“If you like a good dive bar with great food, friendly customers, friendly bartenders and great pub food, this is your place!!! Played pool for hours and made new friends. Made friends with both of the bartenders. Met the owner and he was super nice, had a great conversation with him and his staff. So happy they have an IPA on tap. Would come back over and over again!“

“We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were not disappointed. The place is historic and old as dirt. But they've done a wonderful job preserving this great venue. Hardly a bad seat in the house. For the 2 nights we were here, the music was top notch. The food is remarkably yummy, the service is great and the people and vibe is fantastic. Our room was cozy and the bathroom updated. The surrounding area makes for a nice place to wander. If you're a big jazz fan or clueless, this is simply an enjoyable experience.“

After being seated, we waited for 20 minutes for the waitress to come over and take our drink order. However, service & food picked up after that. The food was very good. I had the twin lobster tails and raw oysters & salad, all very good. My son had the rib-eye steak, which he enjoyed. “A small hidden gem, just right outside the downtown Stroudsburg area. This place is fantastic.. I have visited many times and every time it has not disappointed at all. The food was delicious, streak was cooked perfectly.. the various wings and sauces are amazing from mild to hot and everything in between, the pizza was crispy! as well as the stromboli...! and the specials are worth trying every time. “My family and I came here for breakfast because we didnt want to spend another 80$ on the breakfast buffet at Great Wolf Lodge. The Diner is well maintained and the food was beyond expectation. The greater was pleasant the waitress was extremely helpful and the cook was on point. The sweet potato french fries were cooked to perfection and not soggy. My sister had the Greece special and was stuffed. The delicately crisp spinach pie was delicious. I myself had the gyro which was also well made and I could tell the tzatziki sauce was homemade. Very nice. If we come back to the Poconos again I would definitely consider stopping her again.“

“My family absolutely loves this place for its vintage flare and all-American feel. The cheesesteaks, burgers, and fries are all incredibly delicious and well priced for the large portion sizes. Egg creams are the best I’ve had in the area and the pumpkin ice cream is a very tasty seasonal treat. “Food is fine. Sticky would be the word that I would use to sum up my visit.. Salt and pepper grinders are sticky. Menus are sticky. I told the bartender that the menu was covered in sticky stuff (you can see the residue all over it) and she didn't care and just put it back in the stack for the next guest. The beer menus have beer stains all over them. I think the host is sitting at the bar eating. People don't seem to love that there's no host when they walk in. I sat at the bar so it didn't matter. “This has been THE BEST dining experience my family has had in a couple years! We were greeted and sat right away. The server was amazing. Gave us a great tip on the best sauce, the spicy Hawaiian sauce was amazing! I think it beat out my love of campfire sauce!!! She was on point with making sure we had everything refilling our fries, refilling our drinks. She brought out our basket of fries before our burgers were ready with all the sauces we asked for. “We had a taste for oxtail and decided to see if our other spot was still in business. With our google search this came up. I decided to read the reviews. The person who comes from Allentown gave us the courage to try this spot. We were concerned that at 3:45 pm the oxtail would be gone. To our surprise they were well stocked and bustling. The food was excellent. We chose 2 xl orders of oxtails with various sides: cabbage, greens, plantains, rice and peas. Oddly enough the cabbage was a little crunchy, but boy was it tasty.
