“In lieu of spending the day in the middle of Pennsylvania I had found myself fortunate enough to be dining at Diffy's on the 14 of February with my significant other. The steak was rare, just the way he likes it. I personally enjoyed the seafood platter however in secrecy I came primarily for the coleslaw. “I’m from out of town and was staying in Shippensburg and was looking for some pizza for dinner. I found reviews and decided to try Pizza Man. I placed my order online, very simple process and you can customize everything. I didn’t do delivery, I did carry out, as it was 3 mins from my hotel. I ordered the Sicilian pizza with everything no olives and bacon cheese fries with ranch. The pizza was amazing and the size was great for the price. The Sicilian pizza is huge. From the dough to the toppings everything was fresh and the tomato sauce wasn’t overpowering either. The bacon cheese fries were hot, fresh, and cheesy with a homemade ranch to dip them in. My family and I all agreed this was the best pizza we’d ever ate and wished that our pizza down home tasted like this. If you’re looking for a great pizza place, then choose Pizza Man, you won’t regret it!”

“I had an interesting experience here. I went with minimal expectations. It's a "default" destination for people who don't want to venture out from their hotel after all.

The person tending bar when I arrived was a pleasant lady who took my drink and food order:
Vodka martini and a Bistro Burger
I knew immediately there was a concern because I wasn't asked what vodka I preferred and whether I wanted it straight up or on the rocks etc.
the drink I got was (forgive me) disgusting. It was all vermouth and had a LIME in it.
I choked this down and ordered a whiskey instead since that's pretty much impossible to mess up :)

To make matters worse, the couple that came in after me not only got their burgers before me, they finished them before I got mine.

Another person arrived behind the bar in the meantime.
His name is "T".
He gave me a water without me asking, asked me about my food order, and offered me another whiskey (again without asking me what I had- meaning he had looked to find out).

He apologized for the food situation and got me my burger.

I over-tipped him to acknowledge the good service. I decided to let him know about the issues I had, and he insisted on making me a proper martini. It was perfect.

Turns out he had a family emergency, which is why he was not there when I walked in when they opened to take my order and provide proper service.

Give this guy and his place a chance. He clearly cares about his customers and the service provided here, which is all too rare these days.

“We were craving a burger but wanted to try somewhere different. Heard about the Red Rooster Pizzaria and gave them a try. Had the cheeseburger subs and ordered fries and onion rings. Enjoyed everything. We'd definitely recommend. They also deliver.”

“Local ice cream place. Good to hang out with friends. You get a decent amount of ice cream for the price. You can sample the flavors so pick what you like. Turns out the chocotella has nothing to do with Nutella.”

Surprisingly decent selection of beer and cocktails at very good prices, and a slammin' set of DJs that keep the tunes and the light shows rolling along later in the evenings. Some pool tables, too if you enjoy that. Just a great bar.”

“Spencer Witmer & I frequently visit the Starbucks location in Shippensburg. The Baristas are always super friendly, efficient and have remembered us. I usually get complimented on my nails and make up which is always a nice pick me up for the confidence. Today I stopped by myself and was not put together like I normally am.. The Barista kindly and respectfully asked what my pronouns are because they wanted to address me correctly. I said “she/her” and she was like you’ve got it. She also said “we love you here and love seeing you! “ That may seem minor to some people but to me that meant a lot. ♥️ 🏳️‍⚧️ 🌈”

“Went to this place because the mexican restaurant next door sucked. The decoration I thought was wonderful, especially the TV showing videos of flowers. Mac and Cheese Bites came to us super hot (yay!) and were awesome but pizza was even better!! Longest cheese pull btw. Guy that served us was doing a good job He deserves a raise just because why not? Anyway 5/5 stars on every part!!!!(we hate u mexican restaurant next door)”
