“Went on for the first time on a Monday night. Food choices were very good. Service also very good.We ordered the Ikamaruyaki (grilled squid) appetizer which was very good. For dinner we ordered a sashimi platter and Unagi-don bowl. Both were very good as well. Will return in the future when we are looking for Japanese cuisine.“

“Koi is an amazing place! It is some of the best sushi my husband has ever tried, and it comes complete with a special design by their sushi chef. This family owned restaurant has multiple member of their family, and it truly adds a personal touch. “Great food. Best at Specialty rolls rather than classics tho. Chipped dishware is way too common though. that exposed ceramic can cause silica contamination and speed up damage to the dishes or cause mold growth. Can also be kinda loud. But good service and food.“

“I used to be a regular to Umami and haven’t been back in a while, so I went back today for some lunch and decided to see if the quality has changed since a few years ago and wow was I surprised!! It’s the same if not better! They have great fish and their roll pieces are larger than any other sushi restaurant in the area! Whenever I’m in town I’ll try to stop in, it’s still a great place to have a quiet dinner with the family or grab some takeout on the way home. Highly recommended!“

My friend and I started with the oysters and tuna tasting platter. The oysters were exquisite, and the tuna was, as always, exceptional. We followed with the sushi and sashimi combination, adding salmon, king salmon, and chutoro and Otoro. Heavenly doesn’t even begin to describe it. Every bite was beautifully balanced and absolutely delicious.

The cocktails are equally well crafted, and we ended the meal with sorbet—lemon for my friend and coconut for me. The perfect, refreshing finish to an outstanding meal.

“Takumi was a fun place to go for a casual Valentine's dinner with family. The service was attentive and food came out quickly. The vibe in the restaurant was upbeat. The cocktails were inspired and tasty. We loved the purple fry app. If you get he coconut shrimp entree, be aware that the shrimp are not peeled, so there is a bit of messy work to be done. Overall, a great time.“

“I dont think we'll ever stop coming here. We love the atmosphere- quiet, relaxing, with dim lighting. The staff is so nice. I think one time they were behind due to staffing but they were back and forth as quick as they could doing their best. The food is so good! The clear soup or the gyoza soup are the perfect soups when you're feeling sick. When we do hibachi it is always a good time. I've brought family (the kids are always asking to go), friends, and coworkers on many occasions and we always have lots of laughs and the food is phenomenal. My favorite is the filet mignon hibachi. All around great and our favorite Friday night spot.“
