“They have an intercom which is clear to let people know who have never been which window to go to and also tell people when their orders are ready. The pick up line could have been more smooth and fast paced. The food thought was delicious and full of meat. Would love to go back next time I’m in town.“

“Small walk-in sandwich shop that serves up big tastes! Their cheese steaks are excellent! While some places rely on their choice of bread to carry their cheese steaks, Jim's West puts it all out there with their meat. The juicy, delicious flavor of every bite reminds you who's the star. They also make a homemade banana pudding that you have to come back for! Don't be off if you see thru the door a lot of ppl squeezed inside waiting. Beside the kitchen area, there's little room but to order and move along with the line to pickup and pay. The employees are really fun and eager to serve, and work hard to keep things going and deliver good food. I'd definitely would return.“

“My husband and I were in town visiting our son. This was definitely an authentic cheese steak. My son had the mushroom and hubby and I shared a mushroom and added hot/sweet peppers with Swiss cheese. My husband is GF and they made ours in a bowl with lettuce and tomato. We also ordered curly fries. Everything was delish and seasoned nicely. Looks like a party store, but step inside and eat in or take-out. It was a great way to begin our Philly visit.“

“I had family in from Connecticut. Our plan was to do DiLasandro's but...you can't eat inside and it's a 45 minute wait. We went across the street to Chuby's. We were not disappointed! The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks were great! And...the fries...the best I've had in a long time...crispy and delicious! If you insist on DiLasandro's...waiting 45 minutes and then going somewhere to eat it...I understand. However, if you want to sit down...and have fries with ZERO wait for a table...(DiLasandro's only has bags of chips) go for it. But...to me...I'd give Chubby's a 4!!!“

“Saad’s has one of the best cheesesteaks in the city. Yes, you heard that right. The halal nature of their cooking means they have the finest meats, cheese, and bread. The steak was very flavorful without the greasy mess that a lot of others have. The fries are amazing, too. The place is a little small so getting it to-go is recommended. “The older couple who run and operate this spot are incredibly kind people, but what makes this place truly special is that the food is of high quality and there are a wide breadth of options from stoner classics like legendary philly mega fries to spaghetti to cheesesteaks to grinders, prices are incredibly reasonable. I love this place, feel like it is becoming the victim of a less trafficked portion of baltimore ave, which is a shame. People that live around clark park consider makes this your spot, it's worth the walk. highly recommend the ham (or capicola if they have it) grinder, one of the best i've had in the city.“

“Its Sals Pizza, the best pizza in south jersey. Id argue the best pizza in the tri-state area. But thats for a specific pizza, the comfort pizza. That old school floppy, glorious cheese pull, thin crust goodness. They've been belting out since I was a kid. High quality ingredients produces high quality results. Pricing is a couple bucks more than the half dozen competitors in the area and they dont deliver. But just makes them the perfect comfort food pizza. By the time you've had 2 or 3 other places pizzas, you remember why Sals is your go to for that slice of happiness. Incidentally they have my 2nd favorite cheese fry. So odd that theyre one of the only places to use shoe string, slighly under cooked, for those amazing floppy fries me and mine love so much! Apparently im really into floppy foods im just realizing.“
