“We found this gem of an Italian deli in Ridley Park, less than a mile off the Delaware Expressway.

My husband ordered the “Old World”, a fresh baked roll piled high with meats, cheeses, and Italian spices. I had a sandwich with lightly breaded chicken breast, fresh Mozzarella and roasted red peppers. And yes, it really was that good.

They’re the nicest people. We’ll certainly stop there again, and you should too. You can thank us later.“

“I absolutely love the selections and the quality of the food is fantastic. The atmosphere is pleasant and the table lay out is remarkable. To describe the service, it is super excellent and stupendous. I would definitely come back again and with that being said i would definitely recommend it not only as a family outing, but as a place for occasions like date nights, birthday parties, and wedding celebrations. For the service food and atmosphere, they get a 30/30. The wait staff are accommodating did a superb job and deserved a raise for their hard work dedication and results.“

“One of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! Everything was delicious. Roz and Rocco's chef is a pro, and the waitress was congenial, and on point! The restaurant is a whimsical, eclectic blend that combines a traditional "family home style" celebratory vibe showcasing the owner's Italian grandmother's recipes. I am a salmon snob, and "Roz and Roccos" delivered: my salmon was cooked to perfection with that delicious crispy top layer that I love. The fresh charred, roasted broccoli had that brilliant green color with the right amount of tenderness and crispiness that made it so yummy. Our table of seven agreed that the food was bursting with unique flavors, as we passed around our plates to sample the entrees. Rox and Rocco's is a festive restaurant and I could feel "Grandma's love" with every bite.. So glad we picked this restaurant for Mother's Day.“

“I’ve heard about Fiorino for so long, especially from someone who lives in Florida! I finally went and it was all they said it would be! Absolutely delicious! I asked our server what entree I should get because I couldn’t decide between 2 of them that I wanted. He said “No problem! I’ll bring you a half portion of each!” WHO does that in today’s world?! “Piazza Napoli is an all-around great pizza parlor! They offer takeout, but also dine-in, and you can reserve for pizza party. Their delicious upside down pizza is our family fave, yummy inside outs, along with tomato pie. Prompt service, has been consistently ready on time for pick up. (We have not tried delivery.). Menu has so much to offer, everything has been tasty. Give 'em a try!“

One suggestion, we waited a long time for our dishes to be cleared after we were done dinner and when the server came to our table, he said “ can I get you the check” and we said no we would like to have dessert . I had my mom’s retirement dinner at a place pretty much next door. When I called originally to see if he can cater it he called me back so quickly and helped me pick out the perfect amount of food . “I moved to the neighborhood from Brooklyn recently. One day while walking around, I passed this unassuming place. The only indication that it was open was a chair outside with a bouquet of flowers to pin down a paper menu to the chair. The menu looked divine.

A few days later I walked past, showing my partner that the place almost seemed closed from the outside but was very cute inside. Someone who worked there came out as we were looking and was very kind, asking us if we had reservations yet. We said no but booked immediately.

The first time I visited, I had the sourdough, Marinated Mussels (hakurei turnips, miso, chili oil), Carrot (crab, brown butter), Shrimp (peaches, coppa, toasted marcona almonds), and Gnudi (corn& basil). It was an entirely no-skips meal. The mussels came cold, out of their shell, and the sauce was incredible. The “carrot” was more like a crab cake with coconut, brown butter, and an unidentifiable but delightful citrus. A perfect balance of rich & light. The gnudi seemed simple, but the lightly spicy sauce really pulled all the ingredients together. Finally, the shrimp with peaches really knocked my socks off. Lots of places will make “seasonal” menus but not put the effort into making sure that produce is top notch. The peaches would’ve been delicious on their own, but with the rest of the dish, they really shined.

The second time I went (just a few weeks later) I got the Chicory Salad (anchovy, buttermilk, comte), the Steelhead Trout (sungold tomato, perilla), and a tuna crudo special. I also re-ordered the bread, the carrot with crab, and the gnudi. Everything was just as good as last time, and the new additions were truly worth trying. Something as simple as a chicory salad can be so hit or miss - but WOW!

For dessert we had the cherry brown butter tart with crème fraiche. No complaints at all here.

Now I’ve rambled on plenty about the delicious food, which I will be back for very soon, but I truly haven’t ever been to a place with better service. The workers are extremely attentive and kind. I felt like I’ve known everyone there for a long time.

“What a beautiful dining experience for our first time at Anthony's. We got there earlier than our reservation. They were very nice and accommodating. We were seated within minutes. Our waitress was very helpful and mannerly. She was so pleasant. We decided to try the scippelle soup. (Sorry for the misspelling) it was delicious! We also had the figs wrapped in prosciutto and gorganzola cheese topped with a balsamic glaze. Amazing and so different. For entrées my husband had a veal chop that looked like a tomahawk steak. It was topped with a brown demi glaze accompanied with mashed potatoes and a melody of vegetables. I had the halibut with shrimp and assorted veggies. It was good.

To put an ending on this fabulous meal, we both shared a piece of homemade jewish apple cake.

“Sunday, around 7:30, take out hopping, but the restaurant was quiet. Best described as a fairly typical neighborhood joint. The server was friendly and competent the food was very good, and the prices were astonishingly reasonable. BUT...One thing stood out the dinner rolls were astoundingly wonderful. A case of next time I order 9 rolls and a side of red sauce. Seriously, they take obvious pride in their craft, everything was everything, and the rolls kicked serious butt. Glad I went, and would go back anytime.“

“My husband and i enjoy eating at this fine Italian restaurant together, with family and friends. The restaurant is clean, bright and the staff at this family owned business is very friendly and professional. The menu includes seafood, chicken. Pasta, veal and steak. The appetizers, salads and home made soups are impressive as are the daily specials. My husband has celiac disease and they are very accommodating. The pricing is in line with similar establishments and it is a BYOB witn NO corking fée. We simply love it !!!❤️“
