Had to come back for a specialist appointment yesterday, and asked friends, where can I get a good hoagie in Newtown Square. A Cut Above Deli was the ONLY recommendation, and they were 100% right! The hoagie was ready on time, wrapped in four sheets of paper, and was solid, hefty. The countermen were friendly and genuine. $15 for a "regular" seemed steep, but I was judging them by the standards of lesser sandwiches; once I opened it and got a bite, I realized it was a fair price. “Chester staple. I've never had a bad hoagie from Lee's and that's saying alot these days. They pack the meat on the bottom AND the top unlike some other weird hoagie shops. The regular sized hoagie is enough to feed two people.“
