“Went and ordered a turkey hoagie at 4pm today, I was so busy at work I didn’t get a chance to sit down and eat until 8pm AND the hoagie was still amazing!!! Roll wasn’t even soggy !!!! Amazing job ladies!!!!

“Exceptional food, staff is incredibly friendly. Paesano's hosted a private event, the results were spectacular. A very welcoming environment. Pete, the chef, accomdated allergies, took the time to talk a bit about the courses. I will definitely be back to Paesano's.“

“We have been by this place several times. Decided to stop today. The food was delicious. The staff was nice. We orderd a cheesesteak and their new cutlet Caesar. They were both amazing. We will be going back!“

“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

“It’s dated, a bit worn, and absolutely perfect!
First time here, so I got a small Zep, a small cheesesteak, fries & a coke.

Zep sandwich - absolutely awesome!!! The cooked bologna (which refers to how it is made, as it is still a cold-cut and is not fried and served warm as I was expecting!), was a tasty variation of salami that I really enjoyed. Served on a local “Conshohocken roll” - which was puffy/doughy/yummy. Garnished with provolone, ripe tomatoes slices, generous onion slices, olive oil & spices. I then added some of the pepper relish (not spicy) that was in a jar on the table, to mix up the bites. Unique & delicious - a great sandwich!

Cheesesteak - I added grilled onions, lettuce, tomato & mayo. The meat was juicy, flavorful, of high quality, and was just the right amount. I enjoyed the softer hoagie bun (as opposed to the crusty sesame seed variety usually served in the city at the traditional places). A really good cheesesteak!

Fries - the only thing I wasn’t
“wowed” by. Totally fine, but nothing special.

Coke - came out of a fountain, and included a refill - the way it should be! Bonus - it tasted a tad syrup-heavy, which I’m not complaining about…

Overall - this place is a gem, and is worth a visit if you are in the area. The food is great, and walking into the restaurant is literally stepping back in time. Loved paying at the register on the way out, with requisite random candy for sale on the counter. Reminded me of going out to eat with my parents as a kid in the 70’s.“

“Today we had the sausage and peppers breakfast sandwich, and it was fabulous. We’ve also had Bud’s breakfast wrap, Smalls’ Italian sandwich, and one of our favorites is the Chicken Cutlet sandwich. Fantastic sandwiches. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, and consistently friendly service. Having lived in the neighborhood our entire lives, my husband, son and I all agree that it’s one of the best additions to the area!“

“Was craving cheese fries and heard Poe’s has great ones. Can confirm the cheese sauce itself was very tasty. I wish the fries were crispier, they seemed like natural hand cut fries but got too soggy. Some sogginess is expected with hot gooey cheese on top, but I’ve had crispier.

“Eve’s is a true Norristown staple! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid my dad used to take me and all these years later, it’s still one of my favorite spots. They have THE BEST zeps! The rolls are amazing, the deli meats are always delicious, and that mayo just hits different. 😂 I always get extra mayo and pepper spread. The turkey zeps are delicious too! i either get the Beef Empanadas or the Farmers Burger, both are amazing so i recommend them. my husband usually gets something different everytime, and i haven't heard a complaint yet!

Primos costs a little more than your average hoagie shop but the quality is more than worth it. Despite of the bad ones I decided to try it for myself I bought there cheesesteak fries and soda lunch special along with a brisket sandwich I also upgraded my fries to the Spanish fries, let me tell you something I wasn’t disappointed at all everything was great, flavorful, and hot it’s definitely a place to go to when I’m down the city!
