“We were visiting from out of town and tried this place based on the menu and atmosphere. It was fabulous! Our server was so lovely, I wanted to take her home with us. The owner was a delight also. They deserve your business !!!!!

Dietary restrictions: I eat no flour or sugar and lots of vegetables. My husband is lactose free and gluten intolerant. He had the mussels (I tried one and it was amazing) and then beef kabobs. I had lamb kabobs with extra veggies. If we lived here we would be here all the time!!“

“Went the other night for the first time for dinner. Service was excellent and friendly, and did a good job answering questions. We got an appetizer of the beets that was delicious. The short rib risotto was out of this world - tender, flavorful and absolutely delicious. The goat however was a big miss. Came out as a round rolled piece that seemed unfortunately overcooked and tough. I was expecting a braised goat closer to a braised short rib. The couple next to us had the same two dishes and I noticed they didn't enjoy the goat either. The creme brulee desert was also spectacular. The atmosphere gets 3 because on a cold night, and with the restaurant being as small and cramped as it is, anytime someone comes or goes there's freezing cold wind that blows in. I wish more restaurants here did what they do in NYC with the plastic vestibules in front of the doors to prevent that.“

The food is delicious, and prepared with love by Ali and his family. The menu has a wide variety of Mediterranean food, so you can get everything you'd like! They also do custom requests (and catering!) if you'd like something specially prepared for you.First and foremost, the "famous" pumpkin bread pudding was absolutely amazing. Fortunately they serve it all year round! It was great cold, warmed up, and from the fridge the next day. The savory pumpkin and just-right-amount of spices pair perfectly with the rich, sweet bread pudding. Do not miss out on this one! And eat dessert first!At my sis' recommendation, I tried the stuffed grape leaf wrap - and it was delicious. It had all the things a tiny stuffed grape leaf would have in it, with extra tasty ingredients, in the convenience and size of a full wrap! There is a reason that we ordered three of them, and they were gone in a blink!The moussaka was a little light on the bechamel layer, but otherwise wonderful. The ground meat, sauce, and cheese were great with the layers of eggplant. It's perfectly pickled, freshly made, and you can get as large a size to fit your hunger. “This is our first visit, and we will be coming back for more. The dining area is neat and clean with a classic, Greek, Santorini style color scheme. We tried the roasted pepper and cheese appetizer, stuffed tomatoes, salad, lemon potatoes, pita, and chicken souvlaki. All were spot on, although I wish the salads included more olives.
We were going to dine at the outdoor tables today, but instead stayed inside to enjoy the traditional music recordings that were playing.
The chef and waitress were very friendly and welcoming.

“Let me start by saying I love the food at The Halal Guys so much that I ate there pretty much 4/4 nights a week for a year straight after work before trimming it back. I've never done that with any other restaurant. The gentleman I spoke to leaving the restaurant the other night said he drove 40 minutes to come enjoy the food. All of the food is very fresh. They are always cooking fresh chicken and beef. All the veggies are a great addition to the platter along with the fresh rice that is always being replenished. The hummus is very good and when you add the chili based hot sauce and mix it up, it's heaven. For those who can't handle the heat, there's their very popular "white sauce". King of Prussia is always very busy. Please do not let "Bobby Bobby" deter you from going to The Halal guys. He clearly doesn't understand the restaurant business......no crime. Look at his bowl. It has chicken and rice ONLY. Evidently he thinks since he is afraid of eating veggies that the rest of his bowl should be filled with extra meat. Sorry Bobby Bobby; that is not how any restaurant works. This place gives a ton of food. I rarely finish my small bowl and have never ordered a large one. In this business you could have the best product and location but take away top notch customer service and a highly dedicated GM/owner and get ready for your "Grand Closing". Caesar has been the GM at KOP for years now and I've never seen him have a bad day. He always has a smile on his face and treats all of his customers with the utmost respect. His customer service is exceptional. This is extremely rare. How do I know this? 35 years in the restaurant industry. Hail Caesar!!“
