“This place is awesome! I went for the first time earlier this week and it was way better than I expected! I just wanted to sit a check some school emails, but the food here was too tempting. I had the Rose Garden sandwich, which is delicious with the pesto and spinach combination. I also had a double shot latte with oat milk and hazelnut flavor, which was also wonderful. I also highly approve of the chai here! I'm not a high-end coffee person but this place had tasty drinks and snacks to match. And the overall establishment had a cute charm to it, I love the bench seating by the window. Bathrooms were clean and to save best for last, the guys running the place are very sweet. For a first timer who probably took too long, the ones who made the coffee and sandwich were super nice to me. No bad energy here. Overall 10/10 on this little small business gem in the city.“

“Every time I go to Ms. Velvet’s I know I’ll be greeted with wonderful service and delicious coffee. My go to beverage is a latte and I’m yet to taste one I don’t like. “Stumbled across this gem after a trip to Renningers market. We got the half wrap/soup combo with the chicken Caesar wrap and chicken corn chowder. The Chicken corn chowder is to DIE for! They offer homemade baked goods and healthier options which is always a plus for me. Prices can’t be beat. Our new breakfast/lunch go-to for sure.“

“The outdoor seating for this cafe had a lovely view of the pool and a bit of the mountain. The service was prompt and very friendly. The bar area had plenty of options to choose from, including a couple beers on tap.The food was definitely lacking, especially for the cost. The quesadilla was the highlight, with good seasoning and plenty of chicken and cheese. The green salsa that came with it was delicious and had just enough of a kick. The nachos were lackluster, and kind of felt like something I could make at home in the microwave for a third of the cost. The spring rolls were ridiculously small for the $13 price tag - easily eaten in one bite, and not outstanding taste-wise.For a dining spot in a pricey resort, we found it incongruent that we were served on plastic plates and with plastic utensils.When we had the option of eating here again the next day for lunch or driving down into town to find someplace else, we chose to go elsewhere. However, I do want to reiterate that the waitresses were very attentive and kind.“

“I just had my wedding catered through Cathy’s. From start to finish all my questions were answered and an awesome menu was picked out that accommodated a few guests who were gluten free. Cathy and her staff helped make our big day perfect and we got so many compliments on the food!“
