“We booked with Primal Pigment and puzzle room which is a two minute walk from Hula. We were traveling from about an hour away and knew we were going to be pressed for time. When we called to ask a few questions, the owner Sherry went out of her way to accommodate us. She took our orders a day in advance and had them ready for when we arrived. Food was delicious! If you ever thought to yourself, "this burger could use a grilled cheese," "this grilled cheese could use a burger" or never thought any of those in your life but love GOUD cheesy food- this one is for you. The Texas toast (don't know if that's what it was but that's what it felt like) was buttered to the gawds above. Ruggers knows the CTS (cheese to sando) ratio and went above and beyond the call of duty. The burg patty was flavorful itself and held its own up next to the overflowing cheese mountain that surrounded it. The fries were a perfectly salted addition to the sando. It was as mouthwateringly delicious as it looks and #GOUDapproved from all angles over here. Mondays are also taco night so you gotta pick up a few tacos SIGNATURE! Grilled Cheeseburgher Our 3 cheese grilled cheese sandwich with American, Mozzarella, and Swiss. But with a burgher patty in the middle. “I sometimes have a hard time finding this little neighborhood bar. It's a gem. I feel like it's kind of like a phantom bar that phases in and out of existence, like something out of Brigadoon. It defines the word 'cozy'. The food went from reheated pizza to (now) very respectable bar food. It's always chill here, and the prices are right. Bar staff are consistently friendly.It's good that this place is hard to find. It's for locals, and people that know how to behave in bars. If you can't respect that, you shouldn't go.“

Our host for our booking was very kind and explained the rules of how curling worked and worked with us to teach us how to properly throw. He also helped us keep score. He was very encouraging and kind and made our experience fun. The rinks were groomed nicely-not like the olympics but for a local curling venue-was very pleased. “Came in for lunch. 10 out of 10. We had wings which were jumbo, fresh, delish, and a great price. We had the cheese fries which reminded us of Kennywoods potato patch. “Murphy's a great, old-school, no-fuss dive bar with a dying neighborhood vibe, which the next generation will not know that they are missing until it's too late. It's super friendly, but in representation by the staff and the locals that crowd around the bar, and as it's a cash establishment, it's more than affordable. It's a real dive bar, so the beer and drink selection will not be too extensive, but if you're looking for 60 different kinds on a rotating tap, you're in the wrong place. It's dimly lit but no longer smokey, which is great when you just want to hide from the world.Nothing bad to be said about the place, and it's nice to be treated like you're part of the neighborhood, even as a married-on person (my husband lived here about a decade earlier, and so he's still recognized by staff and regulars).“

“We've been going here for years. A few takeaways:Would love to see establishment be in a larger place. Many times we have to go somewhere else when no seating is available. The interior could use a bit of a refresh, it's dark. Most folks that I have brought here and myself think the high top tables are toooo high. They are not at a comfortable arm height. The menu could use a refresh. It has been the same for years. Some healthier options would be nice for summer. We do patronize here often, hubby likes the wing night! Prices are somewhat reasonable. Out of 2 of the top 3 domestic beers before halftime. Nice spot for Eagles fans to gather but you're better off BYOB.“

Waited 20 minutes for a refill of my diet coke as I watched our waitress/ bar tender have a full-on conversation with patrons at the bar.
