“It’s been awhile since we were at this Applebees, but we will be back sooner! Had a great waiter Michael, very friendly, polite & he made sure our order was prepared the way we ordered it. Ordered burger well done & it came out with much to pink for me. He took it back & then told me they would prepare a new burger for me, instead of recooking it. Meal was hot & fresh & kept checking with us to see if we needed anything. Keep up the great work Michael - it is appreciated!!“

“My husband, teenager, and I tried this place out for the first time. I cannot get over the quality of food for the price. My husband and I both tried a burger. I had the Western which I've had plenty of times at other places but I've never had it on rye bread before. So yummy and unique! Hubby had the Hangover. He always customizes his food which can be troublesome but not here. I couldn't believe the waitress asked how I wanted my burger cooked... That's when you know they are fresh! The overhead music wasn't too loud and there was such a mix of patrons that the whole atmosphere was very inviting. And then comes the bill... 3 full meals with waters was less than $45! I can't even get Chick-fil-A for that amount. We will definitely be back!“

“Charming little diner in a wonderful small town. Service is prompt, professional, and kind. The food is exactly what should be served in a place like this, simple, yet delicious! America needs more small locally owned diners just like this! It's not a fancy place, but it's perfect in its own delightful way! I will definitely be visiting again next time I'm in the area.“

“I stopped in from hiking the AT and the owner was very nice to me (even though I probably looked/smelled pretty bad). The burger was delicious, and I love any place that has cheap PBR/Yuengers on tap.
The overall vibe was very hometown/dive, lots of positive energy.
Even though I was a stranger I felt welcomed.“

“I have to say, wow, we are very impressed with the new old bay chicken tenders. Keep up the excellent work. I highly recommend eating here—my 3 yr. Old is tough to please and very picky, but he loves the food also. Thank you for everything. Enjoyable environment. The people are so kind. If you have high expectations of cleanliness and love home-cooked meals, Gibbles is the place to go. Ps, the cupcakes are out of this world delicious.“

“I think it's weird how busy the Dennys across the street from this place is and how this place is like a ghost town. The food here is better, cheaper and you don't have to wait for a hour to actually get your food.
I think many people (like us) forget it's even here.
The food was great, service was great. We were able to be seated as soon as we got there on a Saturday morning. We will definitely be back.“

“Our server Kyle was great! They were able to make me foods safe for me to eat due to my food allergies (THANK YOU!!). Others in my party loved the fresh, homemade rolls (I’m allergic, so couldn’t eat them, but they looked amazing!).
The only downside was the extra long wait. We were told 30-40 minutes, but the wait was over 50 minutes. It was the day after Valentine’s Day, so I’d guess this wasn’t normal. You can make reservations online, I’d highly suggest it!
Dietary restrictions: I let them know my allergies and they worked to make me a great meal!“

“Quiet afternoon, slipped in to grab a quick lunch while I wasted a few moments before returning to pick up a gift being engraved at DC Laser. One of the best, if not the best laser, engraving shop in Hagerstown, MD.
Now for the Green Turtle, my favorite place for funnel cake fries FOR SURE!! It’s the best dessert before your main entree! The French Fries are AWESOME too!! I grabbed a bacon cheeseburger, only able to eat about four bites of each but WORTH every MOMENT/EVERY BITE!!

“Edit: Oh my gosh. I just saw all the reviews and it honestly looks like an entire family decided to have everyone they know write a bad review in one day for something messy. January 21st! Take a look! That’s just cruelty towards a small business. I love this place! Same as my Google review. So much fun! I haven’t gone bowling since I was a kid so I was a little nervous, but it was actually really nice to interact with Bailey and everyone who was there! Very nice and inviting people! Accepting and willing to include people who arrive alone. <3“

“I just had the best well done steak I ever ate in my life, made by Jose, at Denny's at 1630 Dual Hwy Hagerstown, MD. The server, Michelle L, was also very attentive and pleasant. We really had a delightful breakfast on this last morning of our road trip. Thanks.“

I wish all people were as kind to him in the world as the whole staff was today. His mom is currently in surgery and he’s very anxious.
