“We tried Dosa Cupcakes for the first time and we are so happy we did! The cupcakes were beautiful as well as delicious and not too sweet! We tried the blueberry lemon, the chocolate peanut butter and the strawberry pretzel salad cupcake (great for sweet and salty)…all 3 fantastic! We also tried the shortbread dippers too..so good! I wish we took pictures of our goodies but we ate them too fast!! Also what a friendly couple running this business! Always outgoing and willing to spend time describing their cupcakes to customers with a smile. Also come to find out they have a store front too in Pitcairn and they do much more than just cupcakes. When you see them out and about…. Definitely give them a try!”

“Sharwood Lounge been there early 70's. A cozy place, and serves fine food also. It once sponsored a hockey team called The Sharwood Blades who played games at Swickley Arena which may not even be there anymore. In 1976.”

“I stopped by Brave Bean on North Shore recently and had mixed feelings about the experience. I ordered a chai latte with whole milk, but unfortunately, it was way too strong for my taste. There was so much chai and not enough milk that it threw off the balance—it came out way too spicy and intense to enjoy. The atmosphere wasn’t quite what I expected. It had more of a cafeteria vibe and felt kind of empty—maybe I just came at a quiet time, but I was the only person there. That said, the barista was very kind and friendly, which definitely helped brighten the visit. Also, they have a wide selection of drinks, almost like a smaller, local version of Starbucks—which could be a plus if you’re into variety.”

“Dick's is a family owned bar that's a great place to socialize, shoot some pool and watch sports! Their juke box has a nice sounds to it. They have their own kitchen with reasonable prices for their food and drinks. The bartenders are friendly and rarely keep a customer waiting. One of the things I like most about Dick's is you RARELY EVER SEE A FIGHT! The owners, Tom and Kim Dick will be celebrating 15 years in business this winter. On special occasions they usually provide a buffet and/or dessert of some kind. Their employees are quick to stop an argument in the rare occasion one would start. Those are just a few of the reasons I love going to Dick's!!!”

“we ordered the brisket and pulled pork for a birthday party on the 13th. I can't express how well it was received. People especially raved about the brisket and we bought a whole pan and had nothing left. the pulled pork was just as delicious. there BBQ sauces are also excellent. This is the second time we used their catering service and I'm sure we'll be doing it again.”

“I check the weekly offerings and try to plan a trip when something sounds appealing. I will say that I have enjoyed 95% of the ones I tried. You can't go wrong with the semi-sweet chocolate chip. The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. The orange creamsicle flavor was spot on. They recently had a peanut butter crisp cookie featuring Butterfinger. It tasted like the candy bar in cookie form.”

“It smells soooo good. Once you get outside the store, you can smell the goodies. Once you get inside, you want to eat everything and buy everything it smells so good!!

The ice cream is some of the BEST I've ever had very fresh!! And you MUST try the pound cake is ABSOLUTELY Delicious ? it comes by the slice however you can order a whole cake. The cookies & brownies are delicious too!!

“Stopped here after Steel City Con for lunch. I grew up on the VA/NC border, and I’m used to having good BBQ. No doubt, Big Rig might be the best barbecue I’ve ever had anywhere. I was in a group of four big dudes, and everyone loved their various dishes and the portions are huge. Great service, great food. 100% will be back again.”

“Hands down the best Thai food I've ever had. the steamed pork dumplings are addictive sometimes I'll just get 3 orders of those. Their Pad kee Mao is my favorite dish, the flat rice noodles hold the flavor amazingly and this is also the first Thai place I've ever encountered that a 10/10 spice is too much for me. 6-7 is so rich with spice without the overwhelming heat. I haven't had a single bad thing from here and have been going the for years now. best Thai food in Pittsburgh”

I have driven to Monroeville more times than I can count to satisfy my family’s Indian cravings (yes even my 7 year old loves Indian food). I can say without a doubt this is the best I have tried in the Pittsburgh area. The freshness and quality is so amazing. The owner is very personable and service is great. I contemplated driving an hour and a half to get a pizza from a place that I KNOW is safe! I stead I took the chance with Pasquales. seriously the best pizza I've had in the LONGEST TIME. it was so fast, I honestly expected it to be horrible. but it was delicious! I usually can barely crush 2 pieces...I ate 6.. I do feel sick but that's just because I ate way too much!! the sauce has flavor, it's well seasoned. the crust is buttery and delicious. you can actually TASTE the garlic! they don't skimp on seasoning which is so nice! this is our new go to for pizza!!!”

There are great vegetarian options, too and the owner/server has a great memory for your preferences. Outdoor seating was pleasantly shaded, and indoor is of course also available.”
