“It has been a long while since I have been so driven as to write a review for a Hawley restaurant. The place speaks for itself.... for a restaurant with very little parking , you will find it FULL with reservations required. We have eaten there several times on a Thursday night during the early bird special menu and I highly recommend it . On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 14. I was referred to the Ridge and have in turn referred many others. A smaller , very comfortable place with 100 year old victorian architecture and some of the best food and broad selection of entrees that I have experienced anywhere in a long time.”

“Fabulous find. Great authentic food - made to order. It's not fast food, so be patient. The beet soup (borscht) with mushroom dumplings was great. Lech, the owner can out and spoke with us for a bit. Was there in September and will be back again soon. Not to be missed in Greentown / Ledgedale / Lake Wallenpaupack area just a few min off I 84.”

Not conventional but maybe everyone should follow suit here. This is something I experienced in Florence by the way. so if the quality is there, then quit your whining, and LOOSEN UP I say! Publishing fixed prices with the way the cost of food goods are fluctuating like gas prices is a huge waste of time and money for small business! A small business owner who usually doesn't have enough time in the day as it is, should simply adopt the concept. It probably saves a ton of money and time, I get it, I applaud the notion! “Wow! I can’t say enough about how good breakfast just was! We started with fresh really hot coffee. My friend had the creamed chipped beef which he said was delicious. I had eggs which were cooked just right, yummy hot home fries and crispy bacon. The toast was even toasted to perfection and the bacon just the way I like it, crispy! Looking forward to eating there again. Our server was excellent. What more could you ask for? ❤️”

“had a surprise delivery.from Hunter Valley the other evening. I wasn't feeling well and my daughter ordered food for me. included was the worlds best mushroom soup. Tjen..a platter of here ski stuffed with cabbage. And then our came the most delicious shrimp scampi. The shrimp were huge and so succulent! They were juicy and sweet and the stars of the dish. There was linguine and a fresh light tomato sauce. Fabulous!!!Can't wait to try the rest of the mwal.And they delivered!!! Everything came i piping hot!”

Their peanut butter pie is also rich. The chocolate bottom and whip cream is so good. The pie - you definitely could share with someone, take as leftovers, or both!

Their drinks didn’t taste the best, but good size and strong - so you’re getting your money’s worth.
