones...very tasty meats...hopefully I will get brave enough to try something else...my go to here is the turkey wings...one thing for sure...THE MAC AND CHEESE IS A BLACK PEOPLE'S ? NO NO...I now get vegetables and vegetables as my two sides.I rate 7 ?s out of 10 ?s...prices are very fare...
