“Went here because my daughter had been seeing a bunch of ads for it on social media and I had never heard of it so we figured let's go try.

In terms of ordering experience it's pretty straight forward as you place your order on one of two computers they have and then step aside and wait for your name to be called.

In regards to the space itself it was bright and pleasing to look at and clean.

Let's talk about the cookies, now taste is of course subjective but I found the cookies to taste good, not the best I have ever had but pretty good.

Now the following is going to again be subjective but to me the cookies are too under done, my kids liked that raw cookie dough feeling and texture but I would have liked them to have been a bit more firm. I had thought it was because they were fresh that they were so soft but even after a few hours at home to cool the cookies where still very much undercooked and infact my one definitely had some raw dough in the middle. My wife and kids through loved this fact so again this might be amazing if you like a cookie like that or it might be a turn off if you like a done and crumbly cookie.

Your paying for the hype and agressive marketing this company does, a dozen was nearly $50 dollars and they are not worth that to me, again subjective, but I have had better cookies at a local famous bakery in Oakmont for significantly less and with equal/better quality.

Honestly this place reminds me of when Krispy Cream came to town and the experience of getting a hot and fresh donut was new and exciting but after a while you came to realize that while it was a good donut it was not anything special and this place feels the same but with cookies.“

The service was also excellent, the woman at the counter was so lovely and kind, she went the extra mile and even brought us out a free coffee to have with our biscotti. The tasting was a delight, and if anything we ate waaaaay too much while were there, but it was all so incredibly good! “We celebrated my Mom's 90th birthday last week and the staff at Paddy Cake Bakery did a stellar job for us. They made a delicious full sheet cake and included a photo of our Mom and matched the colors of the flowers to the photo. They also offered a very convenient service and delivered our cake to the Shop N Save on Babcock Blvd. closer to where the party was (off McKnight Road). The cake looked and tasted amazing, very moist and flavorful and was split into chocolate and white cake. We wanted to be sure we had enough cake for all of the residents and staff where our Mom lives and the full sheet cake served about 65 to 70 people. Highly recommend Paddy Cake Bakery.“

“We have always gotten our special occasion cakes here. They have always been decorated beautifully and tasted amazing. Just recently, our kids got my retirement cake here. It was moist and tasted wonderful, but the decorating was disappointing. Icing colors were dark and the writing left much to be desired. Icing flowers weren't that great.They used to have a lady that wrote in calligraphy and the cakes were decorated so beautifully, that you didn't want to cut it!! They used to decorate with the most beautiful flowers and ask you what kind you wanted on the cake. We were disappointed with the decorated part...not the taste of the cake.“

“Been in Oakland for a few years and Sidecar is my go-to cafe for myself and to meet up with friends. The food is phenomenal, their baked goods are perfection, and the drinks are delicious. Special shout out to the barista Em for making some of the best coffees I’ve ever had and always having great drink recommendations and such cheerful, professional customer service. The entire place is decorated so cutely with their signature mugs and wall art (please start selling the mugs!) and their iconic mirror wall. I recommend Sidecar whenever a friend mentions they want to get coffee, and I always recommend the Pittsburgh Smog tea and cinnamon rolls.“
