Had lunch there today as part of our office's quest to find the best pizza in State College. I was impressed with their new lunch menu that let's you pick from 3 crusts and any toppings by the slice at a reasonable price. The flakey crust was unconventional but very tasty. I went to the Hi-Way downtown in college but have largely forgotten it but was pleasantly surprised today and will go back for lunch much more often. Will they win our office vote for the best pizza? Over all the food and State College is not that great but this place is definitely worth trying

HiWay Pizza Pub is known for its delicious Sicilian pizza and crunchy French fries. The restaurant offers both white and red-based pizzas that are highly praised. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the service has been some of the best pizza place service. The pizza always comes out hot and timely and is always tasty. The atmosphere is like a normal college sports town bar with a great atmosphere. The menu includes popular salad and pasta dishes, and the pizza is great. Drinks are really good and the staff are good about making drink suggestions for mocktail options. The food tasted great, including the margarita pizza and prosciutto. If you're in State College looking for pizza, it is recommended for eating at the restaurant.
