“If you have never been to the Icebox Creamery in Zelienople, you are missing out. The ice cream is handmade with all natural ingredients. The flavors will change with some frequency but there are a handful of staples as well. Today my wife enjoyed a scoop of pumpkin pie paired with a scoop of blueberry cobbler and I had a scoop of peanut butter and a scoop of chocolate marshmallow. We both were very satisfied with our choices and had to leave before we ordered more. It’s that good. So if you are in the Zelie area, stop in the Icebox Creamery (cash only) and pamper your palate.“

He often can’t eat the same desserts the rest of us eat due to the possibility of cross contamination at a lot of establishments. He ordered a blizzard this evening, and an employee thoroughly sanitized the machines used in making his blizzard before she made it. Dairy Queen could have just said they couldn’t guarantee there was no cross contamination, but instead they took the time and care to make sure my son could safely eat there, which was greatly appreciated. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated.I knew they were minutes (like there's more fingers on your hand than there were minutes till they closed) away from closing when I got there. When I got to the counter they told me that they were closed. I responded saying that I was only after a vanilla cone and I was paying with a card. They were awesome and I got my ice cream. I know they weren't thrilled for someone to walk in when I did, but they weren't rude or made me feel like they were irritated I was there. Even when they said they were closed it was in an apologetic tone.Thanks again guys.I've worked enough retail jobs and if you're going into a place close to closing time; as the customer you should be quick - know what you're after, uncomplicated - don't try to specialize, polite - they've been working all day and want to get home.“
