“It was moving day and we Googled places to eat to feed the helpers and came across Macuzzo's. WOW, thos place was top notch from the door!!! The aroma welcomed as as well as all the workers. We never seen so many prepared pizzas offering slices, I am talking GOURMET slices, like General Tso's pizza, spicy hot options, pizza with onion rings on top, just so many invitation options!!! We had pizza, subs and 2 kinds of cannoli's, all were absolutely over the top yummo (we are foodies, so we know what we are talking about). We will make the 40 minute trip often just to get some good food!!! Thank you all for an awesome first time visit experience!!!“

“I am a local truck driver. As I finished my last delivery almost 2 hours from home. I google “subs near me”. This place popped up. Wasn’t too far out of my way. And I didn’t have a trailer so I went off to find this place. (Small shops are the best in my opinion), the Italian sub on a fresh baked roll was amazing. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. “Pizza By Alberto’s It's been 3 years since we stopped by simply because we moved to another state. While we were back in town, we have to stop by our favorite Pizza place to see if they still had the best pizza in this area. We arrived there about 1:20 pm on Thursday. They were not full and only had one other booth with someone in it. The place was neat, clean, and smelled great. In fact, I believe they were cleaning the kitchen as we walked in. From what I could see it was spotless. Our waitress came over introduced herself as Jace and took our drink orders. We ordered water, tea, and a beer. She then took our food order which was the Alberto's Special. This Pizza has your choice of 8 toppings. We ordered the Peperoni, Ham, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, Bacon, Extra Cheese, Black Olives. Every time we go there, we always ordered this Pizza special. We also ordered two side salads and an ordered of garlic bread. Our salads came out fast and were good as was the garlic bread and the beer was cold and tasted great. About the time we were done with our salads the Pizza came out. It looked very good and tons of toppings. When I bit into the Pizza it was very hot and the toppings were so good, and the crust was done perfect. I can't tell you how much I loved this, Pizza. I knew then I was giving it 5 stars. “I went in today for some slices and a drink all for $7. A great deal with even better pizza. The cheese on the pizza was so fresh and cooked perfectly, it smelled very good from the start. I need to know where they get their cheese from so i can buy it for home! Overall extremely friendly and seem to know how to cook great pizza. I will most definitely be coming back in the near future!“

“I don’t come here often, but every time I do, the experience is amazing! The employees are so kind and weren’t just bland people with no emotion. They were all really helpful at making sure we were satisfied with our order. The place is really clean too and well maintained. There is a bathroom at the end of the building, which is also very clean. The pizza was quick at being made and tasted really good. The crust for mostly all the pizza is very thin though, so keep that in mind.“

The course needs the cart trails updated..many pot holes !! Just load with stone simple upgrade... However great staff in clubhouse..

We love to go here on dates because it's hard to beat the price, taste, and experience anywhere else.

We love the corner tables where we can hang out for awhile.

Also just love the MODness all around.

Tonight we were served by a new employee who was feeling nervous about getting everything right for us, but he was doing a great job and the result was the best tasting pizza we've had there yet... and we've had some amazing pizzas.

“walked in the door and sat to the right the kid behind the counter watched us walk in and sit down. 5 minutes later he delivered a drink to a table on the other side of the room he looked over at us and went back behind the counter we sat there for almost 10 more minutes so we walked out. he never said one word to us at all“

“Visiting York from out of town. I had an inch to eat some Stromboli like one does in Pennsylvania. We were lucky enough Shakey Jakes was open until 11. My team and I visited and most of us ordered a Boli. We were told a small would feed one person. So I ordered a large. Holy Stromboli, this thing was huge. I only got through half but I brought it home so I can enjoy it for the next two days. It was so good I felt like it was sent from heaven above. This was EASILY the best food I have ever eaten in Pennsylvania. I can't recommend Shakey Jakes enough. Can't wait to go there again in 3 days when I finally finish my large Boli.“

“I cannot even begin to express how grateful we are for the kindness and exceptional service provided by Jim & Nena's. After a failed delivery with GrubHub it was much needed!! They were patient with GrubHub and my husband as all 3 worked together in rectifying the situation (which was no fault of the restaurant). They not only offered to deliver our order themselves (so we could stop dealing with GrubHub), but also gave us an additional pizza!! Ps. The bacon cheese fries were LOADED in cheese & bacon & they were absolutely delicious. We will certainly be stopping here more often (rather than ordering through GrubHub).“

“I love this place, it's very hole in the wall but for having Pizza in the brand name they do so much more. I work nights so I get food from here often but I don't have to get the same thing all the time. So far my only criticism is about 1/3rd of the time when I order a square cut pizza it gets delivered and it's regular cut, but that's really been about the only hiccup in the service. Other than that it's one of my staple bad for me food places in town lol“

“Just want to say that had an amazing experience from booking the party to packing up and leaving the party. Our party host I think Mackenzie took very good care of us and always made sure everyone snd everything was good . The pizza was hot and fresh . The kids had a blast . Playing games for 2 hours was slot of fun but exhausting . My daughter loved it as well as her friends . Will be booking again in the near future . “I absolutely love going here with my family, we order and dine-in frequently from this establishment they offer amazing wood fired pizzas I haven't found one thing that I've gotten that was below top notch highly recommend this place the atmosphere is amazing the staff is phenomenal always accommodating for the kids which is a big big plus they also have a bar I really recommend checking this place out if you have not ❤️‍🔥 The prices are what I would consider fairly average they're not overpriced but the quality is definitely always there every time I've been there. I marked down that you could spend 10 to 20 per person but you could really spend $10 or less on a person especially if you go for the lunch deals“

“I've been here a few times and have ordered out a few dozen times. The food here is good if not very good in my opinion. The Cheese Steak is very good especially on their Turnover bread. The only complaint is a couple of times I felt they under performed on the amount of cheese steak and toppings. The Fries are very good and I've always got nice hot salted just right. The Hamburgers are very good and big enough with fries to fill you up. The pizzas Ive had have been great as well and my girlfriend likes the Chicken, Bacon Ranch one the most and she is not a pizza person. Being from the Philippines she is more of fish eater than American Food. She also like their Chicken Cheese Steak again she doesn't eat red meat at all because in the Philippines she never really ate it, it was to expensive. They have a great selection of beer too, if you go to pick up a little early you can drink something while waiting. Long review but I wanted to get one out since I have always liked my food from there so far. I saw a few really bad reviews about the owner which shouldn't have much to do with their food. Order pickup and you won't even know who the owner is. People get drunk in bars and get kicked out then give a bad review since they evidently did something to draw the owners attention.“

The menu appears to be slowly changing. A good thing! Drinks are poured with care. Food is excellent.
