“Such a great place to deliver freight! Very friendly people that care for what they do. I called hours in advance before my arrival and asked if I could park there overnight until my appointment the next morning. No problem at all. They even have a driver's lounge that is open 24 hours with a restroom and vending machines. If you need to park there, call ahead and make sure it is okay first. I'm sure they will allow it unless their yard is full.“
“I have been searching for the flavor burst swirly cones for years!I used to get them as a kid from a restaurant in Washinton State. When I went back this past year, they no longer had the flavor burst swirls. This place brought back a piece of my childhood that I never expected to find again! Thank you!(I got the coffee flavor; so yummy)“
“The best family ice cream shop! Huge field in the back for kids and dogs to run and play with picnic tables for everyone to eat at. One small pavilion covered table. And umbrellas at tables. Big lot. Drive thru. Grasshopper pie ice cream is the best!“
“Very busy in the summer but chill in the winter. They are pretty quick if you order something simple--it's pretty much all teens that work there. The ice cream is good and there is a lot of flavor choices. The parking lot is big but can get crowded at peak times in summer. It's the closest ice cream to my house so the location is convenient. It's not the best ice cream in the world but it's very good.“
“Everything here is good. I love the many different delicious flavors, the way they use their ice cream in waffle taco shells or in a delicious twister. The fact that they have online ordering and alot of staff (hard to see nowadays) to make your experience fast, smooth, and delicious. They also have a bunch of different deals or specials to keep the business exciting and fresh. Emmerling ice cream will NOT disappoint. It's a staple to not only the community but the surrounding areas also. They show support for all of the local school districts also.“
“Custards is my choice for local ice cream stand. They may not have the selection of other competitors but their prices are better and they are friendlier than most. The only drawback is that they are not open year round, but that makes sense given their business, and I can't fault them for that as I'm the odd one who wants ice cream on January 1st...:)“
“This is one of my favorite businesses in Sharpsburg. They're so creative and artsy, and the place is a joy to visit. The ice cream is delicious and always generously filled with candies and confections. I love their Instagram account photos too; I can't possibly try all the flavors, so it is nice to be able to see all the new flavor names and creations.“
“I ordered a chocolate chip cookie because I feel like you can judge a place by something classic like chocolate chip. The cookie was excellent and had a ton of chocolate chips throughout and on top. The cannoli cookie was great and came chilled. It had a cream filling that was sweet but not too sugary. The cookies were good but they are pricey. We spent $10 on two cookies. It's definitely a place to get a special treat but not an every day thing. They also had self service kiosks which I love!“
“Every time I visit family in Oakmont, we make several trips to Brr-Kee's. There are many reasons to love this place. The ice cream flavors are plentiful to choose from and excellent regarding temperature and taste. The sundaes and cones are always very good for the folks liking the normal portion sizes. For the professional ice cream connoisseur, you really should try the large banana split. You can have them swap the usual vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavors for any flavor of the day listed. Check out the picture of this bad boy. Takes me back to the tasty freezes of a bye gone era. Also, the fact that they are open year round is a huge bonus as many of us enjoy ice cream in the colder months.“
“This was the best mini golf course I'd been to in YEARS! So cute and each hole was a different theme and cleverly named. Great place to take the family. They also have a pitch n putt and soccer golf which we're trying next time we come!“
“My husband ordered me an icecream cake for my 40th and just told them to do a Halloween theme and UGH!! So amazing!! It looked incredible! Kudos to the cake artist at the Bellevue location! You deserve a raise ;) oh and I love how Scoops has icecream cakes :)“
“Very wide variety of flavors to choose from. My favorite is lil blue panda and is what I get every time. Family members think the award winning chocolate is not remarkable at all, though. Flavored cones are a nice addition. Prices are comparable to other shops. The place is always very clean and there is seating available. My only complaint has consistently been staff. The kids working are not friendly, at times horsing around, confused on which customers need waited on.“
“This coffee shop is more than a place to buy coffee or espresso. This little place provides you a sense of belonging. It’s a coffee community, where everyone has that one thing in common. The bean! It’s all about the people who work here. Simply put, they’re great people. Sometimes when you’re in this place, you don’t realize you’re in a business. It’s like hanging out with friends. I go to some of Pittsburgh’s best coffee shops from LaPrima to Espresso amano. However, this little place is the best. Give it a chance. You’ll like it.“
“Food and mixed coffee beverages good. Straight up coffee...bad. I gotta support local and they do get their beans roasted locally ...sadly they are from Nicholas where everything tastes either like hazelnut or burnt Panera coffee. Not a place for black coffee connoisseurs but definitely a nice place for an iced tea, lunch, or excellent latte.“
“Love the custard here! Also love the opportunity to support local businesses! This place makes all homemade ice cream, so you know everything you'll get is tasty. The custard keeps a simple menu of chocolate, vanilla, swirl, and the flavor of the week!“
“Ice cream was spectacular! The service was quick and the line was very short. The employees were very kind and told my family about the different flavors of ice cream when they asked. Overall the outside and inside was very clean. They also sell other items, which I tried another day. These were also very good! Will most definitely be coming back!“
“Fall is in season at Bruster's! We had some of their fall flavors, Pumpkin Patch - which was pumpkin ice cream ( super creamy) with bits of soft Graham cracker & our other was deep apple pie! Oh my, it had chunks of fresh apple pie in it!! We also got one of our favorites for the freezer - cinnamon ice cream - goes perfect with Apple Pie!Always friendly fast service.“
“I grew up only liking the lemon flavor but recently i found out about the coffee ones and i absolutely recommend them to anybody, the cold brew one was delicious. wish there was more custard in it but other than that it deserves to stay instead of being limited time“
“This place is the best! Black Raspberry soft serve is amazing and my daughter got the Banana Split Freeze and she said it was better than from other local places she tried. If you are adventurous try getting the cookie dough freeze with black raspberry soft serve instead of vanilla. You won't be disappointed!“
“My daughter and I had the pleasure of dropping by Bloom Café in Mars recently, and let me tell you, it's as charming as they come. Not only does this quaint café serve up some seriously delicious food, but it's also a treasure trove for anyone who loves to cook or dabble in culinary experiments, thanks to their selection of jams, jellies, and all sorts of intriguing items.Ordering is a breeze - you do it at the desk, grab a number, and then choose your spot. They've got a cozy little dining area, but the real gem is the seating in their nursery. Yes, you read that right. You can enjoy your meal surrounded by plants, which adds a whole new level of enjoyment to dining out.We were there for breakfast, and the options were plentiful and impressive. From coffees and teas to a variety of breakfast and lunch foods, there's something for everyone. The food? Absolutely amazing. It's not every day you find a spot that nails both the atmosphere and the menu, but Bloom Café has done just that. It's a cool, little place that's definitely worth a visit.“
“This is a fantastic location with some very kind staff. Delicious ice cream prepared quickly and served compassionately. Not many better ice cream places around. Churn can have higher prices than other ice cream places, but for the quality of ice cream, it is worth it.“
“They've figured the recipe to the perfect hang-out spot in this area. Kat's coffeehouse is cute, charming, has lovely decor, friendly servers, good coffee/ tea/ snack options, and is a great place to meet friends for an hour. They have egg bites, coffee cakes, cake pops, (food from Sweet Peas) and Penn State Icecream. A few of us from our neighborhood wanted to get together there and Todd (owner with Kat) set up a lovely area for us. Keto? No problem they have plenty of sugar free syrups and are not shy about customizing. Haley, one of the lovely, friendly baristas whipped up a keto Raspberry Frappuccino that my kids beg and fight over. We've quickly fallen in love with Kat and everyone I've taken there has found it charming too.“
