“Among my favorite breweries in Pittsburgh, and a great addition to the growing brew-culture in Verona / Oakmont area. They are unafraid to experiment with bold, delicious, and unique flavor profiles (I'm looking at you, Sichuan Peppercorn Rice Lager), but have all the staples across the spectrum of types of beer.

Great spot for a quiet hang, great beer, and friendly staff and patrons. Perfect addition to downtown Verona.“

“My husband and I have been going to the Village Inn for many years now. Everything we have eaten there has been so delicious from sandwiches to great Italian Food . My favorite is the stuffed crabmeat mushroom appetizer, bruschetta and Chicken Romano. The meatballs and pasta are so good. My favorite dessert is the Tiramisu. I highly recommend the Verona Village Inn.“

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!“

“I love the amount of real spices they use in their curries. I can tell that the restaurant has a great quality of food. I am very sensitive to (hot) spices, but I want to enjoy the flavors of Indian food. If I ask for a 0 the spice level feels too hot for me. Last time I came, I asked for them to adjust the spice level to be milder than 0. They were able to reduce the heat in the dish to levels I could handle without reducing the flavor. I have not dined in at this restaurant, but enjoy the ambience of the place. It is clean and the decor is eye catching.“

“The Market in Verona is so awesome. It is so great to go in and get good quality food that you can reheat at home. I recently got the Eggplant Parmesan, pasta and risotto balls. Everything was so delicious and enough for another dinner. My husband got the Chicken Parmesan and really enjoyed it also. The service at the Market is outstanding and it was so nice to also meet Andrew the owner. I am looking forward to coming back again and getting more of this high quality and delicious Italian Food that reminded me so much of what my Mommy used to make. I highly recommend them.“

Went on Saturday morning and it was so impressive we said “We’re coming back tomorrow before we leave!” Only to return Sunday morning and they had standing room only! Sadly my party and I were just going to head back to Indiana, hungry when they called us back in and said”We’re going to make room for you all up top.” They proceeded to prepare another area upstairs to accommodate our party! My quoted time was 40 to 55 minutes. We waited an additional 30 to be told that I wasn't checked in properly. Waited a total of an hour and 20 minutes and still was not seated.“

“LOVE this place. The staff is always super nice. We love Holly, John, Jason, Laci, and Gina are fantastic. This is after 2 years of visiting. And the outdoor space is phenomenal. More than enough room for large groups. Also the beer is great, always. They have sours and ciders too. They deserve to be way busier than they are. Very dog friendly and have a fire going as well on cold days. YOU NEED LIVE MUSIC or a DJ on sundays. PLEASE“

Elijah was very attentive and always happy to meet my toddlers many requests 😅 Also would like to add that even though they were super busy, it took them less than 10 minutes to get us seated and the food didn’t take long to come out at all. All the food was hot and fresh, even the strawberries were freshly cut. We will definitely be spending many more breakfast and lunch dates here!“

Now this was only my second time here and just like the first time - the woman at the counter (presumably the owner?), was the sweetest woman I've ever met. She is an absolute delight. I placed my order and stepped outside so I could have some fresh air for the day. I came back in and gave her a chocolate rose. She was estatic and so thrilled. Seeing her face light up truly melted my heart. I sat down to wait for my to-go order and she comes over with a little bowl if Thai Tea Ice Cream. mmm mmm good. It's so delicious and hits the spot. She then proceeds to pull a fresh rose from her vase and hands it to me. I honestly almost cried. The generosity here exceeds my expectations. The food is beyond amazing. I highly reccomend coming here and I cannot wait to come back soon. 🥰“

The take out duck noodle soup comes with separate baggies with fresh basil, freshly chopped scallions, jalapeño slices and other garnishes. And the vermicelli are separate from the broth. You combine it on your own at home. Highly recommend.“
