Our family had such a wonderful experience this past weekend in Philly! From our great stay at the Penn’s landing hotel to the AMAZING service we received at Rope & Anchor. Our table of 3 had a pleasant experience. The view is great - right on the water. It was a quiet night. Our service was generally good but at points seemed slow given how few people were there (taking our order and getting our check to us, in particular). Once our order was in, our food came out quickly. Two of us had pasta dishes which were flavorful and plentiful (took half home). The swordfish entree was somewhat bland. I wouldn't get it again. Great casual dining. We were at the Seaport Museum for a show and decided to have dinner after the show. The atmosphere, food, and service were spot on. The views are terrific. We are planning to come back when the weather is better. They have outdoor seating, along the waterfront. The indoor parking that is also a part of the Hilton property is very convenient.
