“I love everything about this place. I started coming here looking for a quick place for lunch close to my job. They have the freshest shrimp rolls with the freshest seafood I’ve ever had? I’m completely addicted. I took my co-workers there for lunch and they all were completely happy with their order. I come here often, and my coworkers said they’re definitely returning also. “Illata has become our favorite Fitler Square restaurant, and we've been in the neighborhood for 22 years. It's a little gem, nestled on Gray's Ferry Ave just steps from South Street. The staff is extraordinarily pleasant and helpful, and the food is - in a word- exquisite. All delicious, all prepared beautifully, a very balanced menu of seafood, red meat and vegetarian options. Their desserts are divine!
But perhaps the most amazing, and extremely reasonable addition, to the menu is their sourdough bread- hearty and flavorful, with a perfect slightly chewy feel on the tongue. We've taken to order some to go!

“Wick's is awesome! Their staff is always super friendly! I always bring coolers of food from Wicks with me to the Outer Banks when I vacation there for a week in a house rental. Wick's has almost every product available; from burgers, hot dogs, french fries, onion rings, chicken fingers (homemade right there on site), all things seafood, chicken patties, roast beef and gravy and mac and cheese right in the aluminum pans to cook them in, vegetables, almost everything imaginable. I highly recommend this place of business.“

Both can be a little brash but overall it's a good place to get a quick bite that isn't expensive. Never ever have to worry about the food not being fresh either.“

“Here's the thing the crabs are in a pan wrapped in the plastic they are very tasty but some of the crabs was very mushy the steam shrimp same thing a lot was very mushy but they have the good taste I think the food continue to steam why they are wrapped in pans and wrapped in that plastic the shrimp.are placed in bowls with tops on them I think that is the problem the guy and his mother is some of the nicest ppl that sell seafood I have ever met very nice giving and respectful if you guys can get the the shrimp and crab being mushy under control I believe you could be one of the top seafood store in Philly I will give you guys another try I really like the flavor on the food and the service“

“This was an evite to an 80th birthday party for my good friend, Jerry Conquest, given by his daughter, Michelle Conquest (Prettyman); and also honoring him for his many accomplishments. When Jerry retired from the Air Force, he had the rank of Chief Master Sergeant, the highest non-commissioned rank of E-9. It is also considered a senior non-commissioned officer rank. The food and desert was great, music ?? played by the DJ was smooth and enjoyable. There was a cash bar, if you cared to indulge. There were relatives from California to enjoy the celebration.
