“We had a tour last week with our beer guide Kevin. He was extremely knowledgeable about all beers and the history of the area, very friendly and just really enjoyable as a tour guide. We went to Old Thunder in Blawnox, Strange Roots in Millvale and Allegheny City on the North Side - each with its own ambiance and tasty brews. We'd be happy to go on another tour with friends sometime!“
“I've always been a fan of Grist House brewing. They have some good barrel aged stouts when they put them out. Also the IPA's are pretty solid. They seem to have a ton of sours as well which people love. I like them, but they don't like me (sours that is). Great outdoor space. I however at times get annoyed with some of the enormous dogs people bring. I have no issue with dogs, let me say that, but people sometimes bring massive dogs and are clueless to the fact that they are blocking doorways and things. It's also a Penn State brewery which is cool. They have firefest every year and that is a great time. Food trucks daily. Parking sucks, all street parking.“
“Enjoyed some lovely drinks in an inviting taproom. Mule is tasty, Mojito was simple and good, Eastside was refreshing, gin & juice was my fav, lemon drop was a little too much vodka for me, spritz was very very amaro, oolong seltzer was tasty. Plz enjoy~“
“The first time I went here I thought the beers weren't great, but the second time was a lot better. Excellent location, in any case; good place to chat with friends. The music is a tad loud, that said, but I guess it makes conversations more private for some who want to talk loud? Who knows.“

“A fun and eclectic brewery in Verona. Inner Groove's ~thing~ is having a great collection of records which are always spinning. It added a nice ambiance while sitting at the bar and whatever's playing is a good conversation starter with the bartenders who are really friendly and helpful. I felt the tap list is super IPA heavy, which I'm not as into anymore personally. But if you are, you'll love it! I tried a blonde ale and the rainbow sherbet sour (which legit tasted like melted rainbow sherbet). They were both good. I look forward to checking out this space again in the summer. It's really close to the river so I'm sure it's even better when you can spend time outside.“
“This brewery in the Rocks marked the 102nd brewery that I've visited. Marking that I've officially visited every microbrewery in the Pittsburgh region and let me tell you there is a lot. More are on the way, and I'll need to visit the new ones.Sadly I didn't know until this year that this place existed. How did I not know. One thing is that I love Hazy IPA's or Pale Ale's, they are my go to drink. What I do not like is a sour. However I tried a couple of their sours and damn are they the best that I've ever tasted.This place is unique it's in part of an old theater. They still have comedy nights here on the weekends it appears. The place looks a little scary, but it's perfectly fine area from what I've gathered.I can't wait to come back here again. Great place.“
“Love love love!! I really can’t wait to come back to this place. They had me at popcorn. I would have stayed just for that. But I got more. Their flights are $2 a pour, so you can try their whole set. The real star of the place is their shandy, soooo good I wish they sold growlers. I don’t want to leave out their house brews, they are honestly really good. I only had one I didn’t like, which is my own preference on beers since I don’t like IPAs.The bartender we had was an absolute gem. She packed me up a bag of popcorn to go. Love you girl!!I also tried one of their cocktails, which was so well done I could have had them all night long.I saw several signs about things they have going on during the week and I really can’t wait to attend.“

“Great pop-up experience. The service staff was very friendly and funny to chat with, and the cheesesteak-burger-thing that my partner and I split was really enjoyable. I got the new Zealand hazy to drink and was very satisfied with the pairing, and the view of the river, while not spectacular, was definitely pleasing and we enjoyed our post-dinner walk which I will lump in with the overall experience.“

“What a great afternoon we had at Southern Tier Brewing Co. We were visiting from Baltimore before a Pirates game. Our waitress, Amanda was awesome!!! It was quite busy but it felt like we were her only customers. The drinks and food were great. Will definitely come back when we visit again!“
“Easily one of the top breweries in the area. Not only are their beers unique and tasty, but they generally have something that will please everyone.Some of the best beers I've had have come from Hitchhiker and while their cans are good in a pinch, their on tap beers are well worth the trip.My only knock is they need to expand somewhere else with more seating and do a food menu of their own rather than relying on food trucks which can be hit or miss (can't remove a star for that since it's clear this is only a taproom) .The staff is great and attentive and let you try something so you don't get a glass of something you will hate.Getting seating here sometimes can be problematic in the winter months; but their stuff is top shelf and worth it.One of my top 5 breweries in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.“
“We came after a Pittsburgh Steelers game. After being in the cold and rain, what an amazing experience. The beer is phenomenal and the cocktails are amazing. The couches and chairs are a great place to watch a game. Amazing time can’t wait to come back. Thank you Trevor and Daren!“
“Pretty great atmosphere, went during an anniversary party for the bar, if you like cider you’ll love their spices cinnamon cider! I also love that it’s themed, feels like an amusement park, wanna step into Germany for a few hours? Just go here.“

“Nice and friendly staff, good food and love the rotating weekly pizza. They are always so creative and different. Inside is cozy and I love the outdoor area during the warmer months. Winter they also have fire pits, which are cozy to hang by. Dog friendly outside is a plus.“
“Support your local brewer and get down to Insurrection Brewing in Heidelberg - right next to the police station ?. It's not a particularly large venue, nor a warm and cozy place, but they're definitely churning out some decent brews here. The barrel aged stout and west coast IPA were really very good. They've got a 3.91 (of 5) average rating on Untappd, and that's pretty good ?“
“Brew Gentleman has always been a solid spot. We hadn't made our way out there for a bit but decided to check it out again. We were pleasantly surprised to see they changed it around a bit from the previous layout, and they added some nice touches. They always have a nice line up of styles, and their flagship beer is on tap. There is a beer garden around the back of the building that is not connected that provides additional space when the weather is nice. Four packs available on site to go. No food on site, but there is a food truck sometimes.“

“A friendly, welcoming atmosphere focusing on the local community with amazing beer. They have a delicious hand made woodfired menu that changes seasonally so there's always something new to look forward to, also the very best pizza in town. Its outdoor seating only, but they have live music on the weekends weather permitting. The staff is very friendly & pets are welcome. They have something for everyone. Stop in soon Wed- Sat, & hopefully I'll see yinz there“
