It’s almost impossible to find a burrito spot on the east coast that doesn’t just fill with rice and beans, let alone that gets the carne asada right. But Cholula gri got it right. “Silvia’s Kitchen opened just a few months before I moved out of the area, and I’m glad I got the chance to try it. It has also become my cousin’s favorite Mexican restaurant in the area.

The owner’s family is very friendly and welcoming, and they often recommend different dishes, which makes the experience even better.

During my visits, I tried several items including Torta Milanesa de Pollo (breaded chicken), which was the first time I had it and really enjoyed it. I also ordered Torta Pollo a la Plancha (grilled chicken), fajitas, quesadilla pollo, tacos, and burritos.

Everything I tried was great, and the portion sizes were generous as well. A solid place with good food and warm hospitality.“

I usually order the 1/2 tray of meat and couple of side for my family for dinner and it never disappoints, and we always have leftovers for lunch or the next nights dinner. The owner is very nice and she’s always there to make sure everything coming out of the kitchen is top tier. 10 out of 10 in my books!! “Made a return trip today and enjoyed the food even more than the first time. My friend had the loaded nachos which were mouth watering. We shared cheese quesadilla which were loaded and delicious. One pork tamale tasted so great we added a chicken tamale! I want to be adopted by the chef!!! Highly recommend a visit there. Plenty of free parking, immaculate rest rooms and restaurant is clean and cheerful. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Prices excellent. You won't be disappointed.“

However this outdated place is falling apart as every visit something appears to be wrong which is odd for this area. My family are regulars at this location so of course we notice everything. Now, There are leaks everywhere. You can tell the staff is a tad embarrassed but they do constantly apologize and try their best to, well , keep us dry? unfortunately won’t be back until it is safe for us to purchase from here without getting wet or having food contaminated. I was told about this place by a coworker and decided to give them a try! The customer service, the freshly (on the spot) prepared meals, and the L.A. Taco Bistro signature sauce were all excellent. Be advised, with your food being prepared fresh to order, you will have a wait. My next time, I called ahead and my food was ready at pickup. I’d advise you to call ahead with your preferred pickup time. Their extensive menu will please the most discerning palate! Bon Apetité!“

“Super attentive and friendly staff. The braised short rib Santa fe burrito was one of the best burritos I've ever had. The smoothie was crisp and refreshing. Food came out fast, hot and delicious. Can't wait to go back and try the adobo. Found my new favorite taco and burrito spot.“
