“We celebrated a birthday today at Jasmine Asian Bistro. I saw the menu online offered "vegetable" offerings with imitation meats. We were presented with the regular menu and when I asked for the vegetable menu it was presented in less than 15 sec. We all selected dishes from this menu and everything was delicious! This is a gem of a restaurant and hope to return. They also brought a dish of ice cream and cookie and sang Happy Birthday to my son!“

The service was great, the staff were kind and courteous and helped us order and decide how much to order.

“We've been enjoying home delivery from Lau Kee for many years. Yesterday we dined-in at their small yet busy Philly Chinatown location for the first time. Their food is excellent from delivery. It's even better right out of the kitchen. Unpretentious, with quick, responsive service.“

The interior design is remincent of authentic Chinese culture with wooden dragons carved in the wall. You can sit at the bar or sit in the main dining area. The chilli sauce/oil is a nice surprise it's fragrant with a hint of perfume of anise, cardamom and clove, amongst other herbs,all smothered in oils and Sichuan pepper. “My husband and his family have gotten food from Sandy (owner) since he was a little boy and now he is in his 40s with a family of his own. Even though we don't live close by for delivery anymore, we still order from them and I will go and pick up the food. Their food is delicious, the price are reasonable and the service is great. Sandy and her team are awesome. When I go to pick up my food and get to watch her in action, it amazes me how she remembers her customers' names, thus the loyalty she gets from repeated customers. She is so nice too. Not only do we order food for our meals, I also like to order her food for parties that I host. Price are reasonable and my guests always compliments the food. Less cooking I need to worry about. Some of our favorites when we order are: general tso chicken, fried wonton (my husband only like hers), sum gum lomein, pork fried rice, chicken wings, boneless spare ribs (one of the best...i tried other places... not the same), spare ribs, stir fry pork bean sprout (i don't see this on other Chinese food menu), sweet and sour chicken. Shrimp egg foo young, and her soups. We tried other items on her menu, but these are our favorites.“

“Tried takeout today for the first time and everything was delicious. This is more of a takeout place since the vibe is very basic, but there are a few tables for eat-in. I had the Pork Rib noodles and it was a very large portion with fresh bok choy, nicely spiced pork, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Also tried spring rolls and hot and sour soup (standards to see how they compare to other restaurants in the area). Spring rolls had options of chicken or chicken and shrimp, not greasy at all, and very good. Hot and sour soup was hotter than I've had elsewhere and not as thick as usual--i prefer this version. Prices were very good especially given the portion size of the noodles, easily enough for 2 meals. I will definitely be back!“

“I'm from "The Strip" in West Philly, but I live in Houston now. I wanted to taste home when I visited this summer. My friend took me to this place and it didn't disappoint. Friendly staff. “Had an excellent experience here! We had a large group for a birthday come here pretty last minute after our initial plans fell through. They were very accommodating and friendly!

They took us within the hour, and we were able to chill at the bar while waiting. We had a cake, and they brought it to the back for us. We also had a severe sesame allergy that they made clear they couldn't safely accommodate and allowed us to order some outside food for that person.

The drinks are tasty and strong - loved my pull up in a lemon cocktail. And the food! I am always skeptical of fusion, but I really enjoyed the wonton chips and salsa, baby corn elotes, and tempura avocado tacos!“

“Came to this place for a dinner, I ordered sweet pork, and indeed, it was sweet a little bit too much for myself. The place looks old but clean, it has an atmosphere of an old china restaurant, the service isn't the best, the waitress barely speak English so it was difficult to ask for advice or about the food, however the portions are good and the close late, so for me isn't the best option, but if is late it might be your best option. Prices are average, so around 20us per person. Also you need yo take into consideration that there is no free parking available.“
