“I chose this place for pizza because of the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. It was my first time here, and Nathan greeted me with a smile and a pleasant demeanor. He took my order for a pepperoni pizza. However, when my pizza was served, it did not have pepperoni on it as I thought I had ordered. The young lady who brought my food out (also very nice) clearly showed me that my receipt was for a cheese pizza. No big deal, as the pizza looked delicious and I was hungry. No more than 5 minutes went by when Nathan came to my table with a complimentary cannoli. He apologized for me not having a pepperoni pizza. Customer service above and beyond! The pizza was excellent. I will return.“

“I am a local truck driver. As I finished my last delivery almost 2 hours from home. I google “subs near me”. This place popped up. Wasn’t too far out of my way. And I didn’t have a trailer so I went off to find this place. (Small shops are the best in my opinion), the Italian sub on a fresh baked roll was amazing. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. Definitely will be back“

“Pizza By Alberto’s It's been 3 years since we stopped by simply because we moved to another state. While we were back in town, we have to stop by our favorite Pizza place to see if they still had the best pizza in this area. We arrived there about 1:20 pm on Thursday. They were not full and only had one other booth with someone in it. The place was neat, clean, and smelled great. In fact, I believe they were cleaning the kitchen as we walked in. From what I could see it was spotless. Our waitress came over introduced herself as Jace and took our drink orders. We ordered water, tea, and a beer. She then took our food order which was the Alberto's Special. This Pizza has your choice of 8 toppings. We ordered the Peperoni, Ham, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, Bacon, Extra Cheese, Black Olives. Every time we go there, we always ordered this Pizza special. We also ordered two side salads and an ordered of garlic bread. Our salads came out fast and were good as was the garlic bread and the beer was cold and tasted great. About the time we were done with our salads the Pizza came out. It looked very good and tons of toppings. When I bit into the Pizza it was very hot and the toppings were so good, and the crust was done perfect. I can't tell you how much I loved this, Pizza. I knew then I was giving it 5 stars. “Visiting York from out of town. I had an inch to eat some Stromboli like one does in Pennsylvania. We were lucky enough Shakey Jakes was open until 11. My team and I visited and most of us ordered a Boli. We were told a small would feed one person. So I ordered a large. Holy Stromboli, this thing was huge. I only got through half but I brought it home so I can enjoy it for the next two days. It was so good I felt like it was sent from heaven above. This was EASILY the best food I have ever eaten in Pennsylvania. I can't recommend Shakey Jakes enough. Can't wait to go there again in 3 days when I finally finish my large Boli.“

Nino’s Pizza has become our favorite place to go for a slice of pie! Their pizza is amazing quality and always looks presentable! I highly recommend the buffalo chicken pizza, veggie pizza, and cheese pizza as they will absolutely bring you satisfaction and hunger for more!! I also deeply recommend you try one of their subs as they make their bread from SCRATCH!! Fries are delicious too. I have yet to get an order that didn’t satisfy me and my husband leaves just as fulfilled! “I cannot even begin to express how grateful we are for the kindness and exceptional service provided by Jim & Nena's. After a failed delivery with GrubHub it was much needed!! They were patient with GrubHub and my husband as all 3 worked together in rectifying the situation (which was no fault of the restaurant). They not only offered to deliver our order themselves (so we could stop dealing with GrubHub), but also gave us an additional pizza!! Ps. The bacon cheese fries were LOADED in cheese & bacon & they were absolutely delicious. We will certainly be stopping here more often (rather than ordering through GrubHub).“

Our party host I think Mackenzie took very good care of us and always made sure everyone snd everything was good . The pizza was hot and fresh . The kids had a blast . I marked down that you could spend 10 to 20 per person but you could really spend $10 or less on a person especially if you go for the lunch deals“

“IMO this place has the best fried chicken in town. Used to be Crown Fried Chicken until they changed the name to Pizza Bolis. But I love their chicken. It’s salty and I love salty chicken. I don’t recommend their tenders tho. They’re always overcooked. But their classic fried chicken is the bomb. I always get 3 legs and 3 wings w/ side of fries. Their fries are shoe string fries which are also seasoned. If you like heavily seasoned fried chicken then this is your place. However the atmosphere is not the greatest. It’s always crowded because it’s a small waiting area, and sometimes there’s drama there. On 2 different occasions that I was there, a gun was pulled on someone and a fight broke out right in the middle of the small waiting area. Luckily was able to get out without getting hurt. But I wouldn’t recommend coming here late at night. But they are open late, so that’s a plus if you get late night munchies and need somewhere to eat that’s open late.“

“I've been here a few times and have ordered out a few dozen times. The food here is good if not very good in my opinion. The Cheese Steak is very good especially on their Turnover bread. The only complaint is a couple of times I felt they under performed on the amount of cheese steak and toppings. The Fries are very good and I've always got nice hot salted just right. The Hamburgers are very good and big enough with fries to fill you up. The pizzas Ive had have been great as well and my girlfriend likes the Chicken, Bacon Ranch one the most and she is not a pizza person. Being from the Philippines she is more of fish eater than American Food. She also like their Chicken Cheese Steak again she doesn't eat red meat at all because in the Philippines she never really ate it, it was to expensive. They have a great selection of beer too, if you go to pick up a little early you can drink something while waiting. Long review but I wanted to get one out since I have always liked my food from there so far. I saw a few really bad reviews about the owner which shouldn't have much to do with their food. Order pickup and you won't even know who the owner is. People get drunk in bars and get kicked out then give a bad review since they evidently did something to draw the owners attention.“
