Jenny Smoothie in Roxborough is absolutely amazing. I’ve been coming to Jenny since she first started years ago back when she was running the food truck, and it’s been incredible to watch her grow into what she has built today.

The owner is genuinely one of the best people—great personality, amazing energy and aura, and you can tell she puts real love into everything she makes. The customer service is always on point, and she actually remembers me every time I come in, which makes it feel personal and welcoming every visit.

Everything is made with care and you can taste the love in it every single time. She truly deserves all the success coming her way and more. I’m so proud of how far she’s come and can’t wait to see what she does next.

I ordered a kid’s strawberry banana smoothie, a kids carrot mango kids smoothie, and a Ginger smoothie. 😋You can see the ingredients are REAL fruits and vegetables that are cut right in front of you‼️ All were very good, and a generous amount. “A hidden gem in Philadelphia and one of the best juice bars in the country. Very few places in the states compare to the Fresh juices and smoothies this little shop pumps out. You can see people from all walks of life on a daily basis that come here for that hit of vitamin, minerals and absolute refreshment. No space to sit but a great place to grab and go for your own customized drinks. They also serve light food such as wraps.“

“This is my favorite place for smoothies, but unfortunately the service is awful. The blonde girl who isn’t there anymore was always super kind and friendly, along with another taller girl. The other girl (typically in pajama pants), is insanely rude and does not belong in customer service. She won’t even acknowledge you and when she does, she doesn’t say hello - she just rolls her eyes like she’s mad that she has to do her job. It’s unfortunate because I love the smoothies here, but it’s so uncomfortable walking into an establishment to pick up your order, and get eyes rolled at you. Other people also experience this so I know it’s not just me.“

“Overall, the food was very good, but this place would be 10+ with some minor changes. My pork sandwich Had the potential to be one of the best I have had in a long time. It’s actually very clean and not greasy. The role was a little overwhelming, and the proportion of food to roll was not great. It was very little cheese on it, it was a small portion of broccoli, Rob and the long hots were nonexistent basically. I also missed the Parmesan cheese that was supposed to be sprinkled as well as the red pepper flakes. That said the pork was really quite good and so if they actually had made the sandwich correctly as noted above, it would’ve been a 10+. So it was a little bit disheartening. My lunch companion had the chicken Umbria, which had an overwhelming amount of bread to cutlet on it, but overall, he thought it was quite good. He would’ve read it in an A+. The service is basically not existent the person Lloyd he didn’t come back. It was non-intentive. We had to ask twice for napkins and utensils. She never came back to gave us water until we flagged her down. So don’t come here for the service. The ambience was just fine.“

“It was an nice medium sized event space. It was very beautifully decorated for my Sister's Bridal Shower. She enjoyed it from beginning to the end. There are two bathrooms in the back. They offered us the back too but I didn't get to see back there. But very nice people who own it here. The parking is limited and the place is easy to miss if you're not paying attention. It has a colored gated door entrance. The parking is on either side of the block. But they rushed to get us to end the event which was weird and unprofessional. But still a very nice place...“

“Whenever I visit my family in Media, daily visits to KFT are a must!! I’ve been a faithful KFT customer since it has opened in Media. I’ve had many bubble teas from many different places and nothing has topped KFT yet. The milk teas are my go-to. The tea is always super strong and rich and the boba always fresh and cooked to perfection. Love that they’ve added Vietnamese food to the menu— especially the banh mi and now with an option for pate! Everything is a little on the pricey side, but that’s yet deterred me coming back again and again.

The only “negative” I have to share is that I think they need to improve how they prioritize orders, especially mobile orders. I’ve often had to wait quite a long time for mobile orders to be completed, whether for food or for drinks.

I’m not sure the manager’s name (assuming he’s the manager), but he is very nice and always seems to recognize me when I come in even when I’m only in maybe once a month or so.“

“Somehow forgot to review this joint…so here it goes! Had the Greek toast and it was fabulous! It wasn’t a huge portion being that I’m a man but I hammered that toast like it was John Stamos!!! It was served on a wood cutting board which was cool but some of the toppings kept falling off and onto the table! I would have ate the pieces that fell on the table but I have a wood allergy!! My daughter got a bowl but I don’t remember which one! That was delicious too because I ended up eating most of that(she didn’t like it)!! I went home and did the treadmill…blood tests always say pre diabetic 🤷🏾. The coffee was delicious as well!! Have to give a huge shout out to the granola they have!!!!!! It was in my daughter’s bowl and it was the best granola ever!!!! We ate outside which was very nice and the one couple had their dog with them!!! I looked at that dog and said Hey Dog O, heheheee!!!! The whole Ellis Preserve is a great spot and Toastique is a must visit!!!!“

I've never had Caribbean food before, and when I asked for recommendations everyone (staff and customers) was so kind and gave me lots of good suggestions. I wasn't disappointed by anything I ordered. The chicken stew platter was easily my favorite dish but the chicken roti and potato roti were delicious as well. Someone recommended a coconut bake with the platter and that made the whole meal even better. I also tried the currant roll and bread pudding which satisfied my craving for a dessert. “I have been eating here every Sunday for several years. And then I shop. Everything tastes great, everything is organic, mostly wholegrain and it is 95% vegan and is an amazing bargain! Jammed Yam (sweet potato with quinoa, black beans, pineapple, mixed peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, avocado) has been my go to for a while now, but I do get other entrees from time to time. There is always a special and a soup and if you get there early you might be able to get one or two of their $.99 vegan wholegrain muffins. Yes, you can mix and match any ingredients or pay $.75 to get extra. I also get a kombucha refill in my growler.“

I offered to pay extra for the bacon as it should be an upcharge and the manager/owner declined my money. They got our food out super fast and I’ve truly never had a bad order.
